This is the best peruvian spot in jersey!
I always get my food to go but it is delicious. Especially the fried rice(vegetables, chicken, shrimp and beef) plus the have combo. But I have not had one bad experience with any food on the menu.

Based on the reviews, Hugo's Restaurant Rahway is a Peruvian restaurant with really large portions, reasonable prices, and pleasant outdoor seating. The energy is fun and it is a great spot for casual dining. Many say it is one of the best local spots, and the food is always fresh and made with care. The Leche de Tigre is excellent, the shrimp is perfect, and the Chupé de Camarones and Lomo Saltado are delicious. The rotisserie chicken has nice flavor. However, some dishes like the Chaufa especial had hard beef and the tellerin verde had no flavor. Service can be a bit slow, and while some waitresses are friendly and knowledgeable, the service outside tends to suffer. There is a recurring issue with double charges on receipts, and staff can seem annoyed when asked for extra green sauce and corn nuts.
