“Had a fantastic experience at Al Dente in Elmwood Park. This is a great neighborhood Italian restaurant with that warm, family-run feeling that makes a meal here feel much more personal.

The menu has a great selection of classic Italian dishes, from homemade pasta and ravioli to chicken, veal, seafood, and some really good appetizers. The portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh, and everything has that comforting, homemade quality you want from an Italian restaurant. I also really like that it’s BYOB, which makes it a great option for a relaxed dinner.

The ownership was a pleasure to talk to, and I really enjoyed our conversation. You can tell there’s genuine pride in the restaurant and in creating a great experience for their customers.

“I stopped by to watch a game and ended up staying for dinner. The bourbon bacon burger was cooked exactly how I asked, and the loaded waffle fries were crispy and perfect for sharing. The bartenders were friendly, drinks came out quickly, and the atmosphere was energetic without being too loud. Great neighborhood sports bar with solid food and excellent service.“

“Ok, Grant Plater u fukn idiot it's obvious u don't get out to eat much... So d*** f*** any diner in the fun word u go to u get a waffle that can be cut into 4 sections. As far as chicken n Waffles d*** fuk unless u specify fried chicken and waffles, u will get tenders as for the gravy stupid for ur chicken, ur supposed to use syrup with this plate. If you did get fried chicken the cost would go up, duhh let me guess u would b**** about that to. We are from U.K. This was amazing perfectly cooked tasty home made authentic Indian cuisine. We had mocktails ( lavender was refreshing ). The tandoori lamb chops x4 were full meat seasoned beautifully and delicious. All other sides perfect too. Now in U.K. we hate restaurant Indian puddings they are usually bought in and awful/failure. After finding out the chef is the owner and a recipient Michelin star we were convinced to stay,try and this was the first time we have had authentic home made puddings; try Kulfi with rose water & also Indian rice pudding. The whole meal was exceptional great value and we will recommend this restaurant to anyone else visiting New York. Easy to find off Times Square /Broadway. “Found this place during our stay for the US Open. One member of our party was vegan and this place had many vegan friendly options. The vegan eggs Benedict options were impressive and you could not tell it was vegan. I ordered the chicken and egg Benedict which was nice. Love the ambiance and decor of the place.
