“First, I have to say that this place is amazing!! We love it and the staff/service are great too. We have been going for a long time to buy from the bakery section but to actually sit and eat there, it’s been three times. Food is great, prices are great, and on Fridays and Saturdays they have live entertainment. They only negative is that the third time we went there it was packed and no tables were available. We were told we would receive a text so we sat outside in the car. We then noticed that a group of 3 were seated as soon as they walked in and a couple walked in and were taken to a table right away when we questioned the hostess she said nothing and smiled so I asked again why didn’t we receive a text and why were those people seated before us and she said the table took a few minutes to be ready which still didn’t make sense. We sat outside waiting for almost 15 minutes and others were seated right away. Mistakes happen and so we gave her the benefit of the doubt. We also tried to pay with a $50 Visa gift card and the cashier did not know how to do it so we had to pay with our debit. She claims it was declined but it has $50 and we called from there to prove it. Overall I still gave the restaurant as a whole a 5 because this is the first time today, 1/20/2024, that we had a semi negative experience. I definitely recommend this place.”
“Visited for dinner with my family. We ordered the Mezze dip platter to share, and it was the highlight of the meal. Very generous and comes with hot assorted breads.We ordered entrées to share. The schnitzel, pargiot, lamb kofta, chicken shish kebab were delicious, and we had sides of Israeli salad, green beans, rice, and hummus with beef. Everything was hot and fresh. We had a few pictures of lemonade of homemade lemonade with mint. We had chocolate mousse for dessert.Service was excellent. Atmosphere is great for families. This is some of the best high-quality kosher food, and I would recommend for any occasion :)”

“I visited during the grand opening special and ordered a bubble tea and a taro bubble tea! I think both tasted good, nothing special, but I did like the chewy texture of the boba! I also thought the staff were very welcoming and nice! They gave me a boba plushy keychain and a donut as part of their promotion! The space is a bit small inside but has a few stools to sit! This is a great addition to the bubble tea options in this area!”

The atmosphere is super chill and totally worth it. My family and I love to grab a few pastries to take home, and now it has become our go-to gift store. Whenever we have an event or an office meeting, we travel all the way from New City to Englewood without hesitation.The only details that sometimes disappoints us is that at the end of the day, the staff's attitude or vibe is not as nice as in the mornings. We totally understand that it's the end of the day and they want to go home, but it would be great if they could maintain their friendly attitude throughout the day., and that it only opens at 8 am, so work commute to grab a coffee becomes hard. However, around 90% of our experiences there have been nice, and we look forward to visiting again soon”
“THE BEST! gelato. This was the best idea for Englewood! I shouldn't rave because it will only get busier, and there is often a line. The experience begins when you step into Bianco Nero. It's as if you stepped into Italy. They offer some delicious flavors , especially chocolate hazelnut. Some flavors are rotated so that there are surprises to entice you. Of course, they have sprinkles and fun cones in different sizes and cups, but the best part is the GELATO!”

We ordered a pitcher of the ‘Full of Grape' and the mussels appetizer from the Chef's Special. Both tasted great and the appetizer had generous portions. Unfortunately, we found the entrees to be just ok, nothing really remarkable considering the meal started off with a great drink and appetizer. We ordered the jumbo shrimp and chicken scarpariello. At the end of the meal we asked for our check but they surprised us with a complimentary panna cotta dessert which was delicious. The place is small and would have been nice for a romantic anniversary dinner date except it got too loud when the restaurant started to fill up which made it difficult to carry out a conversation without competing with the noise of other guests talking. I would give this place another try and perhaps ordering something else from their menu would improve my opinion of the place. The service is really exceptional and would be the main reason I would try coming back.”

“Cassie's is an excellent little Italian pizzeria in Englewood, NJ. We dined as a large group (three long tables). Food was excellent and service was efficient. Quaint atmosphere. We had the caesar salad, house chopped salad, fried cheese sticks, pepperoni pizza, rigatoni with meat sauce and chicken parmigiana, all served family style. Food was so good we ordered a takeout the next night! REALLY enjoyed the pasta and fresh basil on the pizza. Manager was onsite and genuinely took pride in his restaurant. If in the area, I recommend.”

Pictured is the Goodfellas Sushi Roll with spicy yellowtail and lemon. A must try! So fresh and delicious. The sushi pizza was a fun take on spicy tuna. My absolute favorite were the soup dumplings, they are made fresh to order, so be patient, as they take about 20 minutes. The best I've ever had! Steamed to perfection. I had the green tea but I wanna try the Lychee Martini next time as we will for sure be coming back.”

On day one we walked into this diner to pass some time while we waited and ordered breakfast. It was a typical NJ diner and the food was fine. I don't usually write reviews but felt like I really needed to mention our 2 waitresses Hannah and Vanessa. They were so welcoming and friendly and kept making sure we had everything we needed. They let us stay at our table for as long as we needed. We continued to go to this diner every morning for 3 days. Hannah and Vanessa were there each day and were just as welcoming every day. It meant a lot to us. So this review is for them. They were amazing and made a difficult time a little easier. Thank you.”

“My wife and I met another couple for dinner last night at roses. I was searching for a restaurant on yelp in the Englewood area as it was halfway between our friends and I. Made a reservation for 530 and when we showed up we were the only customers in the restaurant. not a lot of atmosphere, but clean. The menu looked interesting. We ordered hummus & Babaganoush To share, I had the mixed grill, my friend had the Rosies mixed grill. My wife had the Shawarma and her other friend had the chicken kebab. Everything was fresh, moist, and excellent, particularly the Shawarma. One other family of three came in while we're eating, but otherwise, the restaurant was empty. Our server was attentive and respectful, and took good care of us. He told us that they are usually very crowded on the weekends - understandable since it was Monday of a holiday weekend. We will definitely be back again !”

