“Really great food and such nice staff. They’re always super accommodating and helpful. Planned to do a private party with them and they were so so nice and helpful. We go here at least once a month maybe more. They also have a great lunch special. You can order takeout and they package everything really well also. Always arrives piping hot.
I will say they are pricey though but I feel like the quality is there. Some things are a little overpriced IMO but I’m okay with paying it because they’re so nice.“

“One of my favorite Thai places now in Brooklyn. Their dishes and drinks are so incredible and flavorful. Love their pad Thai! I feel like a lot of pad thais in the city can be a bit bland but theirs is super flavorful and delicious. Also amazing Khao Soi!“

“The street adjacent to this restaurant is a literal Fortnite lobby. I swear I passed Tung Tung Tung Sahur crossing the street. The thing about this restaurant is that it is inspired by Thai street food and you can tell they did the distressed tiles to make it seem lived in. But that vibe is offset by a super Brooklyn-y merch section and pricing. Not that i’m complaining. The smash burger and crab fried rice (wym a crab fried this rice??) were delicious! The fried rice particularly spiked my LDL levels that’s why it tasted so good but if your cholesterol is high then have 911 on speed dial. It comes with a spoon of palpitations (yuzu miso butter) on the side. My mouth is watering

“Great food, staff, and atmosphere at an incredible price. I come from the Chicago area and I am not impressed most of the time. Really enjoyed the entire experience and this is now my favorite place in NYC. The four of us all enjoyed it immensely. Wish ai had one by me. Thanks Nuaa!“

“The space is configured like a film set: you are in some backwater honkytonk in a remote outpost in Thailand in the 70’s. Psychedelic Thai music along with some disco blares loudly beneath the flickering lights, corrugated metal awnings, advertisements for beer, Fanta, god-knows-what hair care products — it actually looks like a sort of Thai bodega. Leaning forward from your antique movie theatre seat and peering into the downstairs you see large glass jars illuminated with red light. Some Mephistophelian herbal concoctions. On a large screen plays some grainy indifferent Bruce Lee knockoff from the 70’s. You get the picture….“

“They got more expensive which sucks but their food is really good. I like ordering out from them. I really like the calamari, thai iced tea, their curries and pad thai. One thing that they can work on though is their calamari because sometimes the breading is soggy.“

“Truly one of the most memorable and delicious dinners I've had in the city. We had the traditional Thai menu and was just floored at the quality. The hosts/tour guides were so fun and informative; it really did feel like we were on a little tour of Thailand! It's a small spot so would recommend for a date night or a small group. Will definitely be coming back to try a different menu!“

“I had the vegetable dumplings, vegetable/tofu Pad Thai, and papaya salad. Everything was thoughtfully packaged for takeout; served cold items stayed cold and hot ones hot. When I rolled up, there was a cheery atmosphere. The tofu in the pad Thai was soft not fried. Not normally my favorite preparation, but it was a solid dish with lots of vegetables, not just a stray carrot here and there. Papaya salad was perfectly spicy.“

“The service was timely and our server was friendly and very helpful with menu choices and spice level. Atmosphere is so much fun, just the right amount of Thai kitchen. Loved the music which was a mix of 60’s French pop music, Hawaiian guitar, fun easy time!“

“I can't pronounce most of what is on this menu and it doesn't matter. Ask the staff your taste preferences and they will steer you in the right direction. Beware, the authentic stuff is spicy. I love spicy food and I was sweating bullets, definitely ask for an extra napkin to swipe the forehead.“

“Such a cozy place. We had a pretty big party and the staff was so accommodating. A few of us sat at the bar, where Terry made us all delicious cocktails (I had the Field of Violet, pictured below). Once we sat, TK was so kind and patient. There were no discrepancies with the orders, which was impressive for such a large party. The food came out quick enough and was DELICIOUS. I ordered Pad See Ew and finished before I realized I never took a photo. Definitely will be back!“

“The Yum Pak Boong Grob is literally the best dish I have ever tasted. My taste buds sing whenever I eat this — it’s salty, sweet, acidic, spicy. It’s crunchy and so satisfying to eat. I get this every single time from here without fail whether it be via delivery or even dining in (which I prefer bc the hospitality is out of this world, they’re awesome.)“

