“This place is excellent. I bought my friend from Japan with his family and was happy to take them to Cornbread for some authentic soul food. Needless to say my friend and his family loved the experience. They were finishing a road trip throughout the US and they thought the food at Cornbread was some of the best they had in their month long journery. The turkey wings were particularly good and I'm saying this as a person who is mostly vegetarian. Service was also excellent with attentive help and the servers were conversational and friendly with my friends and I. Bathrooms were also very clean. I wholeheartedly recommend Cornbread Montclair as a solid business and a great place for delicious Soul Food.“

“Wow. The price and the food was immaculate. We ordered the roll for 3 and the love for 2 combo. The server was really polite on getting my drink and i was very pleased with the welcome. Then, we received our food, and then when i tell you it was DELICIOUS AND HIGH QUALITY. I mean it. “Had dinner there for the second time on Saturday night! It was very memorable. The food was absolutely fantastic. I had the eggplant with the Barata for an appetizer. It was so delicious and so tasty and my main course was the homemade linguine with lump crab and corn. We also got the meatball which was spectacular and then I got the cheesecake dessert which was one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever eaten. I absolutely love love love this place. Can’t wait to go back and eat there again.“

“Faubourg Montclair delivered an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The crab and corn appetizer was absolutely perfect and beautifully presented. What was even more impressive was the flavor.

I had the duck confit panini, and the bread was grilled to perfection, adding a wonderful rustic character to the rich, savory duck. The fries were exactly how they should be: crispy on the outside and light and fluffy inside.

My wife ordered the lamb gyro, which was expertly prepared with two generous skewers of tender lamb and a substantial portion overall.

We especially enjoyed sitting outside in the charming garden, while the interior of the restaurant was equally impressive with its elegant and thoughtfully designed atmosphere. A memorable meal in a beautiful setting.“

This staff knows what they're doing. Excellent night out. The environment is perfect for everyone. Outside dining. Plenty of parking. This will be our spot.“

“I had such a wonderful experience here! From the moment you walk through the door, you're welcomed with a warm greeting and seated with menus right away. The atmosphere was calm and inviting when we arrived, and by the time we left, the restaurant had filled up, which says a lot.

The food came out fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. I ordered the steak platter with scrambled eggs, home fries, and grilled onions, and every bite was flavorful without feeling heavy. I paired it with a caramel latte, and it was the perfect addition to the meal.

One thing I'm especially excited about is their weekend menu, which is available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. It looks amazing, so I'll definitely be coming back to try it.

“Stopped by this Thai restaurant on a road trip with family, their menu seemed authentic and the service was great! I ordered the massaman curry ribs which was their signature dish, on the pricier side but the rib was tender and the sauce was delicious. Their other Thai dishes were also on point. We ordered their pad see ew , fried rice and pork skewer, all of them were great with authenticity. I’d recommend to people who’d like good Thai food.“

“Little disappointed at this place. Saw they had Crispy Beef with Fresh Honey Walnuts Beef with a bed of steamed broccoli in a sweet brown sauce topped with sugared walnuts. Not crispy as from can see in pic. Was this really beef also? Walnuts were plain as well.Steamed Spinach Dumplings were a bit dry . Hunan Dumplings Spinach and beef dumplings topped with spicy peanut sauce. Spicy. I got not spicy but were very good. Would I try again. Yes think I would.“

“The female manager was very nasty to two employees when I was there. She told one of them loud enough for everyone inside the restaurant to hear that he had two strikes and she would send him home and then turned to another worker and said that she was going home too. Wtf, the food was good but that woman needs to go back to the handbook and look at how to speak to employees when patrons are around. I was very uncomfortable and not sure I’ll be back. That is not the way to treat others.“

“Terrific and nostalgic fare. Got Turkey club for my meal with their delicious French fries. The sandwich was good enough to conquer my hunger and I only ate half. Took home the leftovers. My husband had the classic burger with French fries and it was huge and cooked to perfection. He said it was juicy and full of flavor with all the toppings. We both liked that the French fries came in a metal cup container because it kept the temperature longer which allowed us to eat them warm. I chose the green tea iced tea and thought it was perfectly not too sweet. Hubby got plain iced tea and it was unsweetened and terrific too. Prices are comparable to the area with tip just under $60.“

“This restaurant most closely resembles the chinese food you get in nyc, it's good. The food is tastes great. They have a lunch special. It's affordable compared to other "Chinese" restaurants in town. They also deliver.

Parking: Parking along Bloomfield Ave is always tough. I wouldn't recommend double parking. There are paid lots in town.

“Had lunch here today with a friend. Ordered my shawarma bowl and mentioned to the girl at the cashier that my throat hurt and I was thinking of hot tea. She put together a cup of tea with fresh ginger and honey — so thoughtful!! And the food is top notch.“
