“Hi all! Yesterday we ordered three lagmans to take with us and were absolutely delighted!!! I've definitely never tried this before! It was truly amazing!!! The portions are large and I thought about not eating it all at once, but I couldn’t stop myself? Very nice service. We were treated to tea, and they also close at 9, but they waited for us for half an hour, thank you very much for that!? I’ll definitely be back ?“
“Lemongrass Brooklyn gets a 11/10 for me! The food was just as delicious as it looks and not only that the interior was STUNNING as well. I definitely did not feel like I was in Brooklyn. I enjoyed all the dishes that ordered, I loved how they took time to present the food so nicely. Not only was the food presented well, but it also tasted amazing. My favorite was the bbq beef short ribs and mango sticky rice. Overall the experience was great and I would definitely be coming back in the future!“
“Tonight, I ordered the fish maw chicken soup and the cold cucumber scallion salad. The latter was crunchy, refreshing, and satisfyingly well-balanced in its herby dressing with crushed peanuts. The soup was hot and rich, packed with silky fish maw, springy noodles, four kinds of mushrooms, lettuce, bouncy fried tofu, tofu skin, and tender poached chicken. Beautiful, fresh, comforting, delicious! The restaurant was basically spotless with cheerful vibes and prompt service. Other customers were either chatting happily or eating. 5 stars. I'm already planning my return to try the mala tripe soup.“
“I love going to or even just ordering from Shan. Everything is fantastic (although I especially love their dan dan noodles). We usually share the Pork Dumplings in Chill Oil, the Ma-La Szechuan Wonton, Shrimp Dumplings, Pork Soup Dumpling, Crab Roe Soup Dumpling, Sweet & Spicy Udon, and Sliced pork belly w. mustard green.“
“The best thing about the restaurant is the old lady that owns the restaurant! Absolutely! Adorable and soo sweet! The beef noodle dish was so5 stars for 5 seasons1. Owner is sweet! Sweetest old lady you’ll ever meet!2. Beef noodle dish was perfection! Super flavorful, noodle texture perfect! Beef was so tender!3. Price was amazing!4. Fast service! Super!5. Location was good! Not the best!“
“Super hole in the wall spot I stumbled upon randomly - I sat at the counter right up against the kitchen, which offered a nice view of the prepping process. Ordered the chili garlic noodles, which were pretty spicy as advertised! Don't come here expecting a super authentic taste, but the influence is certainly there. Didn't blow my mind, but I thought it was a fair value for the large portion of fresh veggies, and everything was cooked very nicely! Service was super friendly, and it's honestly quite amazing the amount of dishes they churn out with such a tiny kitchen and three-persons-staff. I will say the vibes were a little confusing with the predominantly southeastern Asian menu, anime on the tv, and Kpop music playing lol. Also, the place could use better ventilation - was left with my clothes smelling heavily of food.“
“This is true Japan. Real Japan. A modest restaurant of the highest quality. A small space on a side street. This is authentic Japan. There are two tables and a counter - 12 seats total. The chefs are right there. The server too, all are soft spoken and focused on their craft. The food is... The food is... The food is so good. So, so good. The sashimi melted, balanced with the spicy thing. The mazeman incredible, full of umami and flavor. The ramen healed my soul :)Do me a favor if you go... Eat, enjoy and leave. Be efficient... Be respectful. Be Japanese. It's a small space, they're too nice to move you along, but c'mon, allow them to serve more people and make more money“
“The fried wonton was ok, but don't expect it to look like the money bag wonton advertised in the pictures outside. Tomato broth noodle and minced pork noodle were huge portions. My favorite was their FLAT chicken wing, very crunchy. Service excellent. Very attentive. Cleaned up table quickly. Unfortunately, music too loud, could not even heard the person across from me.“
“Delicious authentic Thai food inspired by the vibrant floating markets of Thailand in a great location in Brooklyn and the service was friendly and attentive. The establishment isn't overly decorated or saturated with themed decor but has subtle hints of Thai culture throughout the restaurant which is nice. It has a cozy and intimate feel but it's super casual. On the menu:Mama Tom Yum grilled river prawnsCrying TigerShrimp DonutsDuck CrepeFloating marketWatermelon mojitoMango sticky riceThe food was delicious but the drinks were lacking in flavor as they both were unsweetened. Not sure if the bartender forgot an ingredient because both drinks were almost like drinking a seltzer. Very pretty but lacked flavor.Overall 9/10Ig: Thefunfluencer“
“as you can see — we really dug into the delicious food at nan xiang express. what a great find! after a long night of research and dancing we were grateful for what felt like an oasis in the vast williamsburg desert. the food was great and the atmosphere lent itself to great conversation. five stars — and if i could, six!“
“I remember this place before they even moved into an actual restaurant, it was just a small stall shop on 49th street with just a standing table. I cannot find this flavor anywhere else!! I love every single dish here but especially the zhajiang mi xian (no soup version), the sour spicy dumplings, and the pork intestine noodles. ? this place has to be on my list of top 10 favorite noodles.“
