Very nice. I walked in and had a table, glass of nice Italian red wine and a basket of hot bread all within 7mins. Then comes the Caprese followed by spaghetti puttanesca and more wine and hot bread. The chef ‘Anthony’ came to the table and greeted me and chilled my wine (per my request) and followed up with me all evening. Fantastic meal. Place was very busy and all were enjoying their meals. Came in to Staten Island to visit my mom for Christmas from Hawaii and she wanted to drive into Jersey to San Vito. Wow! Food is amazing and well worth the short drive over the Bayonne bridge. Had to have a slice, and it was perfect. Thin crispy crust and perfect amount of sauce and cheese. Had soup which was split pea with mushrooms. One of my favorite restaurants in town! Their food is delicious (best penne vodka pasta in my opinion), the service is great and the staff is always welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend paying them a visit for dinner or lunch.
