“The energy in this place is amazing. I just came in for an easy beer to relax for a bit and was actually blown away by this place. Hospitality is the name of game and they do it right! “We are never disappointed when we stop here when we visit NYC. Atmosphere and food is always fantastic and they make killer Manhattans. We just went for the 2023 Rockefeller tree and the staff was pleasant and accommodating. so happy they were decorated for the holidays. 100% go to in our opinion.“

“was able to snag a reservation easily on a wednesday night. It was exceptional contemporary take on Korean cuisine. perfectly fried monkfish and an incredibly crisp, flavorful fried soft-shell crab. A standout experiential highlight is the DIY scallop gimbap. For the mains, the duck bulgogi was our favorite: umami, savory, and sweet notes, all tied together with a deeply satisfying charred, smoky finish. The bread pudding that is wonderfully delicious without being overly sweet, followed by a gingery shaved ice that provides a sharp, refreshing palate cleanser“

“Unbeatable happy hour but uneven drink quality. First pina colada quite good — mild, not too sweet, had an interestingly refreshing cucumber and lime flavor. Second pina colada tasted like a different drink — liquid candy. I probably should have asked for a remake but it was just too crowded and hard to get bartender’s attention.“

“On vacation as a joke, we searched for "the worst bar near me" which led us to this amazing little place. We had the absolute best food! The waitstaff was attentive, fun, and helpful. Prices & portions were fair. The whole vibe of the area was low-key & pleasant with the dog-friendly patio, next door local shops, and other patrons. If these Wisconsintes find ourselves in Jersey City again, we will absolutely make a dedicated return to the Wurstbar!“

“The food was so good and service was very quick! Everything came out hot and our waters were also refilled. Walking in on a Saturday afternoon I was not prepared for a club like atmosphere. Music is very loud, and very dark inside, especially in the bathroom. I could barely talk to the person 1 foot in front of me. I’d probably recommend getting the food togo.“

“This past August, I had my daughter’s bridal shower at Sidebar. I made all my arrangements with Danny. It was a pleasure to work with him. Everything turned out great. The food was delicious, the drinks were great, the waiters and waitresses were very accommodating. Everyone had a great time. Don’t hesitate to have an event here!“

I ordered the Loaded Nachos for $17 and the amount they give you is insulting. I was excited to have a spot to regular for food and drinks but I might be avoiding their food till something is done.“

“We enjoyed eating at Blackwell's in Oct/Nov 2018 while visiting New York from Ireland. Ann Marie made us very welcome. Food was really nice and staff were very helpful. Hope to visit again if when visit New York again.“

“I had my birthday here such a great place to have any celebration, the food was amazing the wait time for the food was not too long, and The staff was friendly and willing to help making it special and enjoyable. The price was too high though that was the only thing that was the issue. But I recommend this place“
