One of a dying breed (used to be a chain) of unpretentious places you could go after work. Brendan the bartender will greet you like a regular which I'm not as I'm usually too busy. Your Gen Z coworkers won't like it as they don't serve some flourescent colored concoction they saw on their phones and the food comes from the deep fryer. Wowowowow - spoke to the staff - they said they were completely closed for SEVENTEEN MONTHS during COVID. It is nothing short of a miracle that they are still here, & since 1968! The no-frills interior belies the amazing food here. This is the best Guiness pour currently available in Manhattan, & the best Reuben sandwich. The Buffalo wings were also on point.
