My family ordered three different entrees and shared. We were really happy with our meals- everything was super fresh, the use of veggies and sauces really elevated the taste and quality of the seafood being used. “The lobster bisque in a bread bowl was delicious. I don't know where they get their bread bowls but mine was perfect. Warm and crusty on the outside but soft and yummy on the inside.The mocktails are new since our last visit and the mojito was the best I've had so far at a restaurant. I also had the kale caesar salad with blackened grouper which I really enjoyed.“

“As a patron of the Tenafly location, I wanted to try the Montclair locale. Parking isn't great around there but we managed. The cocktails were good. There was a grilled octopus plate served with a salad as an appetizer and it was delicious! Most of the entrees were seasoned okay but nothing stood out. One of our 5 dishes came out wrong but corrected within 5 minutes. The original dish was meant for another table and we got the correct plate quickly. Noise level was normal for a Friday night. Very nice ambiance - decor wise. Would return.“
“The food is excellent, but the service is outstanding. They made my friends and I feel welcomed. The food portions were just right, as they don't have exaggerate to make that a gimmick. Although they don't serve wine, they knew a place nearby where we could purchase for our party. Overall, a wonderful experience.“

“This restaurant has the best Whiting fish I have ever tasted! Aside from that, I get the side orders of the Macaroni and cheese along with the Yams and Potato salad. Everything is delicious! “What's not to say about this place. If you're a fan of seafood you won't be disappointed in the fresh and delicious options available. Nothing here is lacking in flavor and the cocktails are outstanding. Came here with a few girlfriends and we had a pleasant time. The atmosphere would lend itself to a beautiful date night location. There is a private venue upstairs if you'd like to host an event there and is conveniently connected to Egan and Sons if you wanted to have a relaxed drink after an upscale dinner. If you park in the lot in the back, at Egans, you can walk straight through to Halcyon. Make a res of you're going on a peak night. Can't wait to go back.“
“This place is fantastic!!! The pasta was to die for! The lamb pizza I’ve been thinking about since I’ve eaten it! The only hiccup was that they were short staffed in the kitchen so we were there for a very long time AND my husbands steak was over cooked. They did more than enough to make it right and were very apologetic. The place is very cute and homey inside. PLUS BYOB! We will be back again that’s for sure !“
