“Firehouse Subs of Englewood truly went above and beyond in providing exceptional service and delicious lunch options for our senior level Girl Scout troop workshop at BCC.When planning our event, we reached out for lunch options, and we were impressed by their prompt response and willingness to accommodate our needs. The lunch box options they offered were perfect for our workshop, providing a convenient and satisfying meal for all. Each lunch box contained a variety of options, including a sub, cookies, and chips, allowing everyone to choose their preferred combination. I opted for the tuna lunch box, and I was delighted by how fresh and flavorful the sub was. The cookies and chips were also a hit, providing the perfect accompaniment to the main course.Beyond the delicious food, the service provided by Firehouse Subs of Englewood was outstanding. The manager & staff were friendly, attentive, and efficient, ensuring that every aspect of our experience ran smoothly. They even went the extra mile to ensure that dietary restrictions and preferences were accommodated, which was greatly appreciated by our group.Whether you're hosting a workshop, meeting, or any other event, you can count on Firehouse Subs of Englewood to provide a memorable and satisfying dining experience. Thank you to the entire team for helping make our Girl Scout workshop a success!Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free“
“I was passing through town and I needed a place to work for the whole day. Glad I picked a Panera instead of a local coffee shop. They were nice and left me alone and did not get upset for being there for 8+ hours. Almost every table has outlets and tables were big for my work space and extra monitor.Every hour or so they gave out some free samples and walked around the restaurant. A great location. Happy to be here.“
“I went to Rome in October 2023 and I wasn't able to eat the famous Italian panino, as the queue was huge and I didn't have much time. But I took advantage and when I was in NYC 2024 I went to the Times Square store and ate The Odd Couple, wonderful!!!!“
“I got myself a hold of their "The Bomb" sandwich and at $25, it definitely is legit. Heavy, solid sandwich with tons of meats, cheese, and dressing. Can't speak to anything else other than this sandwich is worth trying if you're nearby.“
“Don’t let the outside fool you, always walked past but the inside has a whole different atmosphere. It’s rather lovely and reminds me of France/Italy, fresh flowers and staff is amazing! Not to mention how amazing the food is! Some of the best food in Astoria, heaven for vegetarians. I’m not even vegetarian and the Charred broccoli panini is one of the best things and I’m not even vegetarian. Must try in Astoria“
“Ordered the Italian hero, and they threw in a tuna roll too, absolutely recommend you give it a try, get away from the chain shops and try a real nyc deli! Fair price for a sandwich on the move, the business is 35 year old and lasted for a reason! All the best catch you next time!“
“- If your looking for one of the best burgers you ever had, or just something to stand out from the onslaught of restaurants in Times Square area, Dark Side Of The Moon is the place to visit. Not only is it one the best names in restaurant history, it is one of the best burgers I've had nationwide. What really stood out was their choice of exotic meats. You can choose from alligator sausage, kangaroo, bison, elk, camel and yak burgers and they even have wild boar tacos. The yak burger stood up to their claim that it is the best meat they offer. Never have I had such a flavorful burger. Who knew yak would be so delicious. The owner was not only the host but also the server and worked hard to make the experience memorable. It's always a pleasure to see an owner who cares enough to work the trenches to assure his diners leave happy and satisfied. Will definitely return as there is a plethora of menu options still to try. If you have a chance to stop by and try their burgers I suggest you do just that.“
“Nuru is very friendly and gives a good customer service. Every time I go there he knows what I want and how I want my sandwich. Quick service; the line move very fast with him. Also the Mexican man offer a very good customer service and he’s friendly too. Keep the good work!!! Thank you guys. ??????“
“I was around the area and I stopped by this place to grab a sandwich. By the time I stepped in the two employees welcomed me with a warm smile. I placed a to-go order of the turkey meatball sub. I waited for almost ten minutes while they were prepping my sandwich. The place was very clean and organized and my sandwich was delicious! Good job guys“
“I have lived around the area for many years, and never have I tried a better Itlian hero than at Nick's. You are paying for quality - you can tell by the second you take the first bite. A sandwich is as good as the bread, theirs is fresh and perfect. Nick's is a MUST TRY!“
“My boyfriend and I went out to eat today, we always love supporting small businesses. We decided to check this place out and we loved it, the environment was very nice, the food was great. I loved the drink that I got, I bought the raspberry lime beverage and it was amazing, it reminded me of my favorite childhood drink. I also ordered a bacon, egg and cheese on a cinnamon raisin bagel, it was delicious. I would definitely recommend this establishment to any other couple, we really loved our experience and I look forward to eating here again. The service was amazing as well, I loved everything.“
