“Had dinner there for the second time on Saturday night! It was very memorable. The food was absolutely fantastic. I had the eggplant with the Barata for an appetizer. It was so delicious and so tasty and my main course was the homemade linguine with lump crab and corn. We also got the meatball which was spectacular and then I got the cheesecake dessert which was one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever eaten. I absolutely love love love this place. Can’t wait to go back and eat there again.“

“Sam’s Table is a cozy restaurant with a seasonal menu and very welcoming staff and decor. We dined here with friends in March where we had the most delicious spring menu. Everyone at the table tried something they “don’t usually like” and Sam changed our minds. Every course was fresh, creative, beautiful and delicious. I loved how each dish had a special touch - we had preserved lemon and pea tendrils and sunflower seed tahini and dandelion. We will definitely be back.“

“it was a gorgeous day and we were at Brookdale Dog Park. We looked up dog friendly restaurants. What a great place the food was awesome, the beers were cold and the service was excellent. The prices were so reasonable which is rare in Montclair! and they were so dog friendly! it was our first time there but not the last!“

“Always a steady goto in our restaurant rotation. Seasons 52 in Paramus never disappoints. Their Pork Chop is one of my favorite entrees along with the Filet Mignon and Lobster, you can't go wrong with the flatbreads, tuna tartare, golden beet salad, and Maui Tuna Crunch Salad. Something for everybody. Cartier and the rest of the crew that works the bar are great, and always welcome us back when visit.“

“Second baptism brunch I've attended here. The staff and food the last time were incredible but the staff this time were above and beyond incredible!! The food was very good and the place was extremely clean! Only issue I had was they put salad on top of each meal after serving a salad to start the meal. Didn't make much sense to me. But I still highly recommend this place!!! Too bad I could only give 5 stars to the service as it deserves 10!!!“

“I walked into this small cafe without even thinking they had such a great variety of food… I WAS BLOWN AWAY!!!!!!! The pizza is fantastic, thin airy crispy crust … so delicious!!!

I ordered the drunken parm sandwich and it was made fresh, the breaded chicken was made right then not cold and frozen like other places.. they put the perfect amount of cheese and sauce .. it was crispy and not messy. The hero bread was delicious too! I cannot rave enough about this place!

“Great Food, Great Service Great Atmosphere. So we were bummed when we saw they closed the original location because how much we loved the place. We were relieved when they announced they were opening up in a much more appropriate and highly upgraded venue. This was perfect timing for us to celebrate our 9 year anniversary here. Upon arriving the inside captures the comfort and style of the Livingston location and then improves upon it with the beautiful outside seating area. Now onto the food which is just as good if not better than the original location im glad to see the quality has remained consistent. My steak was cooked to perfection and my wifes pasta dish was packed with quality flavor. The drink menu was definitely brought to the next level as well everything seemed like it was fine tuned and everything we tried was on point and had its own unique delicious flavor profile. Andy behind the bar was very knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to talk to about the different cocktails. For dessert we shared the tiramisu which was great it wasn't youre traditional kind but we loved the spin they put on it with the cake and ice-cream. Lastly for service Jonathan took amazing care of us and made our special day very memorable along with the rest of the staff. Everyone that came by the table was professional and had a smile on their face. They all seemed happy and took pride in their work which was nice to see. “Went at two different times.
First visit was amazing. We ordered the calamari to share and came out flavorful and crispy! I had the whisky glaze salmon and it was very tender and the glaze had the right amount of sweetness. The mashed was flavorful. The asparagus was ok.. a bit dry and tough but I ate it anyway haha. For the drink, I had the Dragonfruit margarita and it was very good as well. Right amount of booziness but not overwhelmingly so. The drink was also pretty. The service was also very fast and our server was very attentive and kind.

The second visit, we came on a Saturday and it was VERY busy. We waited an hour for a table and some of our apps were forgotten but the service was still pretty decent and they ended up comping some of our apps without being asked to. I still enjoyed my food. The music was amazing as well.. they played lots of Caribbean hits 😂🩷“

“Our dinner was delicious from start to finish! We shared the pulpo and funghi/fontina pizza. The pulpo was ok but the batatas bravas and sauce it came with was very good! My favorite part of the mean was the house salad—so many textures and flavors that went well together. This was paired with the calamari app—perfect for a filling meal. The hangar steak was ordered and enjoyed very much!!! The service was excellent with an attentive waitstaff that made the meal even better“

“We stopped by after an event at NJPAC on a Sunday afternoon and had a fantastic experience. The grilled feta with cherry tomatoes and pita bread was absolutely to die for. I had the braised short rib and my partner had the shrimp scampi—both were excellent.
For drinks, I tried the Fig Mule and the Buchanita (both great, though I preferred the mule), while my partner really enjoyed the Spiked Southern Tea. Overall, a wonderful meal and experience—highly recommend!“

“We dined at Robert’s for the first time. We were celebrating a relative’s birthday. The food was outrageous! The appetizers were amazing as were all of the entrees. I had chicken stuffed with mushrooms and I can honestly say that it was the best chicken I have ever eaten. The portions were plentiful. We had a large selection of desserts to choose from at the end of the meal. I chose one particular dessert but before mine came out, I asked if I could exchange it for one that someone in our party had in front of her. No problem. They accommodated me and it was beyond delicious. Also, the staff was very attentive during our whole meal. They could not have been any better. The only negative was the fact that there was also another birthday celebration going on at the same time and it was so noisy that we couldn’t hear each other talk. Despite that, I wouldn’t hesitate to return to this fabulous restaurant.“

“I went here for a fundraiser they had about 7 different hors d'oeuvres all were good the waiters kept them coming .I ordered the duck lollipops , cheeseburger , watermelon salad , spicy cauliflower and the wings all were very good . We started with the baked clams, which were fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to kick things off. The bar pie was exactly what you want from a classic Jersey tavern pie—thin, crispy, and packed with flavor.
For mains, the steak with shrimp scampi was outstanding. The steak was cooked perfectly and the shrimp scampi added that rich, buttery garlic flavor that made the whole dish stand out. The Drunken Onion Burger was another highlight—juicy, loaded with caramelized onions, and just downright satisfying. The owner even came out with some of their dessert options to try which ended the night perfectly.
The food, atmosphere, and overall experience made for a great first visit. Safe to say I’ll 100% be back to try even more on the menu. If you’re in the area and looking for great food in a classic local spot, Charlie Blood’s is absolutely worth the stop.“
