“What a find— the food is next level delicious, fresh, beautiful! This was truly an unforgettable experience and will recommend this place to everyone!Stand out dishes: Pad Pa (spicy but delicious) + Pumpkin Custard ( wow wow wow).Thank you to the lovely staff!“
“My visit to this Thai restaurant was a delightful departure from my previous dining experiences, particularly in terms of the ambiance and decor which significantly exceeded that of the last establishment I visited. The atmosphere here was incredibly relaxing. To my right, an American family was enjoying their meal, while to my left, a group of friends gathered, adding to the convivial environment. Positioned at a cozy corner myself, the sight of a cheerful plant and the array of beverages on display brought me immense joy. The bartender, responsible for serving the dishes, was exceptionally attentive, reminding me of the pace at which my orders would arrive, contributing to a thoroughly pleasant dining experience.Despite the busy hour around 8 PM, which slightly delayed the serving of my dishes, it did not detract from my overall dining pleasure. Whether visiting alone or with friends, the experience has always been engaging and fun, making the expenditure wholly worthwhile. The decor and ambiance felt like an extension of my home, making it all the more special considering its mere three-minute distance from where I live. It felt as if I was dining in the comfort of my beautiful home.A particularly unique aspect of this restaurant was its preservation of authentic Thai restroom culture. The restroom, equipped with a large speaker, offered an immersive 3D auditory experience with original Thai music playing in the background, evoking memories of Bangkok and Phuket. This feature was amusing and added a distinctive touch to the overall ambiance.I plan to upload all relevant photos and videos to my Google review, guiding others through what I consider to be an exemplary dining experience.Thank you, and goodbye. And see you next time!!!“
“Our hotel concierge recommended this spot to us for a nice, easy casual night out. The food was delicious and flavorful - much more so than your typical Thai. The staff was pleasant and welcoming and the venue is pleasant. Definitely worth a visit.Vegetarian options: They can alter several dishes to be vegetarian. The tofu was great and flavorful.“
“AMBIANCE: The ambiance is serene, complemented by pleasant lighting, gold utensils, and simple yet classy details. The atmosphere exudes an industrial vibe, and the dress code is Manhattan Chic or Business Casual. FOOD: I'll undoubtedly return here. The food surpassed expectations! The Beef Brisket, paired with sweet and spicy potatoes, was a delightful blend of flavors. The brisket was perfectly tender. The drinks pack a punch, and the overall food experience is rich in flavor. The Oysters showcased exciting flavor palettes. The menu, extensive and featuring unique Thai dishes, impressed me. Everything had a nice level of spice. The laminated, clear, and clean menu added to the positive experience. SERVICE: Our waitress was courteous, attentive without being intrusive, and maintained a clean appearance with gloves. She took the time to explain the menu thoroughly and proactively informed us about any sold-out items. Communication was clear and easy to understand. CLEANLINESS: Utensils and glasses were spotless, although I didn't visit the restroom to comment on its cleanliness. NOISE: Minimal. Tables are generously spaced apart. You can hold a conversation here. There is no background music which is great! TIP: Take advantage of the Mon-Thurs happy hour, and be mindful of the 90-minute limit per table on busy nights. Place is pricey for drinks with $18 cocktails, and normal entrée prices $25-$30 Avg. The Crowd is very diverse.“
“In all food is perfect! Amazing food, everything tastes good. I’ve been there 10+ times all very good experiences, only literally only one time the waitress ( didn’t look familiar to me) was a bit rude, other than that the food and deco and hospitality are all amazing! ??“
“The food we had here was really great! Even though we appreciated the waitstaff for informing us of the ongoing happy hour, we felt rushed throughout our dining experience. There seemed to be a lack of proper pacing with our orders, which made us feel that we had to order quickly. These were minor issues, and despite it all we still provided a suitable tip.The waitress, however, upon noticing the tip came back to our table to ask if everything was ok. She mentioned that the tip we provided was below the amount suggested on the credit card machine. In my opinion at least, I don't think this was a proper way of seeking feedback (if that was even the intention). I would suggest that management finds other ways - perhaps a follow up email with a brief survey. Trying to have us explain why we gave the tip we gave doesn't seem like best practice, especially right after a meal. Keep in mind, the tip was not on the low end either.“
