lovely, calm environment and really good food and drinks! Ida's is a must-visit.
David took care of my fiancee and I and had amazing conversation. He was consistently asking us if we needed another round as soon as our glasses were finished. Every customer who walked in were greeted with the same courtesy. We came for the brunch but stayed for the convo. Its our new favorite place!

Ida's Nearabout in Sunnyside is a favorite among locals. The atmosphere is great, and the food and drinks are perfect. The staff provides exceptional service. The back patio is cozy and clean, making it a wonderful place to enjoy brunch. Vegetarian options like Buffalo Cauliflower and Grilled Broccolini are popular, and the restaurant offers a great selection of drinks, including hand-stuffed blue cheese olive dirty martinis and excellent espresso martinis. The seating is limited for tables, but there are plenty of seats at the bar. Ida's is a good place to hang out with friends and family. The delicious brunch and the fantastic Ida's Classic Burger Deluxe are not to be missed.
The dishes at Ida's Nearabout impress, and the staff treats customers with exceptional kindness. The blackened spicy chicken is delicious, fresh, and juicy, with avocados and a tasty chipotle-like sauce. The potato tots are crispy, making for an enjoyable quick dinner. The restaurant also deserves recognition for using stainless steel pots for serving condiments instead of wasting plastic. The back yard is beautiful, and the presentation and taste of the food, including the delicious Mr. Brownstone drink, make this a great brunch spot worth returning to.
