“The food is absolutely phenomenal and authentic Peruvian cuisine. The wait is a bit longer than one would hope but it’s because the food is fresh and the portions very filling! I swing by as often as I can when I’m on Staten Island. I love it!“

just leaving a review to mention the brasa sauce on my bowl was EXTREMELY salty

since most of the components are already well seasoned the sauce could pack less of a salinity punch“

The chef was so kind and shared a slice of their new chocolate/dulce cake with us and it was wonderful. Highly recommend this spot!“

“My wife and I decided to stop by there today for our 1st time ever and try their Breakfast. The place is very cozy, clean and very nice looking inside. The owner was very friendly and is true to his heritage. I had the Lomo al jugo con pan- so delicious with amazing flavor. My wife had un tamal de pollo- nice size portion and delicious. “Good food, limited communication due to the staff have limited English. The dining area was small, very crowded. Food served pretty fast eventhough they need to redo my order because the waiter took the wrong order. Overall foods are delicious.“

“Manager was awesome! I ordered the Lomo and it was 22.00, I thought it would be a small serving, and then I saw this platter with ton of lomo on it! I have big hands so that goes to show much food there was and the Onions were delish with their green sauce. I ate for two days on it and of course the Inca Kola is a classic, Best soda around.“

“I was in town to visit to see cats at Rahway Kitty Hall. This restaurant is right next store. I stopped into get something to eat. I was impressed with the ambience of the restaurant. My Spanish is not so great, but the staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The food I had was very good. I am interested in people from other cultures and their food. I will surely go there again and try another dish.“

“The food is amazing , I’ve tried many Peruvian spots in the Elizabeth / linden / Rahway areas and this place has the best of them all , great flavor to the food the portions are big and it’s affordable , only bad side is that they never answer the phone which is a huge issue because you have to go in person to order which is very time consuming. You sometimes have to call 10 times to get someone to pick up“

“My experience here was good. I loved the food. I tried a little bit of everything they had like the ribs, rice, and soup. The restaurant is tiny inside but they do have enough tables if you prefer to eat inside. I’m not sure what the theme or culture of the place is, all I know it’s hispanic. If you’re in the neighborhood come check this place out!“

“If you want to taste authentic Peruvian food this is your to go place. 100% recommended!! My family and I constantly go but today we had Chupe de Camarones (it was amazing), saltado de pescado and pescado a lo macho. Everything was perfect but the Chupe was on point. We even order another one for later! . Great service and we even got to know the cook named “ El mono”, nice and friendly. Very clean and great environment.“

“The food tastes good, just a pinch of salt to much, but not bad. The employees are great and friendly. The place is very clean as well as the men's room.
The only problem I had was finding a parking spot, and being that we just had a snow blizzard didn't help. They do own a piece of lot down the street where people can park, but it's like a block away.
Other than that, everything else is fine.
I hope this helps you decide. I know that I will be returning after all the snow is gone.“
