“Very nice little place on the side of Bayonne you don't often see. Worth the trip! Excellent service. No alcohol. Food was good, but the menu is definitely different. Excellent coffees and pastries.Kid-friendliness: It's a family place. We went for the live music, which might not be great for kids.“
“Had such an amazing time. Honestly this place deserves two Michelin stars. The service was tremendous. We were celebrating a friends graduation and everyone seemed to know. We did the vegetarian prefix and our friends had the normal menus. The vegetarian menu was fantastic and I never felt like I was getting a second class meal. Drinks were also top notch. Would recommend.“
“What a gastronomic experience. My family and I had the most wonderful dinner in the Dining Room - the Prix fix menu, plus a few extras, was an incredible delight. Mike, our server was outstanding, and the wine pairings were a beautiful complement to the experience. Thank you for doing such a great job.“
“Wow. I found this by searching for food nearby to the comedy cellar, and man did google nail it.I was sitting near the bar having a drink looking over the menu before I could actually get a seat. The staff were absolute legends, and we had a good conversation.Met a lady while she was waiting on her friend to show up. We sat down and chatted the whole time. She recommended the Filet, and I got it.Noticed there were Pommes Aligot on the menu and had to have it. I’ve only had this once in my life and had made it myself. It’s a PITA. It was delicious and I highly recommend this as your side.“
“Tried the TikTok viral restaurant. It used to be a Michelin one-star in 2021 and 2022. Although it has lost its Michelin star last year, I still think it’s my favorite Italian restaurant in NYC so far. Had a fantastic experience here! The salad turned out to be a game-changer. As someone who typically shies away from salads, Don Angie's version won me over with its unique flavors and freshness. Each bite was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to excellence.Don Angie lived up to its viral acclaim. My friend and I walked in at 9:15 pm, and we got seated in 20 minutes!! Strongly recommend this way of dining.“
“Truly outstanding meal envisioned by mastermind Raymond, accompanied by stellar drinks crafted by Jack, and world class service by Christine. the Shrimp and grits with langoustine was one of the best bites I've had in recent memory. Cannot wait to go back.“
“We came across this restaurant from a viral social post and didnt have any expectations honestly. The food was EXCELLENT and it had been a while since we’ve said that about a trending restaurant in NYC. We started with the wings that were some of the best wings I’ve ever had ( they serve it piping with a side of soaked towels to wash your hands) and the bone marrow was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Served on the bone with a side of buttery toast to place the marrow on and a delicious onion jam that sealed the deal. Then we had their famous burger with bacon and egg and it did not disappoint and a shaved prime rib that was AMAZING with a side of bacon Mac and cheese (we came hungry lol). Finished with the chocolate cream pie and key lime pie that sent us. Now the food was amazing but I have to say our server Ariana was what made our overall experience a 10/10. She was the BEST server we have experienced in a long time. She was so friendly, outgoing, and perfectly attentive and really made our night extra special to be honest. WE WILL BE BACK!“
“Rachel our waitress enhanced our experience ! Celebrating my husband’s birthday, she made it extra fun! Great conversation, story sharing, great service and recommendations and she’s now invited to our daughters wedding - see ya there Rachel ❤️“
“I really like this restaurant! The food is high quality and the experience is fine dining but fun/relaxed.The menu is composed of bits of familiar recipes with Korean twists and French culinary techniques. There’s galbi, squid ink fried rice, uni, and mäd toast (which sounded monstrous but I didn’t get to try it this time) plus much more. I liked that the menu is small-sized and minimalist with clearly labeled snacks, little colds, hots, mains, extras, and desserts (menu is posted outside the entrance and on website). The current menu that started in mid-March has snacks/appetizers such as spicy yellowtail tart, beef tartare, fried shiitake mushroom rice balls (I think?, it’s labeled as mushroom arancini on the menu), pork head katsu, and scallion buns with unique sauces on the side ($20 per person, either no one or everyone orders). I tried the mushroom tempura with onion dip too! Everything was elegantly and adorably plated. Our server explained what’s what and suggested how to best enjoy some dishes. They have a really extensive drinks menu (many pages), complete with your usual offerings and their own unique cocktails, rice