Despite living in Hackensack for a few years, I only recently started going to B&W, and I sure missed out. Everything that I've tried so far has been great. The donuts are incredible and very reasonably priced at around $1.35. The pecan ring was a big hit on Christmas morning, and someone even took my leftover apple horseshoe another Hackensack culinary gem.
Bottom line: Delicious heavy crumb cake delivered to me as a gift by use of the Goldbelly app/site. Quite a bit of settling occurred with the crumb topping but did not affect how tasty and moist it was, I enjoyed it. This bakery has been a family favorite for years. We visit time and time again for two standouts. the (heavy) crumb cake which is delicious. the second is the cheese twist. A delicious cream cheese filled pastry with a drizzle of glaze. the cake portion is soft and not too sweet. The cheese melts on your mouth. Best bakery around