“I’ve been frequenting this restaurant with my girlfriend for quite some time now and the service never fails to impress. The staff are always accommodating to any specific requests and even go as far as to change the table arrangements to fit your needs if there is spare space, and this is just an example of how friendly they are every time I visit. The food is also extremely delicious and the authenticity has been vouched for as well. My favorite dishes are Tom Kha Gai and the Pad See Ew which are both consistent in quality every time and reasonably priced as well.Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to anybody looking for a nice lunch or dinner with excellent food and staff, and a cozy atmosphere.“
“This was one of my most pleasant dining experiences in the NYC area. This little spot located in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn is worth the trip out of the city, and certainly a trip down the street.Let's start with the atmosphere and decor. It is such a refined and beautiful room. It isn't overdone, but right up to the edge of perfection. While I was sitting there, I kept thinking that I'd like to create an interior like this. Then, the staff greeted us with such kindness. I can't tell you the times that I have entered an establishment and wondered if someone even saw me. This staff was so quick to welcome us. It was almost like they wanted us there. The food was so well-plated. Before I tasted the food, I was enamored. It was almost too pretty to eat.I had the papaya salad. I loved it. It was the perfect balance of sweetness to heat. There was perfect texture. Some peanuts added with fermented fish sauce, shrunken shrimp and had a little heat, for those sensitive to that. Then, I had the duck meatballs served in a beautiful green foam on sticks. Next was the pad see ew with pork belly. I forgot the actual name and couldn't find it on the online menu. But, I didn't forget the wonderful flavors. I also had the crispy purple eggplant. It was prepared with green and yellow bell peppers in a chili pepper seasoning. This would be a regular stop if lived anywhere close, and will be must stop on my return.“
“This is a great local place to dine in but ordering from there is hit or miss. They mess up orders and ask if they can just fix it next time. Also when you call about delivery status they will say anything to get you off the phone. I was told my order will take another 30 mins and then said I can just come pick it up. Then they asked for my name. I asked how could they know it was 30 mins if they didn’t even know my name? When I gave it, they said the order is “Oh, it’s already on the way.” Of course it was not. It is really disappointing because when they first opened their service was unbelievable and caring. Now they’re just ordinary.“
“amazing food. I recommend all my friends here. What I had the last time I went... App - Curry Puff - Thai dumpling Entree - Red curry beef - Khao soi nua Drink - Thai ice tea - Pi-lin (Mocktail) Dessert - Banana sticky rice You HAVE to try this place.“
“What an incredible find! I love Thai food and this is hands-down the best Thai restaurant in NYC. The entire staff was so friendly and accommodating and took great care to make sure we had a wonderful experience. Even the chef came out to greet us and make sure he got the spicy levels right for each of our dishes. I had the Pad See Ew with vegetarian duck, which was the best I have ever had. Highly recommend!!!!Vegetarian options: The vegetarian duck (in the pad see ew) is the best I have ever had!!“
“This just might be our favorite Thai spot in Queens. It's a tight fit both inside out, and would recommend calling ahead to get a reservation, but we were able to be squeezed in quickly with the help of their super friendly servers. Splurging on the super-cheap cocktails is a must, and both of our duck entrées were to die for. That soup broth still sticks with you for a long time. Portions are large so plan appropriately, but it's hard not to get everything on the menu.“
“I loved Sup Thai Kitchen! The atmosphere, the service, and the food were just all an A+. The food came out really quick and they were all super delicious. The menu has so many good options to choose from and the desserts were a great way to end the meal. They have really good boba too! Definitely a new favorite!“
“Delicious food, very friendly and lovely staff. Beautifully decorated shop If you come during the day, you can take photos in a warm corner. But if you come in the evening, the photography angle will look different and beautiful in another way.“
