I love the ambience of this restaurant. However like all of NY it is extremely cramped, packed like sardines. The hostess was kind enough to seat us without a reservation and told us we had the table for just under 2 hours. We really appreciated that because it was more than enough time. The server was very pleasant and attentive. I ordered the house clam chowder and crab cakes. My friend, the birthday girl, ordered the crab cakes and an entree. Charming and welcoming ambiance, excellent cuisine. The staff - particularly the extraordinary and multilingual young lady of Romanian origin - is very courteous. I highly recommend coming here.
