“This is our 1st time dining at this location because we would go to the Edgewater location but they closed that location. The pizza is delicious as always & the service is excellent! The ingredients are fresh & you can taste the difference between this and other pizza that's made other places. The brick oven is the key and the pizza cooks very quick. You will not be disappointed! “Had a great experience at EVOLI Pizzeria & Bistro in Hackensack. This place really knows how to do New York-style pizza. The crust has a great balance of crispiness and chew, and they have a really good selection of both classic and creative pies. Their signature pizzas give you plenty of options beyond a traditional cheese or pepperoni.

I also really like the approach they take with the food. You can tell there’s a lot of attention to the dough, sauce, cheese, and ingredients, and the menu has some really interesting combinations without losing that classic pizzeria feel.

The owner was a pleasure to talk to. I really enjoyed our conversation, and it’s clear that there’s a lot of pride behind EVOLI and what they’re bringing to Hackensack.

“We eat at Hot Fish quite often, and usually order the same dishes. I was lucky enough to be their "Tasting Panel Foodie" winner, and was invited to try some different items from the menu. If you want to indulge in an unforgettable gastronomic experience, you have to try the Fresh Striped Bass. I ordered it with spicy sauce, but there are six different flavors to chose from. We also ordered the Sliced Beef with Black Pepper. The beef was so tender and juicy, paired with onions and bell peppers in a savory, black pepper sauce. Then we ordered Dry Pot Cabbage, a mouth-watering Sichuan dish that you have to try. For our last course, we had the Yang Chow Fried Rice, the best I have ever tasted. Thank you, Hot Fish. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and the staff and service were exceptional. I highly recommend dining here when you are looking for a great Sichuan experience.“

I forgot the other one’s name but the one that I communicate most with and have actual conversations with for the past few years is named Jacob. He is just a breath of fresh air. I've been to so many different acidy sauce "heartburn" pizzerias, throughout the Bergen County area, and I always need Alkaseltzer, after eating their burned sauced foods. It's terrible, how they reheat and overcook their sauce. But, not this one! This place is the best! By far! Absolutely no heartburn! I have tried many menu items, too. I've been frequently going there, over a year now. Their food is more in the lines of what you'd expect to taste at a fine Italian restaurant. Certainly, not a common pizzeria. Pricing is great, too! This place and the staff of employees, along with the new owner and his kids, deserve every bit of (5) stars! The absolute best around!“

I grew up in Fort Lee, NJ and was spoiled there because the pizza was excellent. Old-style. They have the pineapple and stufflike that..not my thing. LOOK at the MENU! Far more than pizza. I have been ordering food from them for over a decade. ONCE, I think..my delivery took too long. I have eaten there also several times over the years. I used to live around the corner.