“We found this place when my wife was pregnant 1 year and some weeks ago! Ever since then we have come here at least once every 2 months! The Atmosphere, the service and of course the Food (how yummy the food is) has kept us as regular here! To the point where we have not only spread the words of this place, but also brought our family here to enjoy the food and even my picky eaters in the family ended up loving the food here specially the pineapple fried rice!So glad we found this place and glad it has become our family tradition! ???️???♥️In addition this is a really Family friendly restaurant as well!Ps: this place has seen my Baby grow from when he was born to now been 1 year old Parking: Make sure to come at least 15 to 20 minutes before just to make sure you find parking and get to the restaurant in time!“
“As you enter the restaurant, it has a more cozier and relaxed eating experience. The food took some time but it’s worth the wait. This is going to be a go to spot if I want Thai food in a relaxed setting. I highly recommend the Roti Dipp. The peanut dipping sauce is so savory.“
“Come in for a delicious Thai meal! The large windows and light color walls give you a sense of relaxation and comfort. The food is superb! The calamari were crunchy and not extremely chewy, pairing well with the sauce. The braised beef was soft and tender, easily melting in the mouth. The salad and soup are flavorful, with just the right amount of herbs and spices. The dishes can be shared amongst others, which I recommend doing so you can try a bit of everything!“
“We had been planning to visit Zaab Zaab Elmhurst location for a while and finally got a chance last weekend. Their decor is cozy like home with limited tables but the wait wasn’t too bad.We heard their Thai style grilled chicken is one of the recommendations from Bib Gourmand so we had Gai Yang Vichean which came with 2 different types of Som Tum, lettuce, sauce and rice to share. The portion of the chicken was more than enough for 4. It’s a little dry but amazingly delicious to enjoy with unique sauces. It came with 2 different salads and I love the classical Som Tum Thai. One of our favorites tonight was their Kau Lau Hotpot which the ingredients were various with great portion. The broth was sweet and the meat texture was braised soft.“
“Very nice Thai restaurant! Had the lunch special the other day and it was super good value. Their lunch special might be a dollar or two more expensive than some others, but the ingredients are definitely more superior. Well worth the money. Excellent!“
“Tonight was the third time I ordered food from Atit Thai (more on that below).Excited to have a new Thai option in the area. The dishes I've ordered taste great and are a little more special than the average Thai restaurant in the area.Tonight I was disappointed with the so-called tropical fruit said. It did not arrive as advertised with 50% of the fruit being apples. There are a few pieces of kiwi and canned pineapple. 1/4 of an apple is not worth +$12. I wouldn't mind if the fruit doesn't match the published photo, but please at least make it tropical.Note on the second attempted order- the restaurant canceled my order through Uber and sent me scrambling to find lunch during work hours.Wishing this restaurant success, just some optimization needed.“
“A cute little Thai Find which has amazing food . I think there is something in the NYC air! They have very limited seating but offer a huge menu !We tried their dumpling soup which was really tasty and the dumplings were so soft and good !Also had the Thai Basil Minced Chicken with rice , Warning ! It’s spicy but if you can handle the heat it’s delicious ?!And we ordered a Drunken Noodle which again was delicious, the portions are a little less if you come from outside NYC but the food is 10 times better .Recommended for great food !“
“Went to Pata Cafe for lunch in Elmhurst, Queens, NY. Looking for authentic Thai? You'll find dishes here that are hard to find in the ??. NY Times and Michelin recommended for casual authentic Thai fare.Had Thai Lychee tea and Yum Woon Sen. Sweet and complex flavor for the tea. Spicy, tangy, earthy, and herby flavors for the dish. Too full for dessert! The wife had the beef soup.Only seats 12 people max. Cash or Venmo only. Lots of free street parking on a Saturday. Can't wait to go back!Dietary restrictions: Most dishes dairy freeParking: Found parking right in front immediately on a Saturday for lunch“
“Food and drink is great - authentic northern Thai food - duck isn’t greasy, the chicken liver & gizzards is to die for - everything is perfectly seasoned & the best part they made me my favorite salad - spicy cucumber salad which isn’t on the menu - will be going back for some more great eats!“
