“Can I please give it 6 stars? I recently went there with a group of five family members while visiting New Jersey and we had a truly extraordinary night! As an investor in restaurants I'm very critical when visiting any restaurant and not often impressed even with well known critically acclaimed restaurants. It's very rare when a place has truly incredible food with every appetizer and entree as well as first class VIP vibes for service. You could literally taste the passion and care put into every plate with beautifully prepared flavorful abundant meals. In fact, it was the first time in almost a decade I brought home leftovers as the meal was delicious and easily sufficient for two people. Our entire table raved about their meals and the attentive but not obtrusive service was always there to refill our wine and assist without any of us having to look up for service. The food alone would have made for a great night but what truly made it memorable besides the great waitstaff was the manager, Eli. When was the last time a manager, GM or owner greated you at your table to share a polite, interesting and passionate conversation about the food and why they love sharing this experience with their valued customers? He made our entire table feel like VIPs and made perfect recommendations for wine and dessert. It felt more like we were in someone's home as we were there for close to 3-1/2 hours talking, eating, drinking and laughing. The ambiance is warm and unpretentious and the memories of a great experience will certainly bring us back again.”

We decided to go to this place on a whim and it turned out to be one of the best decisions ever. The atmosphere was incredible. Everyone in there was so cool and the bartender was fantastic and very helpful. She recommended the Jack Daniels burger so we both went with it. When I tell you we both dreamed about this burger for our entire trip. We ended up going back to this place two more times. It was such a great local place with great people. I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re ever in the area go there and get the Jack Daniels burger. Talk to the locals. Have a pint and enjoy the vibes. 5/5. 10/10. Incredible.”

I actually found them because they’re always driving around our neighborhood, and everyone gets excited when they hear that music coming down the street. So when it came time to book an ice cream truck, choosing Danny’s was a no-brainer. The service was super friendly, the ice cream was delicious, and the whole setup added such a fun vibe to our event. All of our guests, kids and adults loved it! Danny was punctual, easy to work with, and made everything feel effortless.”

Plus it was open face, a really unique touch, served with crunchy pickles, sauerkraut and yummy fries. A feast for sure! My family for sunny side eggs (perfectly cooked) with crispy bacon and pancakes. They were super happy, said it was delicious. The location is perfect for a meal near Newark airport. The service was great, food was served nice and hot, place was clean. And you get that cool New Jersey diner vibe with leather booths and cool bar seating. The only problem I had was finding a parking spot, and being that we just had a snow blizzard didn't help. They do own a piece of lot down the street where people can park, but it's like a block away.
Other than that, everything else is fine.

However what I don't like is that because at night its two different vibes/events, one downstairs and one upstairs you had to pay separately for both instead of one price and getting to switch between the two because then you are stuck if you don't like the music of the spot you picked. We went downstairs. It was mostly reggaeton, nee and old school and dembow, which is fine but they told us they were going to be mixing music but we barely got any merengue bachata or salsa. I had to beg the DJ 4 times for bachata”

As an investor in restaurants I'm very critical when visiting any restaurant and not often impressed even with well known critically acclaimed restaurants. It's very rare when a place has truly incredible food with every appetizer and entree as well as first class VIP vibes for service. You could literally taste the passion and care put into every plate with beautifully prepared flavorful abundant meals. In fact, it was the first time in almost a decade I brought home leftovers as the meal was delicious and easily sufficient for two people. Our entire table raved about their meals and the attentive but not obtrusive service was always there to refill our wine and assist without any of us having to look up for service. The food alone would have made for a great night but what truly made it memorable besides the great waitstaff was the manager, Eli. When was the last time a manager, GM or owner greated you at your table to share a polite, interesting and passionate conversation about the food and why they love sharing this experience with their valued customers? He made our entire table feel like VIPs and made perfect recommendations for wine and dessert. It felt more like we were in someone's home as we were there for close to 3-1/2 hours talking, eating, drinking and laughing. The ambiance is warm and unpretentious and the memories of a great experience will certainly bring us back again.”

The waitresses provide good service, but sometimes the food takes a while to arrive — understandable since the place can get busy.
If you’re a burger lover, you should try the Caleña or Caleñita — it’s sweet and savory, with a delicious sauce. It doesn’t come with fries, but you can add them! This time, I chose to add papa criolla (also known as yellow potatoes here).

I was a little concerned that there were no other nearby restaurants to the hotel, so I decided to try the TKP Bar & Grill within the hotel. The restaurant was small and had limited food options. However, Willie the bartender was very nice and my Caesar salad with salmon was very good. The salmon was crispy on the outside and tender inside, so I was pleasantly surprised at my great meal inside the hotel. Thanks Willie and the kitchen staff for a nice evening!”