“I went here do to tik tok. Upon entering the place is very small, but decorated nicely. I was solo so I sat by the bar area, I ordered curry puffs it was good, I ordered leeche drink was good, ordered the green curry sauce with salmon was good. The only thing I didn't like is feeling rush to leave. I still had food in my plate taking my time the guy that was helping the bartender comes with the payment machine, are you finish I'm like no. I ordered something else, but now I will like to pack this up to go.. then the bartender was taking my glass I'm like I'm not done, it still had liquor in there I'm like I'm not done (at least ask if I am , don't assume now because I paid I'm done drinking). I dont like to feel rush. A girl sat next to me said that's how they are, they make you feel rush, they need to change that, granted the place small bit unwanted there that long. I learned there's a sister restaurant and it's bigger I'll visit that one .“

“Everything about this place was AMAZING! The service from the employees was great and so was the food. The Chicken Pad Thai was a bit sweet but had that classic flavour to it. The dining area in the backyard was decorated with beautiful flowers along the walls which created a great place for taking food pictures.“

“Kub Kao is the best! Definitely the most delicious pad see ew in the neighborhood. They have a unique menu that sets their food apart from other local spots. Great if you’re craving something new or want a classic dish done well. The owner/manager is so nice as well, I always feel welcomed and taken care of. Absolutely recommend that you come by and support this local restaurant.“

“Cute spot, and not too busy when we came on a Tuesday night at 8PM. Service was a bit slow at times, but all the people working were nice.
My favorite dishes were the spicy sweet corn salad (nice acidity and sweetness) and tom yum soup (good flavor). The tofu clay pot rice was also pretty flavorful and reminds me of a Taiwanese sticky rice dish. The pad Thai was a little sweet for our tastes and the eggplant basil could have used a little more depth of flavor. Overall though, enjoyed!“

“Superb home made Thai food, with the recipes made from scratch. I cook a lot of Thai food at home so have a high standard when I eat out, and this was excellent. The staff are very welcoming, energetic and passionate, and the atmosphere has a homely feel as a lot of friends converge on this place to eat, drink, and make merry in a cosy ambiance. Thank you.“

“I wanted to be spontaneous and try a restaurant in Williamsburg. We were greeted by Amanda and Che who were the friendliest host I have met in a long time. We didn't have reservations but a table opened up quickly. I love the esthetics of the restaurant and all the murals on the walls.
Their spicy mango cocktail seems to be their top seller because almost every table had a glass, just be warned it comes with a whole chili pepper inside. I also tried non alcoholic Coco bah which was simple and refreshing.
Food was all unique Thai food and flavorful. I told them I have a shrimp allergy on our lovely server Emma wrote on the menu what had shrimp or shrimp ingredients on the menu. For appetizers my friend tried the squid ink calamari and Grilled Pork Cheeks both incredible starters.
My friend had the crab fried rice which is also popular in the restaurant and 30 day dry aged beef Kaprow. The dish looks like ground beef but the flavors were amazing with garlic, basil and hot chili. I will definitely want to go back and try other items on their menu.“

“I usually get take out here and it’s just great Thai food. I go for the noodles or fried rice and I have not been dissatisfied with any single one of those dishes. I remember having the flu one time, felt terrible for so long. I decided to get the wonton soup and that lifted my spirits. You can tell these people truly love making food and it shows in their dishes.“

“This place is really outstanding. Easily the best Thai in Bushwick, maybe all of Brooklyn.
They do the small things perfectly. Like take their tofu - it’s fried fresh and so perfect compared to other places who have absolutely terrible tofu.
Their curries are rich and flavorful. Their noodles have amazing depth of flavor.“

“Amazing food for the price. The lunch special was 11.95 and it comes with 2 sides. I got the green curry (chicken), tofu soup and vegetable spring roll. Spring roll was your usual the but the tofu soup was great and very flavor. The green was curry was INCREDIBLE. Full of flavor with a hint of spice. The chicken was nice and soft. Very filling and absolutely worth the visit.“

“Good good and good service. Was it the best Thai food? No. But it’s a solid neighborhood restaurant. The sauces were generally too sweet for my taste. But others may like it. The fried whole branzino was very good. Legit spicy hot peppers but not Thai spicy overall. Papaya salad was fresh and crunchy.“

“We had our favorite duck dish last night from Amarin Cafe. I had pre-ordered it, because it often sells out, but arrived an hour early because I was looking at a clock I had not yet set back! They graciously agreed to get started on it right away, so I walked around the block, and it was done.“
