“A wonderful, authentic, family-owned Peruvia restaurant! Their lomo saltado is very tasty (as are their other dishes) and their desserts (like the masamorra combination made of purple corn with subtly sweet rice worthy of being served to royalty) are very tasty but not overly sweet. The beautiful waitresses are very professional, yet humorous and friendly!“

“Carlos the waiter was cordial and very welcoming. Food was like Mom’s home cooking in Puerto Rico. David the owner has created a very welcoming environment that gives a feeling of being back in the island of Puerto RIco right here in Yonkers, NY. If you are looking for a good Puerto Rician dish then this is the place to go. Excellent.“

“I like how it's a diner with counter and booths, the food is good, prices reasonable, always clean. I did take off a star because their personalities could be friendlier, no one says good morning or afternoon, hardly ANYONE smiles, there's no greeting you which would be nice to be acknowledged when you are there.“

“Fresh food, great prices, big portions.Empanadas anywhere in the BX are $2-$2.50. here they are $1. Everything here was priced more affordably compared to any of the other Dominican spots on 138th street and in the neighborhood. Big plates. Also, they cater to the blue collar crowd. Lunch food is ready by 9:30AM. Perfect lunch spot if you're a city worker, construction, etc.“

“I don’t have enough words to express how amazing the staff is and how excellent the food is. The attentiveness is marvelous. After coming from a bad experience elsewhere, this restaurant and their staff never fail. I’ve been here many times and haven’t had a single bad experience.
The only reason for a 4-star atmosphere rating is that the takeout area is combined with the main seating area, which takes away slightly from the elevated experience they are trying to create. Otherwise, flawless!“

“Absolutely fantastic. We’re from Spain. The food is authentic and delicious. The best tortilla de patata and gambas al ajillo❣️ Tortilla de patata is better than Casa Dani in Madrid. It’s high quality comfort food with a touch of finesse and expertise. We found our home away from home. 🏠 Thank you Carlos.“
“Dominican breakfast is good, this is the first place I had ice coffee with cinnamon! Haven’t had ice coffee with out it since, the steak sandwich is good also
(If you left a low rating your a weirdo, this is a neighborhood store that sells Dominican food, it’s not a 5 star restaurant) I always come when I’m in the area and I’m black not Dominican but still enjoy the food“

“Always enjoy the food. For this, I used to travel to the heights. Because of the location, I had doubts about the meal. I went there after giving it a try one day when I was feeling lethargic due to traffic. There is always a lot of cheese in palitos de queso. The cachapa and patacon are also excellent.“
“The mangu is so delicious!! And everytime I or my husband call the lady is so nice on the phone !! And their coffee is so strong they brew it fresh per order of cup size just the way i love it !! Oh and in case someone is confused the meal is called tres golpes y los huevos como mediano con cebollas tambien. Yummmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!“

“The food is average, the cashiers are nasty and unprofessional, and prices are clearly changed (sometimes double) based on who is ordering, with foreigners coming from the airport being taken advantage of. Was told to go in with a Spanish speaker to not get taken advantage of.... can you imagine?!?!“

“Good option when youre looking for a home cooked meal without actually cooking it yourself. My go to is the pollo guisado with a side of rice and beans and maduros. This location is always speedy and you can usually find parking nearby if its not during rush hour. Staff is always kind.“

“I felt very welcomed & at home here. The food is fresh and reminds me of a home cooked meal which touches my soul. I got the mini bandeja and the portion size for it’s good amount of food was worth maybe about 20-$24 while the actual price was $15. I find that to be a great deal. They have many decorations that display a very detailed and warm Columbian vibe & representation of the culture. The staff were very hospitable and helpful. I have 0 complaints and would definitely like actually, return back to this lovely restaurant!“

“The prices are great, the staff is really friendly. The food is amazing! And I don't eat just any Caribbean food. You'll love this place!“
“I’ve been visiting this restaurant since I moved to the area, and I truly have nothing but great things to say. I’ve come during different shifts, and the staff has always been kind and helpful. I usually visit at night, and Wendy is typically my server — she’s always attentive, friendly, and makes sure everything is perfect.
The food is amazing, and if any mistakes are made, they’re always willing to fix them quickly to make sure you’re completely satisfied. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or stopping by for lunch during the less busy hours :)“
“Had the Mangu (3 golpes) and chinola juice. It was good not great considering the $17 amount. The portion was on the medium to large size considering it’s a Latin restaurant and they usually serve way more than enough for 1 person. The service was good, friendly staff with a smile.“

“So come here for the first time is strictly amazing. I wanted to make sure that everyone knows this. I always pass this location when I come out of work, but I wanted to check it out to see what they have at some of the photos here that you guys can see and the person register is simply amazing. Great service and highly recommend !!!!“

“Yesterday I placed an order for white rice, beans and baked chicken ❤️❤️it was not good it was great❤️❤️❤️I highly recommend it. Today I ordered the Mangu, salami and fried cheese. It is called the Spanish breakfast!! Can't wait to try it. The bad thing is that they have soooo many different gummies to eat that it is hard to choose lmao.“

“The food here is off the hook.oh man the best food ever. but the girls here have bad attitudes and out server was looking like she was angry. plus we asked her to lower down the AC. they caught a fit at us. Food came out cold but thats not the problem here. its the girls. being attentive to customers counts at any place of business. we froze eating here.“

“Hello, I’ve been coming to your restaurant for over a year and I truly enjoy the food, which is why I wanted to share this feedback respectfully.
Recently, I had an uncomfortable experience with customer service while placing my order. I requested a small change to my plate and made it clear that I did not mind paying any extra charge if needed. However, instead of explaining the policy in a welcoming way, I was told repeatedly that it had to be done “their way,” with no flexibility or effort to accommodate the request.
I completely understand restaurants having rules or serving procedures, but the interaction felt very dismissive and made me feel more like a problem than a paying customer. What disappointed me most was not the policy itself, but the attitude and lack of customer care during the interaction.
I’m reaching out because I genuinely like your restaurant and would hate to see the customer experience decline. I just wanted to ask if this is the standard policy of the restaurant or perhaps an issue of communication and training with newer staff members.
Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback.“