alcohol, maekgeolli, and even alcohol free cocktails woohoo! Not sure if all of the ice cubes for the alcoholic drinks are engraved with the restaurant’s name and logo but ours were and I thought that was a really cool and personal touch. An equally important part of my dining experience was the atmosphere and service. The staff are attentive, frequently filling glasses low on water and folding napkins when you step away. They also keep the music bopping and adjust their playlists. The lighting is a little dim and the interior is ‘cool club’ vibes but for a slightly more sophisticated audience. It’s a place to come in casual or dressed up a little for fun. It’s best for smaller groups of 1-4 I think based on seating arrangements but they seem to be able to accommodate slightly larger groups at some bigger tables and in the back room. Expect to pay $50-$100 if you get one item from each category on the menu and a drink. Probably $100+ if you get more or multiple drinks. The bar area in the back is across from the kitchen, which might be cool to peek at to see some staff members curating orders.I like that it’s on a quieter block in ktown area. The price range and location filters out loud and teen crowds, so it feels like a great place for young adults and Millenials to catch up or go on a date. It’s a place to sit down and chat while you savor small bites and wait on more food to arrive, so you’ll probably need like 1.5-2 hours if you’re going for a natural relaxed pace. I also saw a family of 5 enjoying dinner together here. Lastly, this is random but the hand soap is heavenly. I can’t wait to see what other menus they craft!!Dietary restrictions: They will ask about dietary restrictions and can modify recipes. If you don’t eat certain ingredients/foods, they can omit snacks too and adjust the price for you accordingly.“
“The food, cocktails and view are excellent. Only the service failed. The waiter was impatient and inattentive. I ordered a cocktail that had been very difficult for me to find in other places and the Bartender made it delicious. It was a rainy day at times there was no visibility but the atmosphere and the drinks were very pleasant.“
“This was a fantastic experience! From the moment we stepped inside, the staff was courteous, engaging, helpful and knowledgeable. We had a party of 3, and ordered 6 dishes. Each dish came out as it was made and each dish was absolutely delicious. A person in our party had a gluten allergy which was no problem and accommodated with ease. We come to NY every year and this will absolutely be a place we revisit again and again! Vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike will appreciate the dishes and be amazed with the taste! Highly recommended!“
“Amazing food, drinks, and service! The birds of paradise drink was amazing if you like a little spice. They brought out bread (including gluten free bread) with a dipping sauce of olive oil, garlic paste, and peppers that was incredible. We split the caviar topped tater tots, tuna crudo, broccoli (served over yogurt, so unique and one of the best veggie dishes we’ve ever had), and the limone pasta on a gf noodle (gf noodle made in house and my non-gf friend said it was amazing pasta even among non-gf. Every bite was amazing. Top tier service. So knowledgeable about dietary needs. Cute ambiance. Can’t wait to return!Dietary restrictions: Very gluten free friendly! Can modify almost every dish. Very knowledgeable about ingredients, shared fryers, etc.“
“We came with a friend and got to try most of the items. For three people, we shared some appetizers —— the seeded bread (7/10), scallops 7.5/10, duck bun (6/10), bucatini (7.5/10).The entrees were much better than the appetizers. Got the halibut, bbq pork, and duck breast. All were delicious, but the duck was definitely the best. Would come back for the main courses. Mille feuille was good too, not picturedCocktails were not memorable. Interior was beautiful!“
“BAR REVIEW ONLY. Came here recently Sunday afternoon close to their closing time but we were welcomed warmly regardless—decided to grab seats at the bar. The restaurant is nice and fancy looking, loved it!Started off with caviar—SO DELICIOUS!! We tried the Siberian Sturgeon ($75/25gr) and Classic Ostra ($95/25gr)—perfect portion for a light bite with drinks. Cocktails were great as well—highly recommend the “Caviar”tini—vodka martini with pomegranate jelly shaped to mimic caviar in the drink!Overall, service was AMAZING! Our bartender was friendly and attentive and made the best drinks!“
“The wine selection is outstanding, accompanied by a superb food menu that's straightforward and user-friendly. The ambiance is wonderfully minimalist, and the food is served at the ideal temperature with exceptional flavor. We enjoyed the Long Island duck and pork tenderloin, as well as steelhead trout and gulf prawns for starters. I highly recommend stopping by if you find yourself in NYC.“
