“Excellent traditional Italian restaurant. The food was delicious, made with care, packed with flavor and generous portions and prices were reasonable. Service was very friendly and attentive. Atmosphere had some charm, nice bar area. Decent parking available on the street. Meals I tried - Chicken Marsala was one of the best I’ve ever had and I try them everywhere. Sauce had so much flavor, nice thickness, lots of mushrooms and nice big thick tender chicken breasts. Also tried another pasta dish with ground sausage and cream sauce with sun dried tomatoes- also very good and unique dish. Also tried the risotto, not the best I’ve had but tasty, it had a brownish kind of sausage but was huge (impossible to eat in one sitting) and came with 4 fresh nicely grilled jumbo shrimp. In summary it’s the kind of place where I can tell everything you order is good and I look forward to going back and trying a lot of other dishes.”

“Stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner. The days special appetizer ramps, zuchini blooms covered in a egg batter, deep fried were great! Our entrees we very good as well, ink black pasta for me and scampi for my wife with the shrimp in both cooked just to perfection.Parking: You might need to circle the block to find a place for your car, ruff neighborhood that's tough to park in.”

“Pastrami is very good. Moist and fresh. The quantity will vary depending on on who is making it but most are decent portions. They also have tasty home cooked dinners, perogis , potato pancakes and other things. But it’s all about the pastrami.”

“Hendriksons has been one of my favorite restaurants in Bayonne for years. I usually visit for dinner, but this past weekend, I tried out their brunch menu for the 1st time. It was absolutely wonderful. The menu has a great variety of breakfast/lunch items, and the pricing didn't break the bank. I also have to mention that the service was great!”

I always get the basics the first time I eat at an Italian joint—I figure if they can’t do chicken parm, what use are they….big portions, moist, with a distinct red sauces-in a good way.The staff was super attentive, but we went early and this place is obviously an event/party type place—tons of beer on tap, a stage, etc. the waiter said the chef has been there for 20+ years, and it showed. “My Barber, told me that the Steak ? from next door (the Mediterrano) is the best!!!!And he was not kidding! For just $20 you get an incredible STEAK sandwich.....The best I have ever had...I always thought the best steak sandwich was El Pan Con Biste Cubano, but Mediterrano Steak Sandwich can not be compared to anything.I strongly recommend you try it.......you can even order it by phone, then come by and pick it up.Its soooo huge and thick you can eat half and save the other for dinner.Enjoy ?”

“I had the Parmesan crusted chicken and baked potato with seafood soup. Didn't prefer the corn in my soup but it tasted good so I sipped around the corn. The chicken was very salty and I sent it back but ? did not like it. The loaded baked was the best. Try and let me know if you agree ??. The server was excellent ?”

“Hosted a birthday party for about 28 people including kids. The service staff was attentive and responsive to emails and to my calls when I had questions. Here are pictures. The food that we ordered from the party package #2 was terrific. We brought our sound bar to play music from my own playlist. There is an option to have music provided by the bar/restaurant if you want. I would return to host another party. Much recommended.”

“I came here during happy hour. I got a humongous margarita for $10. Everything I ordered was fresh and delicious. The wait staff were attentive and friendly. The place is nice and it's good for a big group.”

The staff is attentive and very helpful.Parking: Early in the day there is parking to choose from, metered but generally within a block.
