“I went to a this deli on my bday trip, and I’m not exaggerating when I say it completely ruined every other deli sandwich for me.

Small place but seriously mighty. No fluff, no gimmicks, just unreal, farm-to-table food done right.

The meatball sandwich? I think about it daily. Perfectly seasoned, rich, and messy in the best way. The kind of sandwich you don’t forget. And the Burrata sandwich was just as incredible, packed with flavor and made with so much care you can taste it in every bite.

You can tell the ingredients are fresh and thoughtfully sourced. It makes a difference.

This place puts every other deli shop to shame. If you know, you know.

The team went above and beyond, very communicative, thoughtfully asked how and what guests enjoy, worked with us to craft the perfect set of sandwiches… then came the actual day. They put together a very easy to transport box setup. I was just as enamored with that as I was with the food itself. Nothing shifted, spilled and arrived exactly as was packed.

We tried the BEC (bacon, egg and cheese) on Croissant and it was delicious! The croissant was hot and fluffy. The bacon was crisp and the cheese was warm and melty. We all split one and had to go back for another. I also tried the black drip coffee — it’s standard but has a good dark roast flavor. I drink americanos usually, so this was a bit dark for me but personally it’s way better than a black coffee at Starbucks.“

“Honestly, this place is so slept on... Krave It has the best pizza in Bayside— by a LANDSLIDE. I love that they use unbromated flour and I appreciate that every piece (even the specialty slices with many heavy toppings) has great structure, no flop. Thin & crispy crust, great ratio of sauce and cheese. I also love how clean the restaurant is. They have some incredible specialty slices that I never knew I needed in my life until I tried them! Especially the “Desi Boy” slice and the “white truffle chicken cutlet” slice. I also have to mention their vodka slice with sesame crust 🤤 Everything in this place is high quality, even their regular slices. Their sandwiches are pretty incredible too, and you can tell that the bread is fresh made in house— you don’t feel bloated or overly stuffed after eating them! The owner is super friendly and even gave us a couple extra slices to try to complete our “pie” when we had already ordered a small variety of slices. The staff are all very friendly and it feels very comfortable and less stuffy than some of the other pizzerias in the area. Happy to give this place my business. They only have one small table to sit at, so you shouldn't plan on eating there. There's a big menu and the coffee is always fresh. I wouldn't say it located in the worst area but it's defiantly not a nice area, anyways on to the food. the restraint itself looks very old and beat up but who cares menu has 1 sandwich on it and it's cash only. Id recommend any foodie to come try this place at least once because its a food journey but the traffic and parking and cash only are enough of a hassle to keep me away unless I'm directly in the neighborhood, also try to eat it there because the trip home will take too long.“

“Who normalized charging $20 for an Italian sub? It just feels un-American. Thankfully D&F in Astoria is more patriotic than that and their Italian combo hero is a very reasonable $10.50. It comes with all the classic meats, provolone, and oil & vinegar. My personal opinion is that an Italian sandwich is better after a few hours in the fridge so plan accordingly.“
