While having our starters waitress informs us they if we don’t mind them adding 2 of their customers to our table so that the same chef will cook for us together.The hibachi grill part only had another party with us being the second & all other tables were empty. We told her we don’t feel comfortable with that and reminded her we are here for a party. So she comes back telling us her manager said it will have to be that way and we left. I can’t be believe that lost 5 customers over 2 and they even had the nerve to tell us to move over for them to add 2 people we didn’t know to our table. If the tables were all full we would have understood why but the whole place was empty. I would never recommend this place to anyone”

“One of my new favorite sushi places. The lunch specials are great. The specialty rolls are always buy 2 get the 3rd free. It's small inside to sit, and parking can be a little bit of a pain, but it's worth it. Looking forward to warm weather to sit outside when I go.”

“I love this place. They always have great and fresh food. My favorite has to be the vegetable ramen. It’s so delicious, their chicken wings are flavorful and guns texture is pretty good. I love their bubble tea as well. I order through Uber eats majority of the time, I wonder if I can directly order from this restaurant though. I think I’ll find that out. Today I ordered the matcha green tea bubble tea, usually I order the mango milk bubble tea. They must remember because Uber gave me a complimentary mango bubble tea. This place is highly recommended by me. 10 stars”

“Shop Smart is an amazing neighborhood store. The staff is friendly, the place is always clean, and the food is consistently fresh. Their hot Italian bread and homemade fresh mozzarella are honestly some of the best you’ll find anywhere. They also do incredible catering — everything arrives fresh, well-prepared, and delicious. “Lee’s Tavern is a staple on Staten Island, and for good reason. The pizzas are among the crown jewels of Staten Island, and the bar itself is just a classic, cozy, hole in the wall kind of place.

We had fried calamari, an Italian shredded pork hero, a white clam pie, and a regular pie (half with sweet peppers). The calamari was great. It was fried perfectly and the hot marinara sauce was really good with a nice kick. The pork hero was very basic, and though it lacked a bit in flavor, the ingredients all tasted very fresh and the cheese was melted very nicely, I enjoyed it quite a bit. The pies at Lee’s speak for themselves. The white clam pie is delicious, it’s a perfect balance of garlic, cheese, and that classic Italian clam taste. The regular pie is also just so fundamentally perfect. It’s crisp, thin, and the sauce is perfect.

The service at Lee’s is also exceptional with extremely friendly staff. My only complaint would be that Lee’s is cash only, though they do have an ATM inside. The pizza more than makes up for the cash only rule though.”

Our server, Moe, was friendly and very efficient; he makes your dining experience error-free so you can relax and enjoy the meal. The Manager here gets credit for a well-run ship! He really appreciates the customers and it shows. You will definitely want to eat here frequently. Great service, tasty food, relaxed atmosphere - you won't be disappointed.”

“I had a birthday party for my daughter here. In all we were about 20 guests. Kim and husband created a special menu for the occasion. It was absolutely amazing! Everyone raved about how delicious everything was. We had cold antipasto, rice balls, eggplant rollatini, calamari, chicken wings and pizza. There was so much food! I highly recommend Ungaro for any occasion or just dinner which is how I came about going there in the first place. Thank you again for a wonderful, memorable occasion!”

“Visited a restaurant for the birthday party in May 2022. Clean, welcomed staff, good service, a lot of parking on the street. We placed an order. It was not too long, which is good because the reservation was for 6:30 pm and everybody was hungry. Appetizers were delicious especially both types of calmers. 3 people ordered NYS trip stakes. OMG! All 3 stakes were stingy. Nobody finished the stake. Medium and well done came up the same. Black color even tongue was black after eating the steak. It's because when cooked the steak did not clean the grail. Also, I recommend checking your receipt. We found 3 items that we did not get on the table for a total of almost $80. One of them we never ordered, and two newer ones were delivered to the table.”

“Sometimes, you don’t need a trendy hotspot—you just need a place where the coffee is hot, the portions are generous, and breakfast is served all day. That’s exactly what I was looking for during a recent visit to IHOP.

Walking in, there’s an immediate sense of familiarity. IHOP has that comforting, no-frills atmosphere where families, friends, and solo diners all feel at home. It’s dependable—and sometimes, that’s exactly what you want.

I went with the classics: pancakes, eggs, and a side of bacon. The pancakes were the highlight—light, fluffy, and perfectly golden, soaking up syrup just right without falling apart. The eggs were cooked well, and the bacon struck that nice balance between crispy and tender.

Coffee, as always, played an important role. It was rich, warm, and exactly what you expect from a classic breakfast spot, with refills keeping the table going.

Service, however, was a bit of a different story. Visiting on Palm Sunday, the restaurant was noticeably busier than usual, which seemed to impact the overall experience. While the staff remained polite, service was slower and less attentive than one might hope. It’s understandable given the holiday crowd, but it did take away slightly from an otherwise enjoyable meal.

What stands out most about IHOP is its consistency. It doesn’t try to reinvent breakfast—it simply delivers it. Even on a busy holiday, the food held its standard, which says a lot.

IHOP may not be a culinary revelation, but it remains a reliable go-to for comfort food and familiar flavors—just perhaps not at peak holiday hours.

The only thing I’d warn people about is if you plan to pay in cash — make sure you bring at least $10. Sometimes the in-app price doesn’t match exactly when you get to the store, so you might need a little extra. Besides that, it’s a great app and makes ordering Crumbl a lot easier.”

“Picked up food at Muzi for the first time and was really impressed by how fresh the sushi was and even got a kitchen app (beef negamaki) that was likewise fresh and tasty - too often sushi places that also have kitchen food have meat that isn't the freshest but that wasn't the case at Muzi. Order was ready in very reasonable time (2 sushi chefs were working), service was friendly and they even have a few comfortable booths and tables for folks that want to eat there. Highly recommend. Parking is decent in the lot at that strip mall but watch out for the potholes :-)”

“We visited Staten Island for the day from Pennsylvania, and were looking for a dessert spot after eating lunch and found Yallah Habibi Desserts on Apple Maps.

We chose to come here just based off the name of the establishment and the photos of the menu. We’ve never seen desserts like this and decided to give it a try.

The gentlemen working there explained the desserts were Syrian Cuisine and explained each of the options. We chose to get the Mixed Fruit Koshari, which is a rice pudding based dessert, it was so fresh, light, and flavorful! Best dessert I could say I’ve had in a long time!
