“I was so excited to spend my birthday at Leticia's. The food and service were fine, and the atmosphere seemed lively enough, but the night ended in total heartbreak. My husband had specifically arranged for a sweet birthday surprise—a simple dessert and a song—and the hostess completely forgot. Watching the night end in absolute silence without even a mention of my birthday was devastating. It completely ruined what should have been a special moment. Remind the hostess or server several times about anything special you want yo do.“

Delicious tapas included Albondigas, Camarones en Salsa De Mango, and Tortilla Española (that potato/cheese/onion treat ) Oh - and the ginormous Land and Sea Paella was superb. Add a coupla glasses of their Lovely Logos Cab, and — just WOW!“

“We hosted our company dinner party here with some clients from Spain, and they absolutely loved the place. The food was fabulous, and the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. “What a fun time in Hell’s Kitchen. Basque cuisine and gin based drinks are the bomb! Cay and Lupe gave the best service, making recommendations and guiding us through the menu. Cat introduced me to some unique beverage treats that I wouldn’t otherwise have chosen. The food is amazing, the oxtails are delicious and the Rosebuds go down easy. You may palm on an hour or so but plan to sty eat and drink yourself silly. They have got it going on here for a great time.“

“We have been going to El Cid for over 30 years and went back for the first time since they reopened. I’m happy to say that it was as great as it was in the past. The Prime Rib, sirloin and sangria were delicious and we can’t wait to go back!“

“A fantastic restaurant! I've visited many times and tried a large portion of the menu. Every single dish has been a hit with both me and my friends. The food quality is excellent, the presentation is beautiful, and the casual atmosphere is highly enjoyable and I think they are priced reasonably.
To top it off, the service is always great!“

“I called this morning at 6am to inquire how long it would take them to make 3 dozen empanadas, for a work event, they said ten mi utes! They saved my day. The empanadas were a hit at work! They were delicious! I bought chicken, beef and cheese! They’re affordable too! Gracias! 🙏🏽 I’ll be buying from here again.“

“We recently held a family reunion at El Mesón Español, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, taking the time to explain the menu and answer all of our questions. The food was outstanding—every dish was cooked to perfection. We especially enjoyed the paella, oxtail, veal, and ribs—each one full of rich, authentic. Highly recommended!“

“First rate service! Very nice wine selection! The food...! I ordered the filet mignon and I could cut it with the wrong side of the knife! Cooked to perfection! Creme Brulee was very good! The atmosphere was cozy! Five out of Five!!“
