I thought the Spicy Monkfish was very flavorful and good and the dolsot albap was surprisingly very tasty. Im usually not the biggest fan of albap but this was not too fishy and the crispy rice on the bowl was very pleasant and went well with the dish.
Duck bulgogi probably least special and ok to skip but not bad.“

it didn’t meet the hype that i had heard online, HOWEVER it was a great spot.

for food, we had the cucumber kimchi, which was pretty great. much better than the cucumber salad at din tai fung, but smaller, and had a similar spice level, very low. definitely a highlight and a great way to start.

the ricotta toast was next, and it was ok. i wish we had ordered the caesar instead. as someone who adores a ricotta toast, i thought that the ricotta was really overpowering and i wish more flavor was there to compliment it.

we had the legendary burger, which was solid. not award winning, but certainly was great. the meat had good flavor, and i would recommend trying.

we also had the tater tots which were really great. exactly as described on the menu, and were my favorite item, tied with the cucumber.

as for the chopped cheese rice cakes, i would only recommend them if you are a fan of triple cheese mac n cheese or something similar. good dish, but i would have like to have known about how strong the cheese profile was.

what i will say is that the service was really incredible. we felt welcomed and satisfied at all times. huge shoutout to the waitstaff here. i would come back just for them honestly. super accommodating. thank you guys!“

I had a nice girly drink which was an enhanced Pina Colada. (Required extreme self control to stop at one.) All the desserts sounded great, and I really enjoyed my bread pudding (the very generous serving size was a surprise). You will really be pleased with your dining experience at The Henry!“

If these Wisconsintes find ourselves in Jersey City again, we will absolutely make a dedicated return to the Wurstbar!“

We got a few drinks all were great some on the happy hour some not. We also got some food items the corn cheese pancake a fav and the blood sausage rice cake which was also delicious. “This past August, I had my daughter’s bridal shower at Sidebar. I made all my arrangements with Danny. It was a pleasure to work with him. Everything turned out great. “I went to The Lonesome Club with my husband and his family on a Friday night and was so pleasantly surprised by the experience! We sat outside at one of the picnic tables (the place was busy, so definitely recommend a reservation for a weekend time). It was very family friendly, there were lots of families gathered at the picnic tables and kids were enjoying playing on the sidewalk. We enjoyed the neighborhood vibes along with the food and service! We ordered a bunch of food and shared everything (the Irish soda bread and butter were INSANE). Shrimp cocktail, burger, Irish soda bread, fish and chips, bucatini with clams, and the chocolate guinness cake. Everything was delicious and our server was very attentive! We will definitely be back!“

“Tasty and filling, but with a few caveats. There were three of us, and we ordered four dishes family-style. The portions were generous, and we left very full with leftovers.

Everything was good, although nothing was especially memorable for me. I’d rank the bulgogi (japchae) first, followed by the Snowing Cheese Potato Pancake, Grilled Spicy Chicken, and sashimi. The seaweed rolls with the sashimi were tasty, but the fish itself was just okay.

The potato pancake had a surprisingly stretchy, almost mochi-like texture. It was a little jarring at first because it wasn’t what I expected, but it was interesting, and I can see why some people love it. It’s also a bit bland without a sauce. I might order it again for the texture, although I still have mixed feelings about it.

The Grilled Spicy Chicken was barely spicy despite being specifically labeled that way. Even our spice-sensitive friends agreed, so offering different spice levels might help.

A few smaller issues also added up: the music was extremely loud, and the first-floor elevator area had a very strong smell with wet, sticky floors. Near the stairwell, there also appeared to be a trash can with a large reddish puddle underneath it.

Overall, the food was good and generously portioned, but I’m not sure I’d return.
