“I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. I would like to make reservations and splurge on a dinner on my own, I have a feeling I would LOVE the experience! Btw, another plus was the parking!”

“Went with a couple of my boys to celebrate one of their birthdays and the experience was phenomenal. Food was great, environment was awesome and specially the guy Alejandro. Dude was always checking on us and making sure we was having a great experience. He gave us the correct orders and picked up our plates. Great service and for sure i'll be returning.”

“We arrived before 12:30 on a Saturday and was lucky to get a parking spot. But surprisingly after we parked more spots opened up. We ordered a papaya salad, beef noodle soup, duck noodle soup and chicken curry. The papaya salad was quite spicy.”

“The owner of this restaurant, Victor, is the main star here. I have never met a restaurant owner that has shown such incredible hospitality like Victor has. He is incredible and the main reason we will always come back. The food is outstanding as well. The shrimp enchiladas are my go to every time. The shrimp is always cooked perfectly and cut into small pieces which I love. The sauce on the enchiladas is so flavorful and delicious that I dip my chips in it as well. My boyfriend loves the burrito! He gets it every time as well. The restaurant is cozy and has a rei Mexican authentic feel to it. We're so grateful to have Victor and his amazing restaurant so close to us!”

“Our group of six visited Posto 22 on St. Patrick's night. It had been awhile since we had been to New Rochelle for dining and parking can be a bit challenging. After finding a spot on Main street (only $1 per hour) we discovered that Posto 22 had valet parking available. Our party was sat on time and the service was friendly, quick and efficient. The design of the rectangular restaurant space is a bit odd as the thin bar is in front as soon as you walk in. There was a private party in their secondary large room and there is additional space in the rear of the restaurant. There was a wide selection of menu items and specials to choose from and the group started with friend zucchini and artichokes which were very good. Each couple split a salad (tricolore for me & Mrs.) and they were large and flavorful- really excellent. Bread was provided and the cocktails were well presented. Entrees ranged from Ok to very good with some dishes (A pasta special) a bit too flavorful but the portion sizes were very good. Prices overall were fair for these days $146 per couple all in. Our lone dessert, the apple cobbler, was a disappointment- devoid of flavor. There is a spirited mixed crowd befitting the diverse New Rochelle area so you may have to use your outdoor voice to be heard or it might have been the revelry of the St. Patrick's holiday? Table spacing is generous. Overall we enjoyed our foray to New Ro as a good change of pace. I could recommend this restaurant because if you know how to navigate the menu I believe you can have a very good meal.”

“Fast Service and seating even when the parking lot is full..(the sit and wait method will grab you a space fastest) the staff is always friendly. The Crab Cake Benedict is one of the best we've ever had and it's a hard dish to get right to the point it's the only place we have it now...the Crab is real Crab and a plentiful portion, the Apple French Toast is another favorite. We've eaten here many times and was always pleased with the portions and quality..They have good deserts too and also serve liquor (drinks). The Restaurant is Newer / Modern and the bathrooms are always clean. Definitely a place you'd enjoy eating at!”

Good quality chicken is always top priority as you never want a chewy piece. A colleague of mine got the chicken and broccoli and said it was a bit bland but otherwise standard. Most modern locations of McDonald's do have a PlayPlace. Most McDonald's buildings without a PlayPlace are getting an indoor PlayPlace added. Indoor McDonald's PlayPlaces are more cleaner, safe, and modern than the outdoor ones. Indoor McDonald's PlayPlaces have more cool stuff like basketball, video games and air hockey while the outdoor ones only have the play equipment. All McDonald's buildings with an indoor PlayPlace are the best McDonald's buildings in the world so there for I think all McDonald's buildings should have an indoor PlayPlace so kids can play at McDonald's during severe wheather, and hot wheather indoor safe and sound. Indoor PlayPlaces are my most favorite part of McDonald's buildings. Most people and I love indoor McDonald's PlayPlaces because indoor McDonald's PlayPlaces are more clean, safe, and modern than the outdoor ones. The indoor McDonald's PlayPlaces are very popular, common, cool, and modern.”

“I love this place. They have won awards for their avocado toast and when you try it you’ll see why. Everything tastes homemade and made with love. I love their espresso too. 3 stars for service because I had an incident where I was given non gluten free bread once and also cheese when I asked for none as I have both food intolerances which cause massive widespread inflammation for me that can last weeks into months. The person I spoke dealt with did not apologize/seemed annnoyed and it happened both times with her. However, it’s such a rare find to find a place with such good food and GF options for me (coming from the BX) that I wound up going back and it hasn’t happened since. Everyone there knows me now and automatically knows what I order but I just think people need to take food allergies and concerns much more seriously than they do. “While searching for something different for dinner, came across D'Bay and realized that Jerk Chicken would really hit the spot. The reviews were good but had some questions about sides etc so I called the restaurant. The gentleman who picked up answered my questions and I really enjoyed talking with him. He told me what he had available (plenty of Jerk Chicken and Jerk Pork, almost out of curry goat, enough for a small serving) and I placed my order with him. I drove over with my daughter, found there were two municipal lots on either end of the block he was on, so parking was easy. Ended up getting a large Jerk Chicken and a large Jerk Pork, both with rice n peas and mixed veg/cabbage and a small curry goat, with rice n peas and mix veg/cabbage. All the dishes also came with plantain. We also got a homemade sorrel juice, a homemade peach mango juice and two muffins (banana and carrot). The food was waiting there for us and the owner (the guy I spoke to on the phone) provided great customer service with a smile. I paid with cash ($58 for everything) and told him we would see him soon. The food was really tasty, with the large orders having enough for two meals. The banana muffin was good but the carrot muffin was really amazing. Overall a very good experience and we will definitely be back there again for more very tasty food.The two pics are Jerk Chicken and Jerk Pork. We started eating before I could remember to take pics, so note that the dishes do come with more food in them. Sorry I could not post the curry goat but my daughter finished it off before I could get a picture.”

“10 STARS!! ********** We met Abe and Shirley at their first restaurant in Brooklyn when we first got married 35 years ago!! Abe and Shirley are the best!!! Our families became friends and we were honored to be at their wedding! The cooking was just amazingly delicious!! For years we were trying to find the new place they opened up and I just got lucky and found it 35 years later!! We will definitely be in as soon as you open with Mike and Robin!! Can’t wait to see you guys!!”

“I love this place. They have won awards for their avocado toast and when you try it you’ll see why. Everything tastes homemade and made with love. I love their espresso too. 3 stars for service because I had an incident where I was given non gluten free bread once and also cheese when I asked for none as I have both food intolerances which cause massive widespread inflammation for me that can last weeks into months. The person I spoke dealt with did not apologize/seemed annnoyed and it happened both times with her. However, it’s such a rare find to find a place with such good food and GF options for me (coming from the BX) that I wound up going back and it hasn’t happened since. Everyone there knows me now and automatically knows what I order but I just think people need to take food allergies and concerns much more seriously than they do. The atmosphere is cute and it’s a nice place to read a book or work on your laptop.Dietary restrictions: If you have food allergies, mention it 3 times. Triple confirm they understand.”