“No frill place. You choose your entrees over rice. 2 meats $15.50 3 meats $16. Just a great deal especially since the food is made fresh daily. So by the evening time the most popular dishes are sold out. I believe they switch up some of the meats monthly. Garlic pork and spicy ground pork are my go to’s. The space is clean and very cute during warmer weather. And the workers are always welcoming.“
“casual vibe, with much more than casual flavor. the taste of the wok's fire truly comes through. good doses of fish sauce in the noodles. Thai food has become as ubiquitous as Chinese, and you get used to generic and uninspired restaurants. but this is in the top 1% of Thai places in the area. very impressed. service was also very friendly“
“Holic Thaj is one of my favorite Thai restaurants. I’ve been several times over the past year and the dishes are always flavorful. I recommend the chive pancakes, panang curry, drunkin noodles and/or crab fried rice. There’s also a variety of options for my plant based friends. Lastly, the ambience is jazzy/homey, the owner is very personableand the staff is so sweet. Hope you guys enjoy!“
“Bangklyn is without a doubt one of the tastiest and most unique restaurants in the city. The food is amazing and fresh, especially the fried chicken. The owner/cook/busboy is awesome and even though he won't say much, he is kind when he does talk and he works really hard to serve the customer. As for the decor, is it a thrift shop? Is it just decoration? It's difficult to tell, but either way it's cool. Highly recommend.“
“I have been craving nam khao tod since living in Europe where SE Asian food is fairly basic. This did not disappoint! They made it spicy as I requested and gave me more herbs/lettuce for free when I'd run out! Note it's cash only.“
“Calamari was good. Drunken noodles were super flavorful. Vegetarian green curry was also very flavorful and delicious but not spicy like requested. Knocking a star because the Thai iced tea was wayyy tooooo sweet to the point where it didn’t taste like Thai iced tea anymore. We asked if it was possible to make it less sweet and they added more milk. But we still couldn’t drink it. I’d skip the Thai iced tea here and get the food. Food is really yummy. Servers are all attentive. This place is cash only which is a little inconvenient. They have an ATM inside but still, who wants ATM and bank fees just to eat at a cash only restaurant.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian menu“
“The khao soi is out of this world. Reminded me of the first time I had it in Chiang Mai.Everything about this place is stellar. Food is obviously top tier, but all the decor and the heavy red ambience is so perfect. Best Thai restaurant I’ve been to in Brooklyn.“
“Nice ambience and place for prayer just won my heart. The serving lady was very nice even though she was doing everything by herself. We ordered :Crab Rangoon: 10/10 crispy. Small bites. Loved it.Roti masamman: 7/10 The only thing I think they can do better. The gravy was good but bread was very greasy.Thai red curry: the portion size is good. Tastes and texture was amazing. But I ordered spicy, wasn’t very spicy for my taste bud. I will give it a 9.5/10.Drunken Noodles: flavor texture everything was just perfect. 10/10.“
“The food here is out of this world. Everything is so fresh, tasty, colorful, and delicious. The two sisters who run the place are very kind and again, love the food. Outside of Thailand, this is the best Thai food I've ever had in NYC!“
“Server and bartender were sooo sweet and tried so hard to make us vegan Thai iced tea. If u have a dairy allergy tho make sure it's vegan, they first made it with milk, then evaporated milk on second try thinking that was dairy free, and then found a can of coconut and showed us to make sure. The spicy lamb was delicious. Tofu and bean sprouts good too but really disappointing proportions of a dish made entirely of tofu and bean sprouts for 21 dollars.“
“Best Thai food I have found since I moved to NYC. Cute lil low key spot, nice staff are always welcoming even though I am only running in for a quick take out. Need to spend some more time here as the food is authentic and next level delicious“
“This is my favorite restaurant in Astoria. Vibe is relaxed and the food is AMAZING.I'm a huge fan of the sukhothai noodles, fried pork strips, and the goi neur (warning, they were NOT kidding about the spice).Love this place, I'm tempted to stop inside anytime I'm in the area!“
“It's a cozy, atmospheric place. The service is great and pleasant. Very welcoming vibe and cozy place to sit and enjoy. Staffs are polite and doesn't feel rushed like other places. Thai food is always a healthy and great selection of bubble tea.Kid-friendliness: Ambiance is playful with comfortable lighting and seating.“
