“I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. I would like to make reservations and splurge on a dinner on my own, I have a feeling I would LOVE the experience! Btw, another plus was the parking!”

The only annoying part, and not worth deducting even 1/4 of a star, is the pushy “ we need your entire order right away because everything is made to order” jargon. They do it to speed you along as you can’t get your apps until you order your main meal. But even with that and not having a reserved table ready on time - this place is 100% worthy of ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!”

The cocktail menu was great and the drinks I actually got were divine but the wait for them and the mood of the server was less then desirable especially for a birthday party, she treated us as if we were a hindrance and we were bothering her by asking her for drinks. Usually, when booking a private party, you get the best of the best as your server if this was their best, it definitely was not good enough.”

“Fast Service and seating even when the parking lot is full..(the sit and wait method will grab you a space fastest) the staff is always friendly. The Crab Cake Benedict is one of the best we've ever had and it's a hard dish to get right to the point it's the only place we have it now...the Crab is real Crab and a plentiful portion, the Apple French Toast is another favorite. We've eaten here many times and was always pleased with the portions and quality..They have good deserts too and also serve liquor (drinks). The Restaurant is Newer / Modern and the bathrooms are always clean. Definitely a place you'd enjoy eating at!”

“I don’t know about the rest of you all, but this is by far, the best Japanese Cuisine place in the Area. Some of the best items from their menu The Angry Dragon Sushi, The Shrimp tempura, and the Spicy Salmon rolls.

Also try the gyoza and the amazing Kani salad (regular or spicy)

Also the presentation is outstanding, and don’t forget to try their amazing Thai ice Tea which is homemade. 100% recommended. 🫶🏻

Vegetarian options: My daughter had the veggie burrito. She is a picky eater but she loved it.

Parking: Found a couple of empty spots on the street. It was around 5 pm during the week.”

Only thing I want to me tion is we recently went here and as nice as our waiter was, I felt as though he's costing TR money because he brought us Soooo many rolls. We counted maybe 20 rolls in total because he gave us a bag of 8 or so when we were leaving which we didn't ask for. The kids kept eating them and he kept bringing them.

On top of it, he brought us 2 extra milks for the kids out of kindness. Additionally, my husband was only halfway through his soda, and he brought him another one and took the other half away.

He was nice and very attentive, but maybe just giving away way too many extras that just eats into the revenues I'm sure. Overall, still a great spot.”

She made sure our drinks were always full, checked on us at the perfect times, and gave great menu recommendations.

What really stood out was her positive attitude and genuine care for the customers. Even though the restaurant was busy, she handled everything smoothly and made us feel like a priority. Service like this truly makes the whole dining experience better.

I went with the Venezuelan Breakfast, and wow, it was incredible. The shredded beef was perfectly seasoned, the caraotas (black beans) were flavorful, and the arepa was easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The scrambled eggs and sweet maduros rounded everything out and made the meal so satisfying. Now I can’t wait to explore more of their menu. Highly recommend!”

“from minute we arrived the hostess was very rude and unaccommodating (we made a reservation days in advance) put 5 people at a table for 2 our server could not speak English and constantly kept disappearing for exorbitant length of time took us hours to get a drink.... Midway through our meal they made us switch tables literally while we were eating to accommodate another party ...that being said however the food was delicious and the DJ was great but the service was horrible automatically added a $50 gratuity which totally did not deserve and overcharged us for alcohol and dessert”

“I LOVE this addition to New Rochelle Train station. I come here weekly and get a Matcha before I head on the Amtrack. While ALL the staff is nice and helpful I absolutely adore Lemuel who knows my usual order by heart and as soon as I walk it he starts preparing it. He is kind and helpful and i love that we can chat a bit each week it . This kind service is so key and rare these days so its nice when you are greatly so kindly and someone remembers you and your order. Its the “community vibe” that is often missing in food service. I also LOVE the portobello empanadas . I don't eat meat so this is my go to choice. I also like that they sell Celius here because i usually grab one for my train ride. I find stocking up on food/snacks here before getting on the train is more affordable than Amtrack prices and definitely a better quality.”