“Service was fast and polite. Owner was amenable to my request for a totally plain burger for my picky eater son. Offered suggestions on our (adult) sandwiches, all together a terrific and delicious experience!Kid-friendliness: Owner was amenable to my request for a totally plain burger for my picky eater son. “Great service from a friendly crew. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food. Menu is a bit weird but seems to be highly customiziable, probably a good place to order online so you can see all the options available. Not a ton of seating indoors (2 seats) but there's a few tables outside.“
“I usually don't eat this late, but I was starving and stumbled upon this place on Uber Eats. After Googling them, I decided to give them a try. The chop cheese sandwich was delicious. I'm excited to try another sandwich - it was fresh, and the bread was so tender. I must say, I'm impressed, especially after midnight.Gingercooksnyc ?“
“They run this ship tighter than the navy. I recommend ordering online and picking up — even with the swarm of Business Bros I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes, if at all. Every sandwich I’ve ever ordered has been great! Prices are standard for that of Dimes Square, maybe slightly lower. I salute the Toasties crew “
“I absolutely loved the Picnic Basket. I stumbled in here while visiting New York and I can't wait to visit again. I had a grilled Halloumi sandwich and the lentil soup they always have. The sandwich was fabulous but I could not stop talking about the soup! The staff was also very friendly and walked me through my order and recommended a special sauce I dipped my chips into. Love Picnic Basket!“
“Came with 2 friends.Sandwiches and fries are great!Staff service is amazing. Guy gave us sanitizing wipes and extra napkins when he saw that we ran out.How would i describe the food? The fries r like mcdonalds fries but crispier and seasoned well. The no fork sandwich is like a largeeee costco hotdog with a toasted, really soft and light bun. Bread isnt too filling; perfect for a light lunch. The meat/cheese interior was supreme though“
“Awesome deli with fantastic vegetarian/vegan options!I have tried the vegan Tex-Mex wrap, vegan Philly seitan, iKraveIt seitan and the simple vegan sandwich so far. All were delicious with my favorite being the Tex-Mex wrap. With a friendly staff, large portion sizes, and a few seats inside and a bench outside the deli, this place is amazing for cheap, delicious vegetarian/vegan sandwiches!“
“good location with ample parking space.inside was neat and clean; and the staff were pretty good during our visit.we has the usual philly steak and it was hot and fresh just the way we like it. Add some chips and wewere quite satisfied with such simple butdelicious meal.“
“It was such a refreshing change of pace to break away from the familiar chain restaurants that we can find anywhere and instead, experience what the locals do. Every morning, we made it a point to visit this charming spot for breakfast. The atmosphere was so cool and the food was simply delicious. And then, on our very last day of the trip, I was blown away by the amazing cheesesteak I had. Oh my God, it was incredible! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable dining experience. It's the perfect way to fully immerse yourself in the local culture and flavors.“
“A solid sandwich shop with friendly staff for reasonable price. We dine-in and got the Toasty Supreme, Sausage egg & cheese, and Bacon Supreme fries. There’s hot and cold beverage options such as iced coffee, smoothies - as well as bottled/can options like soda and tea. The food took a bit longer than expected though given how busy they are with take outs and dine-in order, it is understandable. Portion is adequate and there are counter seatings along perimeter of store.Call out is there is only 1 table available for seating so you have to bet on having that 1 table being available when you come in.“
“I've been coming here for many yrs, I'm a semi regular and it's always a pleasure coming in. From Felicia being amazing and always having a positive attitude to my service and food always being great, this is def the best Subway I've been to, especially after the renovations. The woman with the braided bun was the star of the show today for making an early release of the footlong sidekicks to me (thanks to management too) I got the churro and cookie one and it's so good, def recommend trying.“
“Food was a good size. It is 1$ more to swap to a wrap and 1$ for an extra egg but other wise great value. Place inside was nice to sit down at and staff was friendly. Will definitely be returning for breakfast again. Wanted to provide an updated menu for 2024 pricing. Enjoy !!!“
“Wow. Really pleased with this. Split a chicken parmigiana hero. Delicious. Absolutely must split with someone or be really hungry. Excellent quality chicken, great tasting sauce, and just the right amount of cheese. I wish the bread was a tad better (got whole wheat), but was definitely fresh - just didn’t live up to rest of sandwich. Will try the other bread the next time. Go hungry and enjoy. Note that there is NO seating inside or out.“
