The Highlawn offers a changed experience, now featuring an open kitchen and bar. The view remains exceptional, and the food is generally very good, with standout dishes like the scallops. Some dishes could be improved, and while the service is attentive, there is room for improvement in familiarity with the menu and timely delivery of items. Service can be slow, possibly due to the kitchen being overwhelmed, but staff are eager to fix any problems and make the experience special. The restaurant now offers a larger selection of Italian wines and sushi. The lamb chops were mostly fat and very little meat, while the roasted chicken included a wing and a thigh, no breast. The ambience and location are beautiful, but the lighting is too bright, like an office, which reduces the romantic atmosphere. Playing some music and dimming the lights could enhance the vibe, as the restaurant was also very quiet with only the fan noise from the kitchen. The food remains a highlight, with the salmon being a favorite, and the venue itself is stunning, providing a perfect atmosphere. The service was described as impeccable, making for a memorable dinner experience.
