I recently indulged in a sushi lunch at Mei Hibachi, and once again, they exceeded my expectations in every aspect. This is a solid neighborhood hibachi place. The chefs are good and the service is great. Food is good and the ingredients are fresh. Don’t leave a review for a 5* restaurant when you’re not paying 5* prices, people. This place is great for the money.
Not terrible food but cleanliness is suspect. The waitress was efficient but not terribly friendly. All the staff seems crabby. I ordered a Thai plate and my husband ordered a bento box. Both were rather delicious but there is some odd undertone there. The bathroom was also dark so hard to tell if it was actually clean. There are few lights on, it seems many lights are broken or need new lightbulbs. It's not cheap so I never understand how a place next to a major store would not...read full review
