“The food was delicious but on a weeknight it is primarily take out. We were the only people at a table. The one waitress was lovely but busy running back and forth from the kitchen to take out customers and answering the phone and computer.“
“My cousin took me here for my birthday dinner, and I'm glad he did. I like my dish, and was happy with the portions. I'm glad he found this and he loved his PadThai . I tried the papaya salad because it's usually good...this was tasty but if I was to suggest one thing to the businesses it would be that it needed to be a little spicier.“
“The environment of this restaurant is very good. The food is not only beautiful in appearance, but more importantly, the taste is very good, the color is good, fresh and refreshing, and the price is not high. It is suitable for taking the family together.“
“We have had dinner at this restaurant several times. The environment is very tasteful, the service is very good, and the various dishes are very exquisite in workmanship. We highly recommend this place and will stay here again if we come back to New York.“
“The food here is out of this world. Everything is so fresh, tasty, colorful, and delicious. The two sisters who run the place are very kind and again, love the food. Outside of Thailand, this is the best Thai food I've ever had in NYC!“
“The Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Tom Yum soup are the real thing. If you are looking for authentic, "mom's kitchen" Thai food like that secret place you used to regular in NYC, this is the place for you. The ingredients are fresh and dishes arrive piping hot (and the aforementioned plenty spicy!) from the kitchen. The service is friendly, ever present, and -- unlike that NYC place of yours -- you won't be pushed out the door. The atmosphere is basic which is the way we like it: they put the money into the food, not the décor. Unlike other Thai places, plenty of vegan options with the vegetable broths for the soups and non of the sauces are made with fish powder. My only feedback is that I wish there were just a bit more vegetables in the vegetable drunken noodles but they made up for that by putting plenty in the Tom Yum soup.Vegetarian options: Vegetable Drunken Noodles and Tom Yum soup were made vegetable broth based and were made without fish powder. Double check with your server. There were also plenty of vegan curries and noodle soups. Be sure to ask that your dish is not made with egg noodles.“
“I've gotten food from here four or five times (mostly ordered out but dined in once) and have loved it every time! Really flavorful meals, generous portions, and friendly staff. They're really efficient with preparation time. Cute interior and a welcoming vibe. One of my new restaurant recommendations!“
“The Pho here is really amazing. Vermicelli bowls are also very good. They have a variety of proteins to choose from (beef and chicken are my favorites). We’ve had take-out and dine-in, both were great. I just hope they never change the recipe for their soup!“
“Great Neck can be a pretty barren place when it comes to food. This is one of the few restaurants we love and frequently get food to go. The staff are so kind and accommodating! They have the best customer service. When I went there to place an order they gave me a glass of water while I was waiting. We usually order curry puffs, beef or roasted duck pad see ew and chicken massaman curry … all are delicious. I’ve gotten the rib appetizer which are so tender they fall off the bone. Some things I ordered were spicy but they cooked it to my preference, which is pretty mild. I love them and was so glad they reopened from the old Krung Tepp, which we also enjoyed. It’s a pleasure coming here.“
“Got there an hour exactly before they closed and they were super welcoming, to start for cocktails we ordered the lychee cosmo and their strawberry coconut mojito, both delicious (we ended up ordering 2 more rounds). For appetizers everything was a hit chive dumpling, moo ping, Tom kha chicken soup and the spicy papaya salad! Everything was cleaned off the plates. And for mains we opted for the thai spicy basil with chicken and pad see ew with tofu. I can’t begin to explain how flavorful and authentic everything was. We had to order dessert even though we were all pretty full, we got the mango sticky rice and Creme brûlée, wonderfully decadent and yummy. The owner was sweet enough to get our desserts on the house. Definitely coming back.“
“Came here tonight with friends and brought my 2.5 year old son along. This place was perfect. I love the decorations, the music, the balcony lights with the river view. We sat by the window and enjoyed our meal as the sun was setting. It was beautiful. Everything we ordered came out delicious! We ordered house fried rice, drunken noodles, Singapore noodles, pad Thai, spring rolls, cauliflower (highly recommend), Thai chicken wings, lettuce wrap. The drinks were really good too, several of us got seconds. Even my picky 2.5 year old loved the fried rice. The service was excellent. They were so understanding and so lovely with my son. I appreciate this restaurant and will definitely come back again.“
