While having our starters waitress informs us they if we don’t mind them adding 2 of their customers to our table so that the same chef will cook for us together.The hibachi grill part only had another party with us being the second & all other tables were empty. We told her we don’t feel comfortable with that and reminded her we are here for a party. So she comes back telling us her manager said it will have to be that way and we left. I can’t be believe that lost 5 customers over 2 and they even had the nerve to tell us to move over for them to add 2 people we didn’t know to our table. If the tables were all full we would have understood why but the whole place was empty. I would never recommend this place to anyone”

The Hot Stone Wagyu added a nice touch as an interactive experience, cooking to perfection right at the table. The Crab Cake (one of the best you'll find) and Octopus Ragu both with simple and complex flavors while the Eggplant Ravioli melts in your mouth. For Dessert, do not, and I mean, do not, sleep on the Taro Crepe Cake, you won't believe the magic that happens in your mouth when enjoying this decadent sweet dream!”

The biryani is to die for. The chicken 65 will have you licking your fingers and even their chicken over rice is amazing. Prices are reasonable.. Tastes like real authentic home cooked food! Highly highly recommended! You won’t be disappointed.

“I usually go for their ice cream but today I decided to try their namesake. I got an açai bowl and a crepe and they were both very good. The açai is one of the best I’ve had on the island and the crepe was large enough that I couldn’t finish it.
My only criticisms are for the price of the açai bowl, the bowl should be filled up. As shown in the pictures, not even a quarter of açai filling the bowl is not acceptable when every other place fills the bowl. Including the toppings, only half the bowl was filled. The worker was very sweet and accommodated me when I told them but it was inferred that this is standard procedure when making them.
Another thing is that store times are inconsistent. I have been here since their opening years ago and the times have always been inconsistent. Google maps shows 8am but they do not open until 9am. This is an issue at the other location too as I was there at 10am recently and it was closed.”

“My daughter had her prom on staten island. I needed a place for dinner while my husband and I waited. Googled and found Angel's Tavern. We invited a friend to join us. Haven't seen her in 10 years. We were there from 630 to close catching up and the staff never rushed us out. They were so nice and pleasant. We ordered fried calamari and the salad with mango and goat cheese. Both were delicious. I ordered the fish special which was monkfish, clams and mussels over pasta with red sauce. My husband had the bronzini and our friend had the salmon. Everything was delicious and the portions were very generous. The only reason that I didn't give this place 5 stars is because the sauce in my entree was too salty as was the sauce on the salmon. If that was fixed, this place can't be beat.”

The food was amazing!!! Our family kept raving over how delicious everything was. Course after course, one dish after another, just delicious. It was not too long, which is good because the reservation was for 6:30 pm and everybody was hungry. Appetizers were delicious especially both types of calmers. 3 people ordered NYS trip stakes. OMG! All 3 stakes were stingy. Nobody finished the stake. Medium and well done came up the same. Black color even tongue was black after eating the steak. It's because when cooked the steak did not clean the grail. Also, I recommend checking your receipt. We found 3 items that we did not get on the table for a total of almost $80. One of them we never ordered, and two newer ones were delivered to the table.”

They also overplay the birthday song - every time we go, we hear it at least once every 20-40 minutes. Other than that, this is a fantastic place to eat, and I highly recommend it”

Before finding out that I can have all of this, I was losing a massive amount of weight, thank God for the few things that I can have here, I’m able to maintain my weight now. I just tend to go a bit crazy with what I can eat because I’m so hungry from not really eating the other days. The workers are amazing. The manager, Justin is really nice and very funny. The owner Darin is also very nice. Love the atmosphere and the music, I still can’t eat the other things and the smells from the other foods still bother me but I deal with it just so I can eat what I’m actually enjoying there.