“This location has limited seating but is clearly a crowd favorite. I stopped by because I love pastrami and the reviews said so did Anthony Bordain. The pastrami sandwiches are approx. $24 but to be fair they are massive. I went for the half sandwich and half matze ball soup, which I poured into a bowl since I ordered takeout. Excellent soup, came with one large matzo ball. I particularly enjoyed the half loaf of rye bread which I proceeded to dip in the soup and the mustard packets. Not a fan of pickles but the lady in front of me ordered 6 extra ones so I am sure they're excellent. Overall, the sandwich was tasty and the meat was plentiful. It only took a few minutes waiting. I don't know that I would order their knishes or some of their other items not because they don't look good but because they pricey even for the neighborhood! $9 for a knish is outrageous. But if you're looking for a real NYC experience it's worth the wait for a table.“
“Honestly some of the best sandwich food out there. The Hal is my personal favorite - they put this garlicky mayo sauce (I guess aioli? Lol) that's to die for, then the texture from the salt and vinegar chips? Chef kiss* perfection! I look forward to exploring more of their menu!“
“I have been visiting Did Amigos for over 20 years. Highly recommend the flavors in this steak sandwich. Make sure you get cheese and onions. Batido de trigo is also delishious. Cash only local spot.Parking: You can park in the lot above the restaurant for 1 hour , just make sure they stamp your card.“
“I went here with a couple of friends, and was treated to a fairly decent meal. We came across this place quite by chance. While walking in Manhattan, we were looking for a place to eat that had a seat for each of us free.We spied Delmonico from across the street, and despite construction in the area, we made our way in. There were a couple of food stations and walls limited with drinks. There were plenty of side snacks scattered throughout. Our meals were very pleasant (we each had a sandwich). The prices were not absurd in so far as city pricing goes, and the selection was borderline overwhelming. I'll deffinatly go back here next time I'm in town.Parking: Located in midtown Manhattan, you can forget about parking.Kid-friendliness: Nothing about this place was especially kid friendly, but, there was enough food to satisfy all but the ficklest of tastes.Wheelchair accessibility: You can get in with no problems, but the aisles are narrow. They may offer help if asked, but I have no direct knowledge on the matter. The seating area in the back was floor level, but the tables were a bit close together. The bathroom was not accessible.“
“I don't remember the person's name but he was Asian and was really good. He messed the order but it was really nice to go change it. Even the other lady who was taking the order was also really good and recognized the order being wrong. Great customer service.I am sorry I am bad with remembering name.“
“Me and my boyfriend order from here all the time, food is always great but we absolutely adore the lady who always takes our order when we call she’s absolutely amazing, she’s always super friendly and so efficient. She genuinely makes ordering on the phone super smooth.“
“Lovely clean corner deli. Good for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Plenty of snacks, drinks and whatnot to choose from. Prices are reasonable considering it's location in Hell's Kitchen, ~$7 for a sandwich with chips and pickle, ~$2 for a drink or snack. The staff are friendly and the store itself is clean. They recently rebuilt the front entrance and it looks sharp! They have 3 tables with some chairs, but it's more of a carry-out focused place. Compared to Skyline this place is gold: cheaper and way better customer service. Great for a quick bite and fast becoming one of my favorites for lunch when I'm working in the area“
“Love this place! Talk about comfort food. Their deli subs and chicken parm is off the hook. Makes you want to try the other sammies but aside from great tasting fresh food you're going to get that 1 on 1 small family experience who take absolute pride in what they do. Support your local small businesses! Almost forgot, best chilli in northeast NJ, mind blowing.“
“They are just an overall great deli. Sandwiches are filling, good selection of snacks etc. They are also very polite, which makes it nice. when they let you in, even after they mopped up to close the store, oh and the dogs too... You take a liking to the deli.“
“This place is amazing! We just opened an amazing animal hospital called URvet Care on 30-80 Steinway, which happens to be right around the block from this amazing place! Their "Krave It Bomber" is amazing!!! Me and my staff will be frequent customers!“
“This location has friendly, engaged, and quick working staff. They were upfront on how busy it was so we knew exactly what time the food was going to be ready at. Great location, efficient production time, and food came out great, classic Mike style. Jersey Mike's never disappoints and this location is no exception.“
“Never disappoints. I get the club with turkey and pepperoni. The pepper relish is awesome. I really like their cheesesteaks it's pretty good probably one of the best cheesesteaks around. if you know of a better cheese steak around please comment back on this post, i love cheese steak. The stubborn brand cream soda is some of the best cream soda I've ever had. The kids in there are pretty friendly. All in all they make a good sandwich their meat is good quality not cheap stuff.“
