“Always promised myself on my next trip to NYC I would go to The Dead Rabbit. I am so pleased I got to do it. The staff the cocktails the food and the decor & cleanliness were A1. “Williamsburg was largely unimpressive until I tried this place. I was there for breakfast and their French toast is the best I've ever had so far. Not your typical toast where you pour syrup on top. This bread is perfectly moist and sweet and does not require syrup. There is a creme topping you can pour over that made for the perfect combo. There are so many places that claim best pancakes, best French toast, etc. French toast, here, is a must. Now I want to come back and see about the pancakes. For savory, we got the merguez omlette. I am not a huge sausage (the sausage not pork, might have been beef) fan, but this was really flavorful and I would absolutely order again. I am usually not excited about brunch, but this place does it for me. And, the ambiance is excellent. I love the exposed brick and overall decor. I could not stop commenting on how positive the experience was and how much I want to return. And, I am one of those people where virtually every place is forgettable except the ones that are not. This is my current #1 for breakfast/brunch until further notice. Highly recommend for all occasions (and that you make reservations in advance). Definitely going back soon!“

“5/24 Update, the restaurant invited me back for a meal to redeem their service. To be fair, the restaurant was busy for yellowtail season so understandable.

The food was amazing, we got the scallops rice, salon pasta, Wagyu ribs and the clam soup. I prob would do without the scallop rice for future but everything else hit the spot. Esp my favorite, the clam soup.

Thank you Won and the Capitan of the restaurant for taking care of us! I will definitely be back soon again.

“Worth a shot to go to! From the host to the server to the bartenders, everyone was friendly and efficient. Many people came by for the first times as well so not alone on that. Ordered Mary Pickford from the Happy Hour Menu and a Sun King from the In The Shallows Menu along with the Warm Cookie Trio. Would I come again? Yes! This time with friends and family.“

The food was beyond delectable—every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully prepared. And honestly, the food deserves to be mentioned twice because it was just that good.

The service struck the perfect balance between warm, welcoming hospitality and true professionalism. The atmosphere is the ideal blend of chic and rustic, creating a cozy yet elevated dining experience.

We had a small mix-up with our reservation, but the manager handled it graciously and quickly got everything sorted out, which made an already great experience even better.

Part of me wants to keep this gem a secret, but it’s too good not to share. Then again, I don’t think they’re hurting for customers—they were completely packed on a Monday evening, and after dining here, I can see exactly why.“

I would absolutely go back for the steak and potatoes alone! The scallop crudo could have used more balance on the acidity but that is my only note.“
