“We got the mixed grill for two. It was delicious, we picked 4 sides and ordered beans, rice, salad and fried yuca. All the food was spot on. We loved the chimichuri sauce as well. Our server was very polite and attentive. We were entertained by the playlist of CCR classics and the BeeGees. Will be back.”

“I normally go to the hook n reel in Bayonne. This place is way BETTER! & when I tell you my waiter/bartender SANDOR made it a pleasant lunch for me and my cousin , I tell no lie . “Was a cute charming restaurant. I liked that the dishes changed. The food was good, I loved the spaghetti with locally grown mushrooms. My guest were not such a fan of their dishes, the ravioli was good but felt a little bland according them. The braised lamb shank was tender, but the flavors didn’t wow them. The dessert ware delicious, I would come back for that.Again I’m glad their menu changes seasonally so you have a reason to come back.”

“My boyfriend made reservations to Del Porto to celebrate my 43rd Birthday. This was our 1st time visiting this restaurant. The restaurant is nicely decorated and very clean. The staff are all nice especially our server Fermin. He was very pleasant and always had a warm smile. Our food was very delicious from the appetizer, crispy eggplant ,to my main course Bronzino and to my Tahitian Creme Brulee desert. I loved this restaurant and my experience here. “My friends and I drove here from queens for Iftar. When we arrived we were told they were all booked and could not seat us. Once they heard we came all this way from NY they called us back and went to make extra chairs just so they can make some space for us to eat! Really appreciated their accommodations for us. The place was packed and roo Afzal water was passed around for Iftar. You order your food at the front register and they bring the food to your table. Both the hangry burger and gappa chaat were really good. Definitely recommend.”

“Don't sleep on visiting Fava. The food here is amazing! We had a trio of spreads and the lamb empanadas and both were incredible. But the best part of our lunch were the cocktails. The Fava margarita is a delightful play on a Caribbean margarita and the spritzes were fabulous. The cucumber one is like springtime in a glass! I'd drive up from Philly just to eat here!”

First of all, thank you so much to Joe and the girls in the front for getting us seated despite our tardiness to our reservation. So grateful for that! I felt like they really wanted us there and were so empathetic. Second of all, THE bartender Kai (spelling) is a legend. That foamy drink and the pretty pink one…. Woah. Outstanding!!! Thirdly, the pizza was obviously off the hook. They told us the clam calzone was taking a bit long because of the dough and how they needed to get it just right, and man you could really taste the technique and effort and attention to detail that was taken with that calzone. Gobsmacked… and the pizzas, dear god. Hazelnut pizza blew us away because it was just such an elite pairing of the nut with the cheese and dough. Lest we forget the special pizza which was spinach and a garlic confit — have you ever seen the movie ratatouille? You know the scene where he tries the ratatouille and has a flashback to his childhood? The whole time, that was me. Literally cannot express what an awesome experience this was from start to finish.