“Cool and clean atmosphere with unique lighting and comfortable seating. Levi was our server and was awesome!Wheelchair accessibility: They are on the main level with no stairs if you enter from the front of the hotel. If you enter from the restaurant side there is a ramp.“
“We went last Sunday night for a family dinner. We ordered White bean Hummus, Hamachi and Tuna appetizers(tiny portions), Gruyère fritters as starters. Can’t remember what else. Everything was delicious. We ordered pork Katsu and the citrus marinated chicken, Gnocchi w Duck Ragu for dinner which were also well prepared and accompaniments were flavorful. Part of our dinner was the charred octopus appetizer. This dish was quite overcooked and chewy. The sauce on the side was the only way we got through the plate. In retrospect we should have sent the item back as it was an expensive selection but we did not want to be rude. This was also unexpected as our other choices were tasty so we did not know how to deal with this miss. All in all this dish was a disappointment. Staff was friendly, vibe was nice and the restaurant was quite full on a Sunday evening. We noticed a gentleman watching over the dining room and I am guessing that was to make sure patrons were either well taken care of or not over staying.“
“A bit louder than other Michelin-rated establishments. Professional service team but could've had timing and communication down more. Not a significant issue though. Food was fresh and flavorful. Highlights were the tuna tartar canape, the seabass and the nam foc mai mango with coconut rice. No chicken or beef on our menu. Diver scallops were over-cooked.“
“I’ve been thinking about visiting here and I finally did it days ago. It didn’t meet my expectations, also slightly pricy, but some nice things.Ramen was good but average. One a slice of bamboo and a slice of pork, and over $20.Good part for me: the pork was well seasoned and cooked! Definitely the highlight of the whole bowl. And surprisingly, soup is clean, not oily. But overall, the taste was kinda dull, no layers for me.Soft serve was delicious, barley with beautiful honey taste. But it was a little bit watery and too soft, melted really fast.“
“I went here on a Wednesday at 1:30pm and was able to get a seat at the bar. No wait. The blueberry pancakes and fried chicken sandwich were good, but definitely not the best I have had. In addition, the cappuccino was not well executed. It was good, but definitely not “waiting in line” worthy.Overall I don’t think it’s worth the hype.“
“Love this restaurant. The vibe is perfect - elevated but welcoming. The decor is attractive without being overpowering, and even though the ceilings are high, it manages to be cozy. The service is always excellent, and the lovely added touches like an added desert or glass of wine for a special occation are really appreciated. The food is inventive and delicious - last night we split the tuna tartare and the pork belly, and both were perfect. Big plus for Billy at the bar - friendly, knows a lot about New York, knows a lot about the menu! You can't go wrong, either for a special occasion or just a Wednesday night - this is one of the best choices in the West Village.“
“Absolute top of the line dining experience. My wife and I have been to numerous Michelin starred restaurants and after a while you feel like you’re just eating the same 17 course tasting menu over and over again. Luckily, Le Pavillon allows you to order proper portions and have a real meal and the overall experience was way more impressive than the already high expectations we had.I started with a take on chicken soup which was impressive and delicious, my main was a beef duo with incredible vegetables and sauces, and I finished with the best banana pudding I’ve ever had. My wife had an onion tart that was a play on French onion soup, incredible duck, and then a play on an ice cream cake. The service was impeccable and friendly without being snobby at all and the decor was beautiful, with an entire indoor garden in a high rise with tons of storefront glass. Look one way and there was nature - look the other and it’s the city. Everything was impressive and wonderful and we’ve already talked about returning.“
“One of our favorite restaurants. The food is amazing and the people are friendly too. The only thing that last time we were there all four of us got Covid. I had booked a table for the outdoor dining but was given a table inside. My mistake for allowing it. I don't know who gave all of us Covid but I sure it was their because two of the people were from out of town and we are from the city. We will try again and definitely sit out side.“
“A lovely dine-in bar-restaurant in UWS. I have been there during the happy hours (3:30 to 6 PM) and I would recommend the same. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, best for a group or an intimate date. I would highly recommend the Consulate's Old Fashioned which has Mescal. The French 85 is also good.“
