“I was in town to visit to see cats at Rahway Kitty Hall. This restaurant is right next store. I stopped into get something to eat. I was impressed with the ambience of the restaurant. My Spanish is not so great, but the staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The food I had was very good. I am interested in people from other cultures and their food. I will surely go there again and try another dish.“

“My wife and I decided to stop by there today for our 1st time ever and try their Breakfast. The place is very cozy, clean and very nice looking inside. The owner was very friendly and is true to his heritage. I had the Lomo al jugo con pan- so delicious with amazing flavor. My wife had un tamal de pollo- nice size portion and delicious. Can wait to go back 5 ++++ Stars from us.“

“Absolutely incredible experience! The food was fresh, authentic, and bursting with flavor. Every dish had that perfect balance of seasoning that Peruvian cuisine is known for. The ceviche was bright and delicious, the lomo saltado was cooked perfectly, and the sauces were out of this world.

The service was fast, warm, and genuinely welcoming — you can tell the staff takes pride in what they do. The restaurant itself was clean, stylish, and had a great atmosphere.

Overall, one of the best Peruvian meals I’ve ever had. Highly recommended, and definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!“

“Good food, limited communication due to the staff have limited English. The dining area was small, very crowded. Food served pretty fast eventhough they need to redo my order because the waiter took the wrong order. Overall foods are delicious.“

“The food is amazing , I’ve tried many Peruvian spots in the Elizabeth / linden / Rahway areas and this place has the best of them all , great flavor to the food the portions are big and it’s affordable , only bad side is that they never answer the phone which is a huge issue because you have to go in person to order which is very time consuming. You sometimes have to call 10 times to get someone to pick up“

“If you’re looking for clean, fresh food that won’t drain your wallet, this spot is a great choice. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the staff are always welcoming. It can get pretty busy since it’s popular, but the wait is definitely worth it. Only thing missing would be fresh juices, adding those would take it to the next level.“

“The food was absolutely delicious. For the portions the prices are very fair. The place is quite small but the food makes up for it for sure. We got our food pretty quickly as well which is always nice. We got anticuchos, pescado a lo macho, mostrito, and passion fruit juice.“

The restaurant is tiny inside but they do have enough tables if you prefer to eat inside. I’m not sure what the theme or culture of the place is, all I know it’s hispanic. “I came here for the first time and I'm just now rolling out. I had the pescado a la pobre! The fish was cooked to perfection 👌 crispy and fluffy 😋. I also ordered pasta a la huancaina! It was also delicious! I couldn't finish it but I know I can still enjoy this meal later. The service is friendly and attentive! I so missed a good peruvian spot! My family and I constantly go but today we had Chupe de Camarones (it was amazing), saltado de pescado and pescado a lo macho. Everything was perfect but the Chupe was on point. We even order another one for later! . Great service and we even got to know the cook named “ El mono”, nice and friendly. Very clean and great environment.“