“This is by far the best IHOP in the area. We cross the GW Bridge from Riverdale to go here, rather than the IHOP a mile away in the Bronx. The food is cooked well, the scrambled eggs are creamy, and they serve fresh-squeezed orange juice. Moreover, it is open 24 hours and is the only local restaurant in the area that isn't a diner.”

“I'm all about trying new things and during a random stroll in Englewood I walked into Gong Cha. It was a quiet afternoon and so it wasn't too busy but I've always wanted to try the drinks they were advertising. From the minute I walked in I was greeted by the staff member who allowed me to take my time reviewing the menu to finalize my decision. I ended up going with the passionfruit green tea and I promise you, you won't regret trying it! It was so tasteful and the fact I got to decide my sugar levels within it was great. It was actually a bit comical when asked what sugar level I wanted because the level wording confused me but the staff member educated me on what she meant and I was super excited to try my drink. It was super refreshing and thirst quenching and I highly recommend it if you're in the area to try it out.”

“I was passing through town and I needed a place to work for the whole day. Glad I picked a Panera instead of a local coffee shop. They were nice and left me alone and did not get upset for being there for 8+ hours. Almost every table has outlets and tables were big for my work space and extra monitor.Every hour or so they gave out some free samples and walked around the restaurant. A great location. Happy to be here.”

She laughed, and that cleared up everything, and she even used it back to make me feel less silly which was the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen. I actually walked out with the biggest smile on my face because of that woman, she made my day.I’ve worked in the food business for over 20 years and in management and I have to say, you don’t find service like that anywhere anymore. If that was anywhere else I would’ve gotten a lot of attitude and frustration. Pictured is the Goodfellas Sushi Roll with spicy yellowtail and lemon. A must try! So fresh and delicious. The sushi pizza was a fun take on spicy tuna. My absolute favorite were the soup dumplings, they are made fresh to order, so be patient, as they take about 20 minutes. The best I've ever had! Steamed to perfection. I had the green tea but I wanna try the Lychee Martini next time as we will for sure be coming back.”
“We celebrated my son’s third birthday party here and highly recommend this place. The space is fun for kids this age and very clean. The decorator did a fantastic job with our requested theme - she is extremely detail oriented and very pleasant to work with. She also made a beautiful balloon arch that was well worth the cost. It was a very smooth process planning the birthday - the website outlines it very clearly and communication with the venue was never an issue if I had a question, concern or request. We appreciated the professionalism of the staff and their recommended “flow” the day of - they’ve thought through all the details so you don’t have to. “My husband and I were in Englewood with another family member who was going through a difficult 3 day medical procedure so needless to say we all were a little stressed and anxious. On day one we walked into this diner to pass some time while we waited and ordered breakfast. It was a typical NJ diner and the food was fine. I don't usually write reviews but felt like I really needed to mention our 2 waitresses Hannah and Vanessa. They were so welcoming and friendly and kept making sure we had everything we needed. They let us stay at our table for as long as we needed. We continued to go to this diner every morning for 3 days. Hannah and Vanessa were there each day and were just as welcoming every day. It meant a lot to us. So this review is for them. They were amazing and made a difficult time a little easier. Thank you.”

We totally understand that it's the end of the day and they want to go home, but it would be great if they could maintain their friendly attitude throughout the day., and that it only opens at 8 am, so work commute to grab a coffee becomes hard. However, around 90% of our experiences there have been nice, and we look forward to visiting again soon”
“First, I have to say that this place is amazing!! We love it and the staff/service are great too. We have been going for a long time to buy from the bakery section but to actually sit and eat there, it’s been three times. Food is great, prices are great, and on Fridays and Saturdays they have live entertainment. They only negative is that the third time we went there it was packed and no tables were available. We were told we would receive a text so we sat outside in the car. We then noticed that a group of 3 were seated as soon as they walked in and a couple walked in and were taken to a table right away when we questioned the hostess she said nothing and smiled so I asked again why didn’t we receive a text and why were those people seated before us and she said the table took a few minutes to be ready which still didn’t make sense. We sat outside waiting for almost 15 minutes and others were seated right away. Mistakes happen and so we gave her the benefit of the doubt. We also tried to pay with a $50 Visa gift card and the cashier did not know how to do it so we had to pay with our debit. She claims it was declined but it has $50 and we called from there to prove it. Overall I still gave the restaurant as a whole a 5 because this is the first time today, 1/20/2024, that we had a semi negative experience. I definitely recommend this place.”

“THE BEST! gelato. This was the best idea for Englewood! I shouldn't rave because it will only get busier, and there is often a line. The experience begins when you step into Bianco Nero. It's as if you stepped into Italy. They offer some delicious flavors , especially chocolate hazelnut. Some flavors are rotated so that there are surprises to entice you. Of course, they have sprinkles and fun cones in different sizes and cups, but the best part is the GELATO!”

“Jackson Hole easily makes one of the best burgers I've ever had, tied to Choripan Rodizio in Hackensack. Atmosphere is like a 50s-60s time period encapsulated in a diner. My only complaint is that they do not take card, perhaps sticking to the old-style aesthetic a little too closely, but its not enough to hinder the experience.”
