“I walked in on a whim and was greeted with open arms and an education into what Peruvian food is traditionally and how fantastic it is. There were so many possible options that I couldn't decide. I ended up with the ceviche combo plate, and wow! I will definitely be back next time I'm in town.“
“I've been here 3 times now and I must say this place is amazing. Normally I've had the lunch specials which comes with a soup and drink but this time me and my wife split a ceviche mixto and Lomo saltado. If you love Peruvian food just put down the phone and go, no serious go. Amazing spot that you will not be disappointed in.The ceviche was light and super filling and honestly perfect. The Lomo was the opposite, hardy and filling the meat was super tender and the sauce was just right. Don't pass up this opportunity. Salud!“
“Best Peruvian food you can find in Harrison/Kearny ,Central Jeresy ! Service is great very homie and now has an outside seating which is great for nice weather days! Also tried the delivery service and was very quick has a wide range in delivery locations! It’s a must try for your Peruvian cuisine ??“
“Had lunch yesterday. Great food, each serving would def serve two!! And we even got to bring some home. We had the mixed chaufa and chicken Milanese. If you’re looking for a good home style tasty food, and you’re around, that’s your choice. Also bring cash, they don’t take any other payment method.“
“I got the pollo a la brasa and it’s a little more expensive than leña y carbón but worth it! Their chicken is not dry like other places I’ve tried before, it’s very nice and juicy and their spicy sauce is like no other this is my favorite chicken “
“1st time going to this restaurant. I was truly amazed. I ordered the bbq whole chicken, sides ensalda and chaufa. It came with a variety of sauces. All of them were so good. Chicken was well seasoned and moist. That chaufa was a surprise. Perfectly seasoned and not dry. Only complaint. Place was well staffed. Made no sense not to have a greeter up front to direct people where to go.“
“Excellent time at this quaint stylish restaurant. Not super familiar with Peruvian food but they had excellent flavors and enjoyed the overall experience. Thought the rice was a bit salty for my taste but each dish came out super aesthetic. As others have reviewed prior, the ceviche was a highlight and would definitely return for it. I would say that the service of the staff was all top notch and made our dinner really pleasant; just make sure to refill waters as I didn't get a refill until end of dining session upon request. Only about a dozen tables so make reservations. Well worth the effort if you're in the area“
“The food was artistically presented and delicious. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Ambiance casual yet classy. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves in terms of the absolute artistry this place has in presentation of its delicious food.“
“This is a complete taste of authentic Peruvian food! All my experiences here have been with takeout. Calling to place an order is always prompt and accurate. Pick up isn't ever more than 20 minutes for food to be ready. The weekends seem to be the busiest as tables are filled with customers. Walking in on the weekends, you'll be walking into classic Peruvian music and/or modern Spanish music. The llama upon entrance is a nice touch to its culture and opportunity for a nice photo. Most importantly, thumbs up to the fresh seafood used for their ceviche mixto. Don't forget to add the papa ha la huancaina as a side dish. Overall, I find the prices here fair for the quality and quantity of what they serve.“
