“Just found it on the way to our hotel when we stop at dominoes pizza ,so I just enter the restaurant and order burns road chutney paratha roll and mayo garlic roll and falooda for me and my husband. And don’t regret at all . Amazing food. And having authentic falooda after so long. I must say falooda was actually the hit better than Toronto. (We are visiting newyork from toronto.) very near by to our uncle’s home. So we will definitely stop by next visit to newyork for falooda for sure.“

“Best tacos in Jersey that I’ve had so far. We ordered chicken tacos Birria style and they were so good. The girl taking orders was really kind and helped us with our order and brought our food to the table. Their salsa verde is good too. $35 for 7 tacos and a jarrito.

“So I just had iftaar with their tikka paratha roll that I had got last Sunday evening. It just tasted so good even though I ate it cold straight from the fridge. 😊 It didn't taste as good when I had ordered it on site. Then, without me even asking for anything, they remade it and gave it to me to take it home with me even though I had told them I was full. 😊😊 The largest portions I have ever seen anywhere, good food, clean, best interior and decor, excellent service. I have yet to see a BETTER or even equally nice place in NYC. 🤍 Jo baat hay. Food makes/breaks the mood.“

“Tried DHC and honestly it did not disappoint! The chicken is tender, juicy and flavourful. The meal options are not too expensive either! It was so good we came again the next day. Also it is halal certified!

It's also worth trying their slushe drinks! So much better than the 7/11 stores.

Only negative is that there is not enough seating and it can get super busy. It is a 10/10 and would recommend.“

“Having a meal ordered from Shah's in Inwood is like having Thanksgiving dinner with every order because the food is outstanding, consistent, fresh, and the service is excellent!! My son and I have been ordering from Shah's 2 - 3 times a week for the past 8 months because the restaurant never fails. My son orders the meat combo and I order either the falafel or fish platter. Both of us order everything: white, hot, and barbecue sauce; chick peas and black beans. In addition to the cukes and tomatoes, customers can also add olives and pickled red cabbage on their meal!! Tiebah and Thaliah are always welcoming, and always remember our names and our orders. We are never disappointed!!!“

“It's going to sound like I know this guy but I don't. I go to Halal guys, but the smell from this truck just got the best of me. All 3 sauces, the rice, the veggies... STELLAR! “I went with my bro to try this chicken spot and it was top. I ordered the big back burger and it crushed !! The combination of all the toppings plus the special big back sauce was so good. My bro ordered the Alito fries , I tried some of the chicken - soft and tasty. We shared waffles and chicken as well. The waffles were great. The plus thing - all of it was halal! “I absolutely love this place! Everything is so nice, the prices are really good, and the food is always fresh and consistent. My favorite dish is definitely the meat burek—it’s always fresh and delicious. Their desserts are also great, especially the tres leches!

The staff is super, super nice. They’re always friendly, smiling, and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. They also stay open pretty late, which is a huge plus.

“My husband and I went to Forefeathers tonight for dinner, it was excellent. The chicken tenders were delicious, the pink dipping sauce was very good. The chicken sandwich that my husband had to amazing! Coleslaw was delicious, plenty of sauce and pickles. Fries were excellent….definitely will go back.“

The flavourful meats with fresh veggies and feta, with or without sauces, all combined with the unique bread is a great new dinning experience unlike anything else. “This has become my go to halal spot in Harlem (Across from Harlem Hospital). The variety and food is good, but the customer service is top tier! Also, you can definitely get some foods customized and not feel like it’s an issue! Harlem’s biggest chicken wraps!“

“I’ve been coming here for a long time, and this used to be one of our favorite halal carts. We would regularly drive in from Long Island with groups of friends and family, especially for the falafel, which was always outstanding.

Unfortunately, since Hamza left, I’ve noticed a significant decline in both the service and the overall quality of the food. The owner has always been friendly and seems like a genuinely good person, so I’m not sure exactly what’s changed behind the scenes, but it just doesn’t feel the same anymore.

Today we came as a family, and there were three new employees working. It was pretty clear they weren’t happy to be there, and the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. We did have a larger order, but in the past that was never an issue—we were always greeted warmly and appreciated as customers.

I’m leaving this review because I genuinely want to see this place succeed. The food and service used to be exceptional, and I hope they can get back to the standard that made so many of us loyal customers.“

“Stopped by for dinner based on reviews here - the person at the food truck didn't disappoint - he was warm & friendly and was clearly keen to get our business. My daughter took the Chicken over rice (she thought it was better than the one I had previously) and I went for the Cheeseburger with a side of fries. $26 in all for this food.

While we were waiting to order, the generator died and he immediately stepped out and switched over. The surrounding of the truck is clean, don't have people hanging around which is a good thing. If I am back in the area, will stop by and try their fish over rice or falafel.“