“It has been one of the best experiences I have ever had, for me one of the best restaurants in terms of food and extraordinary customer service, I recommend the ? super cheap food and incredible happy hour, the staff for me one of the best in Attention, we feel like Hollywood actors, thank you for everything ❤️ ♥️ ?“
“I ordered takeout and I love how authentic and fresh it is! I ordered the larb chicken salad which was exactly what I was expecting. I also got the drunken noodles which were also very very good. I love how you can select your spice level for each dish. I picked hot and it’s actually hot! I love that. Will try dining in next time maybe!“
“This place has become my go to when I buy lunch at work. I've had a few dishes so far and they are really good, pricing is fair and they are very fast. The people working are always very nice and polite.Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie dishes and seems like they are willing to work around certain changes you might want to make“
“Mr. Chan’s is my favorite in the area. Perfect for lunch. I worked in the area and this was my go to spot. Lunch specials around 10 bucks. They are very fast and the food is always tasty. They do delivery as well. Their pork fried rice with chicken wings is my favorite.“
“Delicious food including fried rice, pad Thai, veggies dishes. We were really satisfied with everything which was so tasty. Will definitely be back. Was way better then most of the Thai restaurants we have been to in NYC. Service was friendly and fast.“
“San Aroy is my go-to for Thai in the Ditmars area. Everything I've had is great from there, but my standards are the pad thai and peanut curry, and gotta get some curry puffs on the side and Thai iced tea of course! So glad to have them close by for all my Thai cravings.“
“Good takeout for standard Thai food. I wouldn't say it's out of this world or anything super special, but they do a really good fried whole snapper, it comes very crispy even when delivered. And their moon Thai fried rice is tasty too. It's a regular spot on my go-to take out list.“
“Happened to be in the area and decided to stop here with my family. It's a small restaurant inside but the decor was cute. The portion size of all the food was perfect and you'll leave satisfied. We started with the chicken wings and spring rolls. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and moist on the inside while not being greasy. The spring rolls had a perfect crunch and the chili sauce it comes with was delicious. The fresh ginger chicken was flavorful and the ginger flavor wasn't overpowering. The red curry with chicken was amazing. It was extremely flavorful and had good ratios of veggies to meat to curry. The Thai fried rice with chicken was classic and flavorful. The portion was enough for two people. I also paired my curry with the fried rice and loved the combination. Overall an excellent Thai spot tucked away in Port Washington. 10/10 will definitely be back again when I'm in the area.“
“This is my favorite go-to restaurant for lunch and dinner. The staff is always prompt and friendly and the food is always high quality and consistent. The restaurant is clean and pleasant. I only wish there are more restaurants like this one.“
“My first time trying Bangkok city Thia food and OMG! Sooo amazing! I did the chef special Branzino, the pineapple curry with shrimp , curry puffs and dumplings for takeout ! Food was absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to come back and dine “
“really good, clean food! good portions, fast delivery. I order lunch from Casa Asia regularly, but have not yet experienced their restaurant location. I only have had one mishap--I have a severe fish allergy, and ordered a shrimp teriyaki bento box that comes with a California roll. They will usually substitute a Shrimp Tempura roll for the fish-based CA Roll. This last order I received was delicious except for the roll contained imitation crab (which is made with pollock--FISH!). One bite and I knew something was awfully wrong. Don't know if someone was asleep at the wheel or if they just didn't care(?!).Despite the mishap, I will continue ordering from them, It's just SOOO GOOD! But will be especially vigilant when it comes to the to roll portion of my order(s)!“
“I love this place. I haven't been able to get dessert roti for the longest time and they have it here. I love the drunken noodles with just the right amount of spice. My husband always gets something new for dinner with his standard, never-disappointing curry puff. He's mostly enjoyed his menu adventures. My only piece of somewhat negative advice is to only eat the mango sticky rice in person, not delivery. Travel does sad things to this dish.“
“HANDS DOWN THE BEST THAI FOOD IVE EVER HAD! Ordered takeout and got crab wontons, chicken and veggie dumplings and Rama Peanut Sauce with veggies. 10/10 for everything! So delicious, so flavorful. Amazing first impression, can’t wait to dine in!“
“We arrived before 12:30 on a Saturday and was lucky to get a parking spot. But surprisingly after we parked more spots opened up. We ordered a papaya salad, beef noodle soup, duck noodle soup and chicken curry. The papaya salad was quite spicy.“