“A Plant-Based ParadiseWillow Vegan Bistro is a dream come true for vegans seeking delicious, familiar comfort food. Their menu expertly transforms classic American dishes into exciting plant-based creations. Expect high-quality ingredients, innovative flavors, and a welcoming atmosphere – a must-try for any vegan in NYC.“
“It's very nostalgic and authentically retro in the space, despite being crowded it's quiet. Great service without trying too hard. Brunch was good but not exceptional, Dessert was a dream. So so good and the menu is filled with traditional favorites which I appreciate. I enjoyed people watching and the general feeling of old New York was so comforting. For me it was a splurge and worth it for the atmosphere and dessert.“
“Pecking House had some of the best fried chicken I have had in recent times. It was elevated and you could tell there is an extra level of sophistication to their chicken. Different flavors, different techniques and some Asian fusion aspects that pair so perfectly well with the classic American style fried chicken. Cornbread was excellent, dirty fried rice was also superb and the chili chicken sandwich really hit the spot. Can't wait to return to Pecking House in the future! Service was also excellent; super attentive and next level for a more casual place like this one. Don't sleep on the Peanut butter pudding!“
“Overall - really unique spot that I recommend! The food was the highlight. Kangaroo tartare is a must (details stood out - the homemade chips on down) and the monkfish was one of the more unique fish dishes (along with some incredibly flavorful fried sunchokes) we’ve ever had. The venison heart skewers were tasty and fun, but nothing to write home about and I’d probably skip them next time.Wine menu was solid and the glasses we had were new to us/also well priced.Service was good overall - had a mix of team members working with us and the owner (?) came by multiple times to make sure everyone was doing okay, which was a nice touch.Ambiance-wise it was so so because we were in the back and also sat in between other seatings so it was oddly empty for part of the meal, but I chalk that more up to circumstance than the restaurant itself. The check - we paid $220 for two small plates, one large plate, and 4 glasses of wine. This isn’t bad largely because the wine glasses were well priced and we didn’t eat a ton. The food is definitely on the pricier side for the dish size ($25-30 for small plates, $50+ for large) but not super expensive.“
“Came here for lunch on a Monday (around 1pm) and was able to walk in without needing reservation. We got the schnitzel (tried pork and chicken) and also the apple schtrudel, they were all delicious! The schnitzels also came with 3 sides, so it was a good amount of food even if you are very hungry. I also loved the vibe of this space. I will definitely be back for dinner!“
“The food here was really good and the bottomless brunch option was a great addition to the meal. Our waitress, Daisy, was such a lovely person and was quick to meet any of our needs. I would definitely come again for the food and atmosphere!“
“We had dinner here to celebrate my mum's birthday before going to a Broadway show. The service was great and the food was delicious! We had a pre-theatre menu, which was good value, and everything tasted so good. One person in our group has a gluten allergy; they had a GF menu which was nice. I would definitely recommend this place!“
“Came here to have a wine tasting with my boyfriend and his friend. As I walk in the interior design is very cool. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. Tonight wine tasting is from Sicily and the brewer is here tonight. It was a pleasure seeing him and how he explaining where the wine was from. We order a charcuterie while we taste the wine. Would recommend people to come and visit this place.“
“We came in last Thursday night for some pre dinner drinks while on vacation and we're so glad we found this spot! Our trip was drink/food focused and the bartenders here did not disappoint. My husband and our friend had a "Ramos Gin Fizz", (which was literally like the best cocktail I have ever tasted), I would have had one myself but I was already three deep into the Cucumber Mint Collins (which was also delicious)! There was a great live band playing and it was just what we needed after not being in the city for so long. Can't wait to come back!! Did I mention the bartenders were awesome? (It needed to be said twice).“
“Visited bass on other tourist recommendations for a late breakfast. However it wasn't till I sat down that I was informed that the brunch offering was only available on the weekends.Having already been seated, it would have been rude to leave. I ordered the chicken salad dish which was delicious and well balanced. A tad over priced for what was served but in all an enjoyable meal.“
