“Can I please give it 6 stars? I recently went there with a group of five family members while visiting New Jersey and we had a truly extraordinary night! As an investor in restaurants I'm very critical when visiting any restaurant and not often impressed even with well known critically acclaimed restaurants. It's very rare when a place has truly incredible food with every appetizer and entree as well as first class VIP vibes for service. You could literally taste the passion and care put into every plate with beautifully prepared flavorful abundant meals. In fact, it was the first time in almost a decade I brought home leftovers as the meal was delicious and easily sufficient for two people. Our entire table raved about their meals and the attentive but not obtrusive service was always there to refill our wine and assist without any of us having to look up for service. The food alone would have made for a great night but what truly made it memorable besides the great waitstaff was the manager, Eli. When was the last time a manager, GM or owner greated you at your table to share a polite, interesting and passionate conversation about the food and why they love sharing this experience with their valued customers? He made our entire table feel like VIPs and made perfect recommendations for wine and dessert. It felt more like we were in someone's home as we were there for close to 3-1/2 hours talking, eating, drinking and laughing. The ambiance is warm and unpretentious and the memories of a great experience will certainly bring us back again.”

Service was incredible, friendly, and attentive. We did go at an off peak time, so we got extra special service. However, I think at any time the service would be top notch.

The cocktails were excellent. Extremely balanced, delicious and amazingly seasonal.

The food was soooo good. I had the short rib special and I highly recommend it while it’s available. Absolutely delicious and the best short rib dish I’ve had.

“We went to Rumi for a birthday lunch the food, smoothies and desserts were delicious. Our kids who typically eat butter pasta loved everything that was served. We also didn’t mind that they tasted all the desserts since they were just right and not extra sugary! Beyond the yummy food, the family friendly atmosphere put everything over the top. Our son was walking table to table and one of the owners came and picked my son up and walked around with him so we could enjoy our coffee ! “I had an appointment on Bay Area & had r have any breakfast. It was already after 2 pm & was very hungry . So I searched it up if there is any halal restaurant near me. I found this one, didn't even realized it existed until today . I don't live around that area & barely come to this part of the island . Upon asking I have found out that they had been open more than 6 months ! But it's never too late to try a new restaurant & get surprised!

Tell you the truth Turkish food isn't my regular food, but I do love it. There are so much I gotta try still & that's the exciting part !

So when I came in was seated right away. I decided to try something new which I never tried before. So ordered lentil soup, lamb chop & tried their spicy Mock-tail. It was soo good !
Lentil soup was ok, lamb chop was yummy, it was my first time trying lamb chop actually & because they had 2 different portions size I was able to order for me. I am so glad I did ! Altho it was only 2 pieces but it comes with rice, bread & salad. Very filling ! Then I had to order a dessert called Kunafe & it was so yummy !and of course I can't finish without trying some tea or coffee. So I tried the Turkish tea! After all this exciting food I was soo full but I will definitely be back !

The place is not that big but cozy! Restroom was beautiful & clean. Customer service was good, everyone does not speak English well & I don't speak their language! It did took some patience for both of us to communicate lol__
