“Every time I asked my co-workers to eat or order filipino food they're always wants me to order it with you guys. Food are great! Always delecious, only disappointed with the cashier/receptionist. Today we order our lunch with some halo2x and I asked for free soup (sinigang) which is posted on their Menu But she said(Wala na) means no more,to find out in the store that there's more. Please just be honest. I can pay for my own soup if you just tell me. Thanks!”

“Some of the best pho I’ve ever had, especially the garlic ginger one. Many vegan options as well. The sticky black rice dessert with perfectly ripened fresh mango was also excellent. What would have made it perfect for me would have been jasmine rice instead of plain and jasmine tea. Well worth the visit in my opinion.”

“While at a friend's house, she suggested we order from Mario's in Maywood. I had never had their food, but my friend and I have the same taste, so I trust her judgement. She suggested I order the chicken parm. I ordered a hero, and she ordered the dinner. As an Italian who makes her own sauce feom scratch, I can be very picky when ordering things with sauce, a lot of places give me agita. Mario's sauce is excellent, and the chicken cutlets was as well. I couldn't finish because its a huge hero, so I brought the rest home and my picky son ate the other half. He immediately asked where we ordered from, because he loved it too. Mario's will definitely be on our list of places to get good food. The only issue was my friends meal came with a salad, but it wasn't delivered with the order. Other than that, I highly recommend Mario's! Looking forward to trying their pizza!”

“Looks can be deceiving, because when I first walked in it was a little underwhelming. The quality of food here, however, is exceptional and noteworthy. Everything was fresh, high quality, and seasoned to perfection. This time, I got Jalea and it did not disappoint. And, it’s enough for 2 unless you are a lumberjack or pro athlete. I wasn’t even hungry but finished everything and held back from licking the plate. Now I need to start walking. Highly, highly recommend!”

“This is what we call “fine dining.” We did not reserve the main dining room, as one of our party did not care for prix fixe. We opted for the lounge as you can have from the menu or prix fixe. When you first arrive, you are greeted by a pleasant hat/coat check lady. We arrived early and said we would wait for the other couple and were invited to wait in the intimate cocktail area. The cocktails were superb and served with a house-made cocktail snack. When the guests of the party arrived, we were escorted to the lounge area. An intimate area with about six to eight tables. After being seated and greeted by the head server (maître d' or captain), who explained our options, we all opted for the menu. After looking at all the choices, we decided to split two appetizers. Even though the number of items on each choice was uneven, the server said, “Let me take care of it". And then beautifully presented plates arrived with equal portions. And it only got better from there. The entrées were each explained in detail, including their origins and how they were prepared. I could go on and on. The fish, beef, duck breast, and pork were everything we expected and more. We all commented, maybe the best we have had. The house made desserts were perfect. I had possibly the best cheese plate I have ever had. The entire staff of servers were professionals and enhanced the evening. The most disappointing part of the evening was when a guest entering the dining room (after removing his overcoat) came in dressed in Dockers and a short-sleeve polo. This is an insult to the owner, the chef, and the entire staff at this fine restaurant. But maybe he was an elite or a “special” person. We all said we would be back.”

The food was delicious with the right amount of spice levels for someone who liked spicy food. The restaurant filled up pretty quickly on a Saturday evening, so reservations are always a good idea. “Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.”
