“Ive been there about 8 times and its AWESOME! Service is good, the food is fabulous, I've never had a bad meal yet. I also find the manager to be very charming. Its somewhat more expensive than our locals, but if you dont overdo it on the alcohol its still reasonable for an upscale place-which is what we need here. There is not a bad thing to say about this place and I am happy that Bayonne finally has a restaurant with some sophistication. I'll continue to go just to support them if you haven't gone, go and give it a try.”

“We have been coming to Piccolinos Restaurtant in Bayonne for years. My father loved the veal and the great service our family received from the staff. It would only be fitting to host his repass there and when we called Byron to let him know he passed, he quickly helped my family with arrangements to host our family and friends in their private room. The food was cooked to order, absolutely delicious and the service our family and friends received from the staff was impeccable! Mostly everyone had to try the his favorite dish, the" veal martini" and loved it. The Wanko family would like to take this opportunity to send our sincere thanks to Byron, Jackie, Angelo, Juan Carlos, David, Yahir for their outstanding service to attention and delicious menu cooked to order on such a sad occassion. “Hosted a birthday party for about 28 people including kids. The service staff was attentive and responsive to emails and to my calls when I had questions. Here are pictures. The food that we ordered from the party package #2 was terrific. We brought our sound bar to play music from my own playlist. There is an option to have music provided by the bar/restaurant if you want. I would return to host another party. Much recommended.”

Fried rice was tasty, I'd definitely order it again. The rolls were so fresh, and added a little extra something I haven't seen in other places. The fact that it was this good delivery, I'm sure it's even better eating in house. Will be a repeat customer for sure.”

“My girlfriend and myself, retired Philadelphia Police Officers were going on a cruise on 9/12/24 out of Cape Liberty. We arrived early and were looking for a cup of coffee and a quick breakfast. Luckily we picked Une Tasse Cafe, the coffee was fantastic and the breakfast wraps and pastries were delicious. The owner was warm and welcoming and introduced us to her dog, who actually let me pet him. I wish this restaurant was closer to where we live, coffee that good is hard to find. I just ordered two pounds on their web site so that I can enjoy it at home. Hopefully on our next cruise we will stop there again.”

“I use to live at 66 Rutgers, Umi was the best place for Sushi. Every evening after school, me and ma would spend our money on Sushi. I always get Spicy Crab Meat and it was perfect. It’s not too spicy but was just enough to satisfy your taste buds. The atmosphere was calm and collected, unless you place an order ahead of time, it can take about 30 minutes, but for me, the wait was worth it. In fact, for how long I went there for sushi, I forgot they also served wings. I didn’t get them personally, but I heard great things about them. “Teddys Place is THEE PLACE! Greek-American restaurant located in Bayonne, NJ just off Broadway and boy do they know Greek cooking! Some of the best I’ve had and believe me this is no place dressed as a Trojan horse- I had to say it-anyway the food is phenomenal, they give you more than you’ll be able to eat in one sitting, the staff is super nice and friendly and the atmosphere is casual as expected. I’ll give them a B+ for prices as it is a little pricey but completely worth the quality of food they serve. At busy times parking can be a little tricky because there’s no parking lot just street parking. The moussaka - best ever! The Athenian fries out of this world as well as their salads and desserts. This is a must go and a must go AGAIN!

The pizza reminded me of something you get at a carnival. The wings are tiny and hard. Although she was quick with service I noticed the bartender never made eye contact with me and after awhile it seemed on purpose. I do not recommend this bar, not sure why it suggests that above when I clicked NO several times. Really cold beer is all they have to offer.”

They do not normally cater but they put together a lunch for us for our friends at the Rutland City Clerk's office. Truly so grateful for their efforts. “I have visited Charley’s Bayonne twice and both times I had a positive experience.

The first time I was there I dined-in. They have a huge dine in area with lots of tables. The order was ready within 10 minutes and my wife and I enjoyed our Philly cheesesteaks.

I downloaded their app and created an account which gave me a $5 credit for my next purchase so I ordered through the app and picked up. This time I ordered a Bacon Cheesesteak which was also tasty. As soon as I arrived (approximately 10 minutes after I had placed the order) the order was ready and properly packed with each cheesesteak in a separate box (much better than Subway’s packaging). I also ordered a side of cheese sauce but I do not recommend it. It was cold and tasteless, much different than Wendy’s cheese sauce.

Both times I visited were on a weekend early afternoon and both times the place was dead. I’m not sure if it gets busier later or during weekdays but I hope this business survives because I definitely recommend it.

You can expect to pay between 8 and 13 for your cheesesteak depending on the size. They also offer wings and other types of sandwiches.”

“I moved to Bayonne 12 years ago and I’ve walked past this restaurant so many times. So many other pizza restaurants come highly regarded so I never really gave La Guardiola a try. I do have a few “go to” spots in town for pizza and wings night. After recent disappointments with food quality, customer service, and bad delivery experiences, I was ready to try something new. We were really hungry so I searched for a close by restaurant with decent pizza and wings menu options and La Guardiola fit the bill. We ordered a Margherita Pizza with Plain Wings. The food arrived fast, fresh, and hot, so I was already happy. The pizza looked amazing and so did the wings. The wings were huge, crispy, and well seasoned. Hands down my new favorite wings in Bayonne. The pizza was good. The sauce was a bit on the sweet side where I like my sauce a bit more on the salty side but it was really tasty and the crust had a nice crisp to it. I am looking forward to trying other menu items in the future but La Guardiola is now my new “Go To” for pizza and wings night. So good!”

I usually pick up but get delivery now and then. The lentil soup, Tuscan salad and pizza are my favorites! Other pizza places add pieces of topping that look like confetti. At Fontana you get nice size pieces of the mushrooms, onions, peppers, etc.”
