Instead of letting it go, she took the initiative to ask for my address and delivered the food to my house herself—unbelievable! As a business owner, I know that is truly going the extra mile. “Delicious and FRESH food. Very good Haitian place on my now three visits. It's a high-quality takeout restaurant and level of service depends on the person waiting on you. I have had okay service by some and great hospitality from others (the owner and Jemima, I believe is her name, have both given excellent personal service). Either way, the food makes up for it.I've had the pork griot, which is so delicious. Many places you get fried pork, you might be chewing for days; theirs is tender and flavorful. I just had the fritaille platter with the pork and everything included was fresh and delicious. I've also had the fish, chicken, and beef patties made with homemade puff pastry. They were all fresh and SO FLAKEY. Perfect puff pastry. They're also well-priced and a good value. Don't hesitate to try them, it's always busy for a reason!

“Had dinner there for the second time on Saturday night! It was very memorable. The food was absolutely fantastic. I had the eggplant with the Barata for an appetizer. It was so delicious and so tasty and my main course was the homemade linguine with lump crab and corn. We also got the meatball which was spectacular and then I got the cheesecake dessert which was one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever eaten. I absolutely love love love this place. Can’t wait to go back and eat there again.“

“I tasted Bullhorns Burgers, and it was sooo good. The burger was super juicy and packed with flavor, with fresh toppings that made every bite satisfying. The bun was soft, the meat was perfectly cooked, and everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned. It felt filling without being too heavy, and the fries on the side were crispy and delicious. “Great Food, Great Service Great Atmosphere. So we were bummed when we saw they closed the original location because how much we loved the place. We were relieved when they announced they were opening up in a much more appropriate and highly upgraded venue. This was perfect timing for us to celebrate our 9 year anniversary here. Upon arriving the inside captures the comfort and style of the Livingston location and then improves upon it with the beautiful outside seating area. Now onto the food which is just as good if not better than the original location im glad to see the quality has remained consistent. My steak was cooked to perfection and my wifes pasta dish was packed with quality flavor. The drink menu was definitely brought to the next level as well everything seemed like it was fine tuned and everything we tried was on point and had its own unique delicious flavor profile. Andy behind the bar was very knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to talk to about the different cocktails. For dessert we shared the tiramisu which was great it wasn't youre traditional kind but we loved the spin they put on it with the cake and ice-cream. Lastly for service Jonathan took amazing care of us and made our special day very memorable along with the rest of the staff. Everyone that came by the table was professional and had a smile on their face. They all seemed happy and took pride in their work which was nice to see. On the day of the event, the tables were set perfectly, the space was great for mingling and comfortable for eating, the servers were on top of everything, and our guests are still raving about the food. “Delicious food. Great service by Sydney! It started with amazing honey bread at the table. Flatbreads yum, especially the one with fig topping. Muscles, tuna tartare, noodle flush, brussel sprouts, calamari salad, and more! All yum! Would absolutely go there again. We had 8-10 people and the service was excellent.“

We stopped in before the Earthquake Comedy Show and ended up having one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time.
I ordered the burger and fries along with a Long Island Iced Tea. Everything was cooked perfectly, packed with flavor, and served exactly the way great food should be. Dorothy had the hummus with fresh vegetables, the pomegranate basil drink, and the Margherita pizza appetizer. Every item was fresh, vibrant, and absolutely delicious.
The drinks deserve their own recognition. The Long Island was spot on, and the pomegranate basil drink was refreshing, unique, and unforgettable.
The service was exceptional from the moment we walked in. Friendly, attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The staff made us feel like valued guests rather than just another table.
The atmosphere was outstanding. Clean, modern, comfortable, and energetic without being overwhelming. Whether you're there for a casual meal, a date night, drinks with friends, or heading to an event at NJPAC, this place delivers.
Now let's talk about something most restaurants overlook: the bathrooms. Spotless. Clean. Well maintained. That level of attention tells you a lot about how a business is run.
The management clearly takes pride in every aspect of the operation. You can feel it in the food, the service, the cleanliness, and the overall experience.
And believe it or not, even the water was phenomenal. That's not something I normally mention in a review, but everything here was just that good.
NICO Kitchen + Bar has set the standard for what a restaurant should be. We left impressed, satisfied, and already planning our next visit.
In fact, I'll be calling because I'd love to learn more about their business...and see if I can be a part of any potential growth.. That's how strongly I feel about what they've built here. When a restaurant gets every detail right, it deserves recognition.

“A group of us decided to give this restaurant a try after a round of golf. We were so happy we did!!! What gem. The atmosphere was very nice! Great bar with plenty of TVs. Nice restaurant area. The food was the highlight! Great food! We had possibly the best wedge salad I have ever had. Trust me. The rest of our group had salads, wings, fish tacos and burgers. All great! Our waitress was also so friendly and nice. We will be back! Even without golf we plan to come back.“

“Great restaurant! I had the caesar salad with salmon. The greens were super fresh, dressing was very flavorful, and the salmon was cooked to medium, just as I had ordered.

Our large group had lunch in The Dining Room’s private space. We had many servers, but it was mainly Ana who took care of us. She did an excellent job and is a real sweetheart.

The only downside was the coffee, which was terrible (and not cheap!). I hope they have improved the coffee by now.“

“Wanted to taste a new Punjabi restaurant in Central New Jersey and found this place through Google maps. Read their reviews and wanted to surely taste their food.. parking was a bit tight but fine . Location voice it is slightly off the main areas in Central Jersey.

Service could improve.. They forgot some order… they got garlic naan after almost 30 minutes.. .. Punjabi kulcha was the best . Super super good . Punjabi thali was also good . Garlic naan did not taste good… and so did paneer Tika Masala.. It was very average…. Lassi was really good…

Overall, it was a decent experience.. wanted to give 3.5 but gave a 4 .. for the price vs quality factor.“

“We have eaten at the new Carriage House a few times since it recently opened, and have been impressed overall. The food has been consistently good, and the Carriage House is quite lovely. We have tried chicken, fish, and pasta entrees and have enjoyed them all. The overall service is good, but as with most restaurants, they have some very seasoned staff who are excellent, along with some relatively new staff who will benefit from more experience. It is an excellent choice before or after a performance at the Paper Mill. We hope they continue service when the Paper Mill is not offering performances.“
