“This is by far the best chicken and rice spot in Bergen County and has far surpassed Halal Guys for the freshness, quality, taste, and portions in its platters. I discovered it as a door dasher and their gave it a try and maaaaannnn I was pleasantly suprised. Plus I tried the wings, as a wing aficionados and HOT DAMN, their Buffalo flavored wings are off the chain. They dont do the BS breaded wings so many places do these days. It just buffalo styled wings. I have also tried their shakes - cinnamon toast crunch and it's the 💣diggity. Such a large menu that I need to try more stuff.

Not only is the food great but the service is top notch. Hopefully you get to meet the wonderful and beautiful lady name Darlene that works the front. She is absolutely incredible.”

“Okay so I do think this is a chicken and burger joint now combined together on the outside of the building. I really didn't notice the time for the chicken place. It was any small corner lit up attached to a burger place. With that said I am not mad at it as I ordered the bulgogi burger which was so good. Very soft and flavorful and I also ordered a order of 10-piece wings. I split it between soy, garlic and sweet and spicy. Now for me I am a Korean chicken lover and I just did it fully get the full experience of Korean Chicken meaning that in every bite it is very crunchy and it is packed with the sauce flavor on top for me. I did not get that full effect and that's really why. I love Korean f and wings that are usually double fried so they get a very nice crunch and the sauce is usually nicely styled on now. There was something wrong with the sauce but I would have liked to have a little bit more of it as well as more of a crunch. I would definitely come back here. I did notice that the burger place and the chicken plays. I have menus but a little bit different. I did order from Uber eats so I didn't really notice that at the time until I really checked out your iron. They do have the tablet where you can order from as soon as you get there. That has Uber just did for both places. However I was very happy with the wings. I got 10 pieces which I think you can order. I only ordered through the bloomberger site and they were nice sizes.”

“My only complaint is that the lone worker today, when I was paying with a credit card (without tap) took my card and tried to use tap. Before she took my card I was going to put it into the card processor. When I pointed out that it doesn’t have tap, she (2x’s) typed my card information into the register screen and it was declined (plenty of credit was available because I got gas with it shortly after). I then used my debit card which she just took from me and again tried to use tap (again not a feature on that card either). She was finally able to put my card information for the debit card and it went through. If she had let me put my card in in the first place there would have been no problem with the original transaction attempt. I feel some of the staff might need better/more training on using the register.”

“I recently moved to the area and Ive been on the hunt for the best food in the area - one of which was finding my new go to korean fried chicken place. This place did not disappoint and the high reviews left here are worth the hype. Ordered the spicy soy garlic + fries combo and it was deeeelicious. Fresh, hot, with the perfect amount of spice and the wings are bigger than what you'd get at a chain fried chicken restaurant. I also upgraded my fries to the truffle parmesean - truffle isnt as outstanding of a flavor but the parm was pretty good. The service is also so nice! Ill definitely be back to try their other food~”

“Great fresh halal Mexican food. At this point my baby is going to come out wearing a sombrero because of how often I eat here 😂. In all honesty, the food slaps and I always leave feeling satisfied. Chicken burritos are also delish, I personally avoid the California burrito because I feel it’s too salty.”

“I stopped in to their retail shop. You would have to know it's there. It's an unassuming tiny little place on a dead end road in an industrial complex. I almost wasn't sure if it was even open. But a nice young man came out when I walked in, and I ordered a 1lb of mixed cookies. He asked what flavors I liked to make sure I got some good ones.

The cookies were all fantastic. Very flavorful without anise or fake almond or whatever it is they usually load Italian cookies up with. I think the best one we had was the chocolate macaroons though.

This is definitely a must-stop bakery any time you find yourself around Hackensack.”

If you want to indulge in an unforgettable gastronomic experience, you have to try the Fresh Striped Bass. I ordered it with spicy sauce, but there are six different flavors to chose from. We also ordered the Sliced Beef with Black Pepper. The beef was so tender and juicy, paired with onions and bell peppers in a savory, black pepper sauce. Then we ordered Dry Pot Cabbage, a mouth-watering Sichuan dish that you have to try. For our last course, we had the Yang Chow Fried Rice, the best I have ever tasted. Thank you, Hot Fish. I called with an odd request today, there a local guy, probably homeless but struggling even if he’s not. I always say hi to him when I see him and if I have something that can help him I try to. Today was very hot and humid he asked me for a water or of if I could grab him one, and I was in a rush. I called Marty’s and let them know I’d just picked up my order and if they could there’s someone who could use a little kindness and a glass of water. They didn’t hesitate to help and thanked me for alerting them. Most businesses today look at the customer as a source of revenue. Marty’s treats you like you’re getting a fair deal, with people who are happy to be able to serve you, it’s really refreshing.”