“I had a GREAT time at Little Owl tonight. I went with my friend and sat at the bar. The bartender Daniel is such a wonderful and warm person. The food was incredibly tasty and great. He pleased us while smiling and being nice the whole time. Such a wonderful guy -Also. Amy was very welcoming and sweet too. Will definitely come back.Thank you staff of Little Owl! ?“
“This wine bar in midtown is a gem among the sea of Irish Pubs and delis. The service is top-notch and international, adding to the welcoming vibe. Went alone, sat at the bar and ordered a charcuterie which was excellent value and quality, paired perfectly with bold reds, handpicked with the help of their awesome servers. Loved it.“
“Food was tasty overall. Cocktails were great. Got the pandan punch (sweet). For food, we got the duck rilette, frog legs (it was alright), unisoba (uni was good quality), oxtail (favorite for the night), and their tres leches cake (it was really good). Service was amazing and so friendly.“
“The absolute most friendliest staff. The entrance is disguised so if you’re confused, just look at the address number. The space is very cozy, they have complimentary coat check and the staff were amazing. Both my friend and I enjoyed our cocktails. Did not try the food; but the people next to us did and it smelled sooo good.“
“Out of 10 service, the oysters are very good, all the dishes have a very interesting concept, it's a good experience.(don't expect to eat huge dishes)It's a steep price for us Brazilians who have such a devalued currency, but those who convert don't have fun ??“
“We had the special breakfast of the day, which wasn’t on the menu. It included red potatoes, lamb, avocado, and topped with a poached egg. The taste was excellent, we really enjoyed it. We also ordered waffles, which came with whipped cream, mixed berries, and syrup on the side, and I absolutely loved it. The coffee service and the atmosphere were both fantastic. We paid $93 for two people, which might be a bit pricey, but it’s definitely worth it for such a great place. I highly recommend it.“
“Barbuto is terrific. Really cool far west village location and it's a large space with a big bar (where we had a great house martini prior to dinner, the best way to eat out). The team is friendly from the get go and we felt taken care of by the friendly staff. We went for the roast chicken and it didn't disappoint. Don't expect it to be life changing but it is among the best roast chicken in NYC: juicy with great flavor and an amazing crispy skin served with their version of a chimichurri sauce. Delicious. Also want to acknowledge the calamari salad which is maybe the best version of fried calamari I've ever had. Great place and I'm happy it's here!“
“I start this review at the end: We will be returning to L'accolade for dinner again. I made our reservations on the same night as catching a show after dinner and so, we did not get a bottle from the wine list. The next time we go back, my husband and I have agreed to schedule dinner on it's own so that we may spend a bit more time and have a bottle from the wine list. The wine list is intriguing and electric, with many selections that my husband did not recognize, but is excited to try.I reserved at L'accolade because it was close to the venue where our show was scheduled that night and the restaurant that I first booked had removed duck (my favourite) from their menu. I wasn't sure what to expect exactly, from the online menu I was expecting something quite French, but I thought it would a bit more traditional? We were blown away and so happy I found L'accolade!Entering the restaurant we were greeted in a very professional and knowledgeable staff member, who had a great smile :)The place was hopping - lively music, lots of people having lively conversation and the interior felt like a very like we were about to dine in someone's beloved wine cave.We were seated at one of the best tables in the restaurant, I'm not sure how we got so lucky, this table was perfect for us.The gentleman was taking care of us primarily let us know we arrived at Happy Hour and that the drink specials were still on, so we began with a cocktail. I rarely have gin so opted for the Lavande, which features one of my fav flavour combinations, lavender and lemon and it was the perfect start to my meal. My husband requested a vodka martini on ice with three olives and our gentleman asked he if wanted it dirty - always the sign that someone knows their martinis! My husband answered "A little" and our gentleman knew exactly what was what :DWe greatly enjoyed our cocktails while we made our decisions about our meals. My husband looked over the wine list and was surprised to see many selections he was unfamiliar with, it was decided that if the food was good, we would be back to try a bottle from the wine list.At the perfect moment, the gentleman taking care of us returned to take our