“Food here is truly exceptional. I’ve visited countless times, both on my own and with family and it remains one of my absolute favorite restaurants. Every dish I’ve ordered has been consistently outstanding. I can honestly say I’ve never left disappointed.

The atmosphere, however, can be hit or miss for me. It tends to get a bit loud at times. While some guests may enjoy the live music or small performances, I personally find that it detracts slightly from the overall dining experience. Still, the quality and consistency of the food easily keep me coming back.“

“Absolutely incredible experience! The food was fresh, authentic, and bursting with flavor. Every dish had that perfect balance of seasoning that Peruvian cuisine is known for. The ceviche was bright and delicious, the lomo saltado was cooked perfectly, and the sauces were out of this world.

The service was fast, warm, and genuinely welcoming — you can tell the staff takes pride in what they do. The restaurant itself was clean, stylish, and had a great atmosphere.

Overall, one of the best Peruvian meals I’ve ever had. Highly recommended, and definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!“

“I was visiting from Los Angeles to see a Red Bulls vs LA Galaxy and on our way to our meet up, We walked into to Rocky's for some lunch. It was a very nice place. The staff was really nice and the food was delicious. I loved the hospitality and hope to come back soon.“

“I got the pollo a la brasa and it’s a little more expensive than leña y carbón but worth it! Their chicken is not dry like other places I’ve tried before, it’s very nice and juicy and their spicy sauce is like no other this is my favorite chicken “

“Today is the first time my wife and I tried the food at Leña y Carbón. We sat in a booth and instantly received attention from the staff with pleasant interaction. The food was truly amazing from the frozen drinks to the choices of food. “This place has hands down some of the best Peruvian food in NJ. So far everything I’ve tried has been carefully crafted and tastes absolutely amazing. They’ve recently rolled out a new lucuma dessert with marshmallow and chocolate flakes, and much like the rest of the menu, it does not disappoint. Huge shout out to Juana and Justin, even though the place absolutely packed, they were always checking in on us making sure we felt at home and had everything we needed. Can’t recommend this spot enough.“

“I tried the tuna ceviche today via delivery. It was very good. The fish was truly the best part. The other flavors and textures were new to me, but I very much enjoyed them. I will order again for a lunch treat. Also the ceviche was super affordable, under $20 even after delivery fees and a filling portion size.“

“Our first time at L'Punto and definitely not our last. My partner and I came in not knowing what to expect and left completely satisfied.

We started with the Martini Amazónico – refreshing and unique, the perfect way to kick things off. Then we shared the Arroz con Mariscos Acevichado, which was absolutely delicious – generous seafood, fresh flavors, and that citrus touch was on point. Finished with a sangria that hit the spot.

The service was excellent – attentive without being overbearing. You can tell they take pride in what they do. We'll definitely be back regularly.

If you're in the Moonachie/Little Ferry area and craving authentic Peruvian food, this is the spot.“

“You can never go wrong with a lomo saltado or a classic, original and how it’s supposed to be made, ceviche. The flavors were out of this world. Meat was cooked perfectly, sauce was perfect. The fettuccini with the homemade sauce was ridiculous. Gonna try making it at home for sure!! The ceviche was really good, the puréed sweet potato was a nice touch. Wish i had a bit more of a portion but all in all, very very good!“

“Went to Pisco de Mar for an early birthday celebration with friends and had a great time! Started with the croquetas de aji de gallina which were DELICIOUS!

I had the entraña a lo pobre, my fiancé had the jalea, and my friends had the Camarones Inka and the Arroz Chaufa con Pollo. Everything was really good, fresh, and dint take long to come out.

Had their chicha and it was nice too, very cinnamon forward. Finished the nice with a few different desserts including the tres leches and the flan!

Overall, the vibes were great, the staff was really friendly and attentive, and the food was a 10/10!“
