About TAP Brazilian Café – 100% Gluten-Free | Tapioca Sandwiches & Açaí | Midtown East – NYC

Based on customer reviews, TAP Brazilian Café is a tiny little spot with HUGE flavor. It is a 100% gluten-free spot in Midtown East, NYC, offering tapioca sandwiches, açaí, and other Brazilian treats. The food tastes very clean and the prices are quite reasonable. Customers recommend the pesto PAO DE QUEIJO, calling it a MUST TRY. The pão de queijo is warm, cheesy, and perfectly baked, with a great texture. The açaí is a must try; the Açaí Monster Bowl is a perfect amount to split amongst 2 people, with a perfectly sweet base, fresh fruit, granola, cacao nibs, and coconut. The egg wrap is especially delicious, and the Brazilian cacao fuel protein smoothie is delicious with great aftertaste. Service is fast and friendly. The interior design creates a cozy and vibrant atmosphere that feels authentically Brazilian. However, there is very little seating, with just 3 tables inside. Overall, this place is a nice refreshing find and a warm and inviting place to enjoy delicious Brazilian treats.

I taked to there "my kids" (im a babysitter) to have a açai bowl with a lot of tops. they loved so much and they tried the pao de queijo too, The Best.

My two nieces and I popped in this morning on our way to the Natural History Museum. I’ll admit I was hesitant but thankfully I listened to my nieces! I had the avocado and eggs in a crepe, which was the best gluten-free sandwich I have ever had. Did not miss the bread at all. My 14 year old chose the Nutella crepe with banana and the 9 ounce Açaí bowl. Oldest selected one of the big bowls … it was a work of art. Highly recommend and we will be back on our next trip.