I did not get that full effect and that's really why. I love Korean f and wings that are usually double fried so they get a very nice crunch and the sauce is usually nicely styled on now. There was something wrong with the sauce but I would have liked to have a little bit more of it as well as more of a crunch. I would definitely come back here. I did notice that the burger place and the chicken plays. I have menus but a little bit different. I did order from Uber eats so I didn't really notice that at the time until I really checked out your iron. They do have the tablet where you can order from as soon as you get there. That has Uber just did for both places. However I was very happy with the wings. I got 10 pieces which I think you can order. I only ordered through the bloomberger site and they were nice sizes.”

“My only complaint is that the lone worker today, when I was paying with a credit card (without tap) took my card and tried to use tap. Before she took my card I was going to put it into the card processor. When I pointed out that it doesn’t have tap, she (2x’s) typed my card information into the register screen and it was declined (plenty of credit was available because I got gas with it shortly after). I then used my debit card which she just took from me and again tried to use tap (again not a feature on that card either). She was finally able to put my card information for the debit card and it went through. If she had let me put my card in in the first place there would have been no problem with the original transaction attempt. I feel some of the staff might need better/more training on using the register.”

“The staff working at drive through is very nice. I ordered kids meal and spicy chicken sandwiches meals and other things. Three bags of food were delivered to May car on a raining day. Recommending the half lemonade and half sweet tea drink. Also recommend the Chick-fil-A sauce 🍔”

“Tikka Shack is a fantastic new spot with a cute atmosphere and great seating. We loved everything we tried, from the unique paneer naan taco to the flavorful chicken tikka and vindaloo bowls. The mango lassi and masala chais were excellent, and the tandoor tikka and pepperoni pizzas we got to-go were delicious. The service was top-notch, and the host was so sweet. Highly recommend this place for a delicious and memorable bite! Highly recommended for indian fusion comfort food. Not too oily and greasy like regular indian restaurants.”

“This place isn't fancy at all. It is located inside an office building with a large window that overlooks the Fairleigh Dickinson University Hackensack campus. They serve absolutely delicious, mouth watering kosher dairy Mexican light foods and American style breakfast foods and salads. We've had many of the menu options and everything has been very good. Unfortunately, they close at 4PM Sunday through Friday (closed Saturdays and Jewish holidays) but it's worth hurrying there for an early dinner because the food is so consistently good. (The Oaxaca sopes are out of this world😋!) It's under the reliable hechsher of the RCBC (Rabbinical Council of Bergen County) and a mashgiach is on premises. The wait staff are all pleasant and helpful. It's a small place, so I'd recommend calling in advance for more than eight people. There is abundant parking on the street or in the parking lot across the street from the building. This is a handicap accessible venue.”

“I came across this place on my way to the post office. I’ve eaten here 2x now. I love the vegan options. The flavorful samosas(2) that come with a dipping sauce that have a kick to it and are great to start with. The already made stews are served with rice or roti. I chose roti this time. It’s delicious either way. It’s best served hot so eat in the restaurant!
Service is always friendly and professional.”

On Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026, at 11:30am, I decided on my day off to go out for some food. I passed Albert's Mofongo, thinking no thanks... due to really bad customer service from the front staff and food that was okay at best. But I ended up turning around and wanted to see if it was any better vs my last few visits.

The front staff greeted me when I walked in and gave me a tour of their buffet. They were warm and welcoming.

Next is the food, 10 out of 10, such a HUGE difference from last year! It was so delicious and not overly salted at all.

Albert or whoever owns this restaurant, the front staff, cooks, and management have done an incredible job changing this restaurant compared to how it was last year. I will 100% come back to this restaurant.”

“NEW 6/26 I had to update my review to 5 stars for service because I didn’t see that it was an option because although they were figuring out the line in the beginning of opening the team here stole my heart!!! the manager woman literally is a array of sunshine that gives everybody love beams, good vibes and just a classy woman L! It’s 517 on a Monday afternoon and she just served me again and she just makes me smile every time I come in there! There are two gentlemen who typically take my order as well. One has a ponytail and oh gosh the other guy’s name I’m not sure of but these three people are probably my favorite people on any given !!! they roll with the punches thrown at them and will make you smile every single time they take your order or you come up to the window!! OLD REVIEW we have been sitting in line for 22 minutes and this happens often! What’s weird is the line was so long and they’re just putting in the food when we get to the window so they are severely understaffed it seems like.”