“Lovely addition to a neighborhood that has too many bland food options! The coconut kare came in a real coconut with actual coconut pieces, so delicious. The Thai tea cake was light and not too sweet with great flavor. Service was a little slow but they are new and figuring it out. Glad to see this place open!“
“For $14, got vegetable soup, egg noodles in a satay like sauce, fish balls, braised Hainan chicken, vegetable salad, and Thai iced tea. You get extreme value and phenomenal food! Ordered online for pickup and food ready in less than 10 minutes. Staff is super friendly. Huge portions. Had to save half for later. They have a few tables, but do mostly takeout and delivery. Can't wait to go back!Dietary restrictions: Most items dairy free“
“The service attitude is very good. She kept asking us if it suits our taste. I think it is very considerate. The lady has a very good service attitude. She helped us take photos and gave guidance. The food is delicious. I recommend the Pad Thai the most.“
“This has made it to my top NYC Thai list. The food was amazing and service was great. They couldn’t have been nicer. Also, if you are looking for a whole in the wall spot this is definitely one. There may be seats for 15 people in the restaurant. The fun part is, you have to ring the door bell to get in. That might be for security purposes though. Solid 9/10. This will be a go to spot for me. Oh, and last, super inexpensive.“
“The environment of this restaurant is very good. The food is not only beautiful in appearance, but more importantly, the taste is very good, the color is good, fresh and refreshing, and the price is not high. It is suitable for taking the family together.“
“Do you need food fast? Do you need it delivered or can I go to the space and eat? This space covers all bases. The food is always fresh and hot, when they say the "spicy" they mean it! I have gone through all of the rice dishes, soups and now I'm in the Pad Thai! I prefer to dine in because the drinks are good and the service is always with a smile. Shouts to the crew! You do not want to pass this spot up For good consistent Thai!“
“Found my new favorite Thai restaurant. This is hands down the best Thai food ever! We ordered the Tofu Pad Thai, Tom Kha Soup, Chicken Satay, Snapper, Crabmeat Fried Rice and Thai Iced Tea. So delicious! Not only was the food amazing but the service was also amazing. Our server Jack was very attentive. We definitely recommend this place and will absolutely be returning soon to try other dishes!“
“Very satisfied with the taste and portion size of Thai takeout from Thonglor, which may have gotten a new owner or chef since the old Red Basil? Green curry is tasty and includes nice large chunks of eggplant and bamboo shoots. Noodle dishes like pad kee mao and pad see ew have generous portion of noodles. We normally order from Pochana but have a new favorite in Thonglor, which costs slightly more but you definitely get a larger portion and good quality in return.“
“Generous portions, consistent great taste, and very affordable at $10-11 for most dishes! I've gotten their chicken drunken noodles and pad see ew and both have been very tasty and perfect for a cheap after-work dinner. The woman at the food truck is always friendly and the noodles are prepared fast, which is a plus.“
“Party at home isn't bad idea at all after ordering out from Ayada Thai. Everyone is happy with deep fried fish with mango salad on the side. We order 2 kind of sausage and both of them are delicious. Grilled beef we wanted medium rare but we got kind of rare, so we had to cooked more by ourselves. Papaya salad is just ok and a bit salty. I was disappointed on Ka Nom Jeen noodle (side dish) the noodles were too hard and too big, not like Thai style Ka Nom Jeen. My favorite dish was Koong char nam pra (row shrimp with spicy fish sauce) Overall, they did a good job.“
“I love to dine here with my family as well as order takeout. The food is consistently good and the staff is always courteous and helpful. My favorite dish, which I highly recommend, is the Spicy Basil Fish.Parking: free street parking but I've never had an issue finding a spaceKid-friendliness: the food is kid friendly.“
“Such a great place. The food was amazing, the restaurant is nice and cozy, and the staff are great. The Massaman Short Ribs are a must try, and the Blue Rain is so refreshing.Special shout out to our server Darrow! He made the night very enjoyable for us.“
“BUA Thai is so gorgeous! The whole venue is adorned with flowers it's so aesthetically pleasing. You have to try the crab rangoon and rock shrimp lychee I'm definitely going back for these! Good luck choosing just one entree cause they all look so delicious, I had the BUA noodles which is so full of flavor. Love it here definitely going back!“
