“Ronny was absolutely amazing and made our visit to Chevy’s a great experience from start to finish. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine personality immediately made us feel welcomed. He didn’t just provide great service he made sure we felt comfortable, respected, and truly cared for.
What impressed us the most was the way Ronny treated my mom. He went out of his way to make sure she was happy and had everything she needed. His patience, positive attitude, and thoughtful way of helping made her feel special. My mom left Chevy’s with a big smile and kept talking about how wonderful Ronny was and how much she appreciated the way he treated us.
People like Ronny are what make a place stand out. He brings great energy, kindness, and dedication to his work, and it shows through the way he interacts with customers. “Matthew 's Restaurant is 1 of the best restaurants in North NJ if NOT The Best. The food is always Delicious & Service is excellent. Beyond that, the atmosphere or aviance is excellent. The vibe & energy is first rate positive fun & culinary enjoyment. I believe that this fine dining experience is also driven by the owner Matthew who is usually in the restaurant greeting guests & helping out. When you visit Matthew's you'll have a great time and it'll feel like you're on mini-vacation from the stress of every day life while seemingly enjoying the warmth of family. “Definitely one of the most overwhelming and beautiful places that I’ve ever been to try sushi in my whole life, there’s no way to describe how good it was.
We wait a little more of what we expected.
But wait was worth it food was fresh, homemade and delicious, attention it’s def a 1000/10 you feel that you’re in your home, my 5yo daughter mentioned that she was being treated like her grandma treat her (so you can have an idea of how good they were) well, not many words to add.

“I had a private event in the Parlor Room and it was fabulous. Food and drinks were spot on and the service was dynamite. There were 21 of us all together and everyone was well cared for by server Lily and the rest of the awesome staff. I really love the unique atmosphere of the place -warm, classy and comfortable all at once. No boring old chain restaurant vibes here. Everyone had a great time. I was eating pita gyro sandwiches for days after. The gyro meat is a bit salty ngl, but naturally yk. Service was decent, kept refilling the waters (cause the aforementioned salt). But yea it was really good, they said it was for three people and the three ppl in my family (mind you, 600lbs combined) couldn’t even finish it!“

Like many out there, we’ve been feeling the stress of life in isolation, and having a delicious fresh made meal from one of our favorite restaurants was the little slice of normalcy that we desperately needed. Not only did it lift the spirits of everyone in this house, but we have enough leftovers for several more meals. Thank you Ameti’s for serving our area through all of this madness! I’ve only ever tried their chaufa and chicken and it’s absolutely amazing. Their hot green sauce is hot so beware! Absolutely love this place and their drinks are a bit sweet but just a bit of water fixes the problem. The place is always packed, there was a time I went and the line was out till the door so definitely a popular spot amongst the people in the area. You will not be disappointed!“

“We have been customers of this pizzeria for years, which is why this experience was so disappointing and upsetting.

My young son needed to use the bathroom, and when he walked in, he was told he had to buy something first. I understand businesses have rules, but when you see a little boy who clearly needs the bathroom, you should have some basic human compassion.

Not everything should be about money. A business owner should not be so money hungry that they would send a child back out just because he did not buy something first. I ended up paying $5 just so my son could use the bathroom. He told me to take something, and I told him I did not need anything and to just take the $5 for the bathroom.

I really do not like hurting anyone’s business, but this experience was upsetting enough that it makes me want to give a one star review. I hope the owner learns to handle situations like this with more kindness, compassion, and humanity.“

It's easier to order if you can speak Spanish but the staff speak enough English that it's okay.

The special of the day is fantastic. I recommend the fish.

Parking: Street parking is easiest but you can probably park at the city lot down the street or at the post office if you have to.“

It is a small intimate place, which may not get a lot of attention, but the food is terrific and better than almost all of the big fancy places in Northern NJ.
