It just tasted so good even though I ate it cold straight from the fridge. 😊 It didn't taste as good when I had ordered it on site. Then, without me even asking for anything, they remade it and gave it to me to take it home with me even though I had told them I was full. 😊😊 The largest portions I have ever seen anywhere, good food, clean, best interior and decor, excellent service. “Tried DHC and honestly it did not disappoint! The chicken is tender, juicy and flavourful. The meal options are not too expensive either! It was so good we came again the next day. Also it is halal certified!

It's also worth trying their slushe drinks! So much better than the 7/11 stores.

Only negative is that there is not enough seating and it can get super busy. It is a 10/10 and would recommend.“

“I didn’t know what I was missing - Uyghur Lagman. It is slightly different than Uzbek, but certainly authentic. The hand-pulled noodles here made all the difference, as did the kind and hospitable young woman at the counter. Wish I lived nearby so I could come here more often!“

“Honestly this is my first time having authentic Moroccan food, and the brother recommended me to have KousKous. And I chose the lamb. The KousKous was incredibly fluffy, delicate, and flavorful. My god it was amazing. The lamb was also pretty good, it was super tender and tasty. In my option though there was a bit too much veggies in the dish, but overall it was a great dish. I liked it a lot. Overall honest review I’d give this experience like a 9/10. Next time I want to try their Tagine! Insha’Allah“

“They cater to your request. The menu is deep with options and the chicken is always fresh. Now as far as the gyro is concerned the combo over rice is on spot. Even if you want it over salad its good. I recommend it if you're up on Jerome Ave by Gunhill road....“

“Good price and quality. I always order it with the sauce on the side and one time they forgot the sauce and it still tasted amazing without sauce. I often order it without sauce now lol. Other places drench everything in sauce to mask the taste of low quality meat but not here. The meat is great quality and very flavorful on its own.“

My son and I have been ordering from Shah's 2 - 3 times a week for the past 8 months because the restaurant never fails. My son orders the meat combo and I order either the falafel or fish platter. Both of us order everything: white, hot, and barbecue sauce; chick peas and black beans. In addition to the cukes and tomatoes, customers can also add olives and pickled red cabbage on their meal!! Tiebah and Thaliah are always welcoming, and always remember our names and our orders. We are never disappointed!!!“

“I’ve been coming here for a long time, and this used to be one of our favorite halal carts. We would regularly drive in from Long Island with groups of friends and family, especially for the falafel, which was always outstanding.

Unfortunately, since Hamza left, I’ve noticed a significant decline in both the service and the overall quality of the food. The owner has always been friendly and seems like a genuinely good person, so I’m not sure exactly what’s changed behind the scenes, but it just doesn’t feel the same anymore.

Today we came as a family, and there were three new employees working. It was pretty clear they weren’t happy to be there, and the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. We did have a larger order, but in the past that was never an issue—we were always greeted warmly and appreciated as customers.

I’m leaving this review because I genuinely want to see this place succeed. The food and service used to be exceptional, and I hope they can get back to the standard that made so many of us loyal customers.“

“It's going to sound like I know this guy but I don't. I go to Halal guys, but the smell from this truck just got the best of me. All 3 sauces, the rice, the veggies... STELLAR! The line wasn't unreasonable, there were about 5 people ahead and I still got my food within 15 mins. Honestly, this is one of those plates of food you take a cab for.

“I absolutely love this place! Everything is so nice, the prices are really good, and the food is always fresh and consistent. My favorite dish is definitely the meat burek—it’s always fresh and delicious. Their desserts are also great, especially the tres leches!

The staff is super, super nice. They’re always friendly, smiling, and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. They also stay open pretty late, which is a huge plus.

Overall, they really deliver on what they promise every time. Great food, great prices, great service, and a really welcoming atmosphere. Definitely one of my favorite Bosnian spots in the city.“

The flavourful meats with fresh veggies and feta, with or without sauces, all combined with the unique bread is a great new dinning experience unlike anything else. “I went with my bro to try this chicken spot and it was top. I ordered the big back burger and it crushed !! The combination of all the toppings plus the special big back sauce was so good. My bro ordered the Alito fries , I tried some of the chicken - soft and tasty. We shared waffles and chicken as well. The waffles were great. The plus thing - all of it was halal! I let that be known to the restaurant and received a small refund. “Stopped by for dinner based on reviews here - the person at the food truck didn't disappoint - he was warm & friendly and was clearly keen to get our business. My daughter took the Chicken over rice (she thought it was better than the one I had previously) and I went for the Cheeseburger with a side of fries. $26 in all for this food.

While we were waiting to order, the generator died and he immediately stepped out and switched over. The surrounding of the truck is clean, don't have people hanging around which is a good thing. If I am back in the area, will stop by and try their fish over rice or falafel.“

“The atmosphere and service is excellent, food is delicious and authentic. One concern, though, is they served spoiled lentil with mutton rosh. It was replaced with fresh one upon bringing it to thier attention. Kabli palao and mutton rosh are recommended. Naan is also fresh, fluffy and yummy.“