food orders and wine for our mains. We were very happy to be informed how each of our mains would be served - both medium rare, which is our preferred cook. I am not sure how others feel about this, but for my husband and I, we were reminded of our recent trip to Paris and take as a sign that the chef is well-trained in the French style. This was a touch that really made us smile, thank you.I had the Hamachi Tartare, it was beautifully presented, balanced, tasted of freshness and just a touch of acidity. I was worried it wouldn't taste right with my cocktail, but it was quite complimentary. My husband opted for the Seared Scallops which looked dramatic and perfect on his plate. He greatly enjoyed them and, of course, loved his martini. The staff is attentive without being overbearing, it reminded us greatly of French service with a friendly American twist. One of the things that stood out to us about the staff is that they genuinely seem to like working here and to also like each other, it's a really great environment to spend time in.Our table was clear and our mains presented in perfect timing and our dinner wine were brought over at exactly the right moment. My husband had the Beef Strip Loin, which included a serving of bone marrow. His plate was dramatic and he loved it. My husband that although he doesn't usually enjoy bone marrow, it was delicious and he finished it all off. We really appreciate the staff member who was attentive enough to realize that my husband needed a spoon without us asking, thank you, thank was very kind.I had the duck. It was the reason that we booked here and it was wonderful - perfectly cooked, the sides were tasty and balanced. It was the kind of duck that I will think about for a long time.We are so happy that we had dinner here and have been talking about it since we visited.“
“Since it opened, I've come here a few times for the occasional work dinner or special occasion. Revisited Marc Forgione for the first time in a while and I can say it never disappoints me. The food and service are consistently and reliably exceptional. It's difficult to choose a favorite dish. The meal seems to get better and better with each course, but the highlights were sun choke and caviar special, Hiramasa and the Halibut.“
“The crispy eggs Benedict is a treat for the morning - the preparation is a bit of an improvement of the poached egg on this classic style Benedict. The French toast perfectly done with a thin outer crisp and fluffy inside. Great way to start the day!“
“A hidden gem in the east village. Food is experimental and delicious to eat. The Hawaiian Asian fusion food is very unique and rare to find in the city. The gluten-free fried chicken is a must go for anyone who has dietary restrictions. It is crispy, juicy and delicious.Szechuan Bolognese is quite an interesting combination of Chinese and Italian cuisine.Heritage pork chop is a very delicious too.Not to mention the dessert!! The brûlée Hawaiian pineapple and the Chocolate Haupia Sundae are too good to miss!I love the intimate environment. Small space without too much pretentious. The service is superb. You can tell the staff generally care about if their customers have a good time there. Very spontaneous, very friendly and very observable. Will come back again!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free fried chicken“
“I cannot state enough just how delicious the food is here !!! Soooooooooo good !! Everything was full of soo much flavor and the steak had to have been one of the best cooked steaks I’ve ever had perfect temp and seasoning. It’s pretty inside and perfect to go for a date night the ambiance is nice. Definitely recommend this place“
“The most delicious brunch, the BEST service! We had a wonderful time, food was SO good…the avocado was so green and fresh, the hash brown was the size of my face! Everyone was so welcoming…the nicest and most efficient staff EVER! 10/10!!“
“Ocean Prime is a must if down in NYC. We had came for my wife’s birthday and had an amazing experience. Our serve Ripon was amazing and made great suggestions for drinks, entrees, and desert. He made sure my wife’s birthday was perfect. The food was amazing and the drinks were great too.“
“Just had dinner at Milady’s, the OG cocktail spot in Soho! ?? With over 80 years of history, they sure know how to mix up some killer cocktails. Plus, they’ll whip up something special off-menu just for you! ? And let’s not forget about the food – mostly bar bites, but their crab mac & cheese is to die for!“
“Recently had our Wedding Ceremony and Reception here at The Chandelier. The location is beautiful, the service was good and the food was AMAZING. Everyone that came enjoyed the food. They have multiple areas depending on the size of your event. The best part of all was the venue being extremely affordable. Our vision was brought to life here and we were extremely satisfied with the venue. Thank you!“