“I disagree with all the bad reviews there are no cockroaches crawling in the walls ? in my opinion this is better than subway, good customer service I’ve gone like 7 times already and I’ve never had a complaint. I recommend it very much.“
“I know it’s a sandwich place but I ordered one of the salads.I thought it was a good portion for a fair price. All of the ingredients seemed fresh and filling. Would go back and try other foods here.Staff was pleasant but nothing extraordinary or memorable.“
“We came from Brazil and this place was amazing! Amazing service , food , atmosphere etc. A very nice cook and hostess she was very helpful and patient! Helped with concerns and questions. Very much recommend this place if ur visiting nyc or even live here.“
“Excellent salad bar and cold food section. Vast selection of beverages, chips and snacks. Hot and cold roll or hero sandwiches made to order, as well as hot food dishes. Staff isn't very friendly, but they are efficient. The deli is next to a medical office building, so parking is tough.Vegetarian options: Excellent salad bar options.“
“I lived here for a year and a half and found out about rams deil and pizza and for my first time it really is true what people said it's the freaking best by far I just ordered from this store within the last hour and food was done fast and cooked so DAMN amazing that I would recommend this place and eat here more often love this place hey rams you will be seeing me again for that amazing food my name Albert thank u for that amazing food“
“For one, this is a great sandwich place. It is usually crowded. When there is construction around here, all the construction workers come. I have just found the Jibarito sandwich on their menu and Oh My Goodness, it is friggin delicious! You can have steak, chicken, fish, and eggplant. I live for the steak sandwich. You have the option of having it on a hero roll or fried plantain. Fried plantain every day all day! It comes with stuff so you can have it made to order foe extra or to take away. It's not quick it takes about 20 min to prepare, but when it is done, you get to delve into the tastiest sandwich ever! Omg the Latin flavors! You have to try it! I have been having it delivered. But, I just came from the nail salon down the block Satchi Nail Salon and decided to stop in. I am waiting for it now. Can't wait to get home to eat it!!!!!!!! You must give it a try! The pic doesn't do it justice.“
“I wanted a quick bite so stopped in. I walked in and there was a small line. When I got to the front the nice lady took my order. I got the veggie patty on whole wheat bread. They made it just like I liked. I had a coupon and it was about $3.50. When I got to the car I ate and it was good. All in all I had a good experience.“
“What's not to love about Denaro's? Consistency is key here. Aside from their low prices, the bread hasn't change and nor has the friendly service. Sandwiches are made with a generous amount of freshly sliced cold cuts and they have just the right selection of toppings. Simplicity and quality are key here. A Denaro's sandwich never disappoints. Cash only!“
“Really good sandwich from a food truck. Have tried quiet a few on the menu and haven't found one I didn't like. I usually get the Sonny Red or Lefty Louie. Coworkers have gotten the chicken sandwiches before and said it was good. I prefer the Focaccia or the French baguette personally.“
“This place is an institution. If you’re in Astoria there is no better spot for an Italian sandwich. But the pro move is a Bacon Egg and cheese on a roll. They make it perfectly. Great staff, the owner is always there and is really fun to talk to. This place is the best.“
“Going to a Subway in the Bronx… you never know what kinda experience you’re going to receive… but this Subway is top notch, the staff there are always very friendly, I go there almost everyday and pick up lunch and they always know my order.. they always take great care preparing my sandwiches.. it’s always clean, food is always fresh. As long as I am still in the Bronx, they’ll have a forever customer in me.“
“Excellent sandwich, very courteous and knowledgeable staff. I was there to get a sandwich but I also picked up nice reasonably priced greeting cards and balloons too for my nephew. The place is bright and clean. This will be my go to stop when I am in the area making deliveries. Huge parking lot to park my truck, easy in and out. Also I saw they had a sign that say Buy 2 get 1 Free pizza. Next time I should try the Subway pizza too.“
“I used to always get Subway from teaneck until this place opened so I could get a large sandwich for me to eat for breakfast and lunch. Never really gave Jersey Mike's a second thought since I was satisfied with Subway sandwiches. On a one-off whim, I decided to grab something from Jersey Mike's. The #56 Big Kahuna, giant. Absolutely legendary. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I was expecting a 12" sub like I'm used to at Subway. This absolute monster got delivered to me over UberEats and the moment it hit my outstretched hands, I was surprised by the weight of it. I opened the bag expecting a 12 inch sub but this completely dashed every expectation I had. This long, girthy boy emerged from its wrapper piping hot. A light profanity left my mouth in awe. Heart beating, I took a bite. Juicy, flavorful, excellent texture, mwah chef's kiss. My mind raced. Sorry subway but you will not be missed.“