“Giving it a 4 stars because the effort and intent was there, but the Miso ramen was unfortunately too rich for my tastes and I couldn't finish the broth, although the wavy noodles were perfect, very Q. The Karaage was some of the best I've ever had - it came out quickly and straight out of the fryer and it was melting in my mouth. One waitress was working the whole restaurant and was doing a fantastic job. 5 star service for sure.“
“The quality of broth is great, and always consistent but lately the Chachu pork slices have been getting smaller and smaller . This time I realize it wasn’t only smaller in size but thinner and fattier .. the fat was almost 50% of both pieces . This is unacceptable and disappointing.“
“The EM is a great little Vietnamese restaurant. You can eat very well here and the service is quick and very friendly. The EM has a small map where there is something for everyone. The special drinks/cocktails are very refreshing and also very tasty. The furnishings are very simple but still somehow cozy. Can recommend the EM“
“Google's search engine optimization has failed this place. The food here is delicious, filling, and affordable - especially enjoyed the spicy beef noodle soup and the pan fried pork buns. Service is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Will be coming here again, probably this week.“
“It's simply the best soup in the NYC, period. It's comfort food. The soup reached your soul. It's homey, like coming into visit a close relative. With that, you immediately feel love from the chefs who just humbly give you one of the best things you ever tasted. I'll dream about the food.“
“Really enjoyed this place, felt like a proper Izakaya in parts (there's a cool bar seating bit round the back for 5-6 people) - huge sharing table too. Food is excellent, and I thought really fairly priced, great beer too - highly recommend!“
“For Japanese ramen in Brooklyn this is the spot. Going along, going with friends, this place is a fast casual meal under 1 hr. Recommend getting the standard ramen, if you feeling hungry get the set with extra toppings to ensure you leave feeling full.Pro tip if you want to drink the soup, make the broth lower richness and less spicy.Noodles were cooked to my expectations and the pork was thinly sliced and brought a lot of flavors. No tipping establishment is great, bathroom clean, staff friendly, you prepay before you get seated.“
“Even if you don't use their app to order ahead - you can order through Yelp's pass through to their website just find - they are a consistent good quality food- the soup dumplings are awesome and I haven't had a bad experience- quick and hot and decent prices too.“
“Liked the food a lot, it was fresh and very tasty! We ordered the sesame cold noodles, garlic Chinese eggplant, salt and pepper tofu and vegan made weeping tiger salad. Honestly each dish was better than the other, right amount of spice and was light. The atmosphere was kind of dive bar-y which was pretty nice. The prices were a bit high in my opinion though. The service wasn’t very good. Our server wasn’t very knowledgeable about the menu as we were asking her questions about it. She brought the check right after we finished our food without asking if we needed anything else which I found it very odd and sloppy! Maybe she was new…“
“It had been a long time since I'd been excited about Chinese food, but dining at Noodle Lane on a recent Sunday evening changed that completely. This is damn good food- intensely flavorful, surprising, beautifully presented. We have eaten take-out from Noodle Lane several times and always enjoyed- particularly the soup dumplings- which have to be tried to be believed- but dining in the restaurant made the food taste even more delicious. Along with dumplings and our noodle favorites- we tried two dishes that were new-to-us: Mala Dry Pot with shrimp, and Pickled Fish Sichuan Style. Mala Dry Pot was chock full of things I love- crunch from cauliflower and veg, tofu, sesame, and a delicious sauce, despite the word "dry" in the dish name. The Pickled Fish was unlike anything I've ever had- tart and spicy at the same time, but not too hot, so that the flavors shone through. We had a side of green and fresh seasonal veg and enjoyed a nice Gruner Veltliner with the meal- cooling and bright paired with the bold flavors. Throughout the evening, the service was professional and warm, though the staff was hopping with lots of tables filled and lots of take-out orders being prepared. We were near the kitchen- which has a big window to see where the magic takes place- in a cozy corner. Noodle Lane is such a great addition to the neighborhood- though also worth coming to from afar. The interior is bright and modern but also cozy; a comfortable space for a gathering of two or three friends; and also nice for families. Our kid loves the food! We enjoyed the neighborliness of the restaurant and seeing people we knew, having a short-but-sweet conversation before they left. Our experience dining at Noodle Lane came at the end of an incredibly busy period and it was so nice to simply sit back, relax, and be treated to amazing food. You should come treat yourselves, too!“
“Best Chinese food I've had in a long while. Thank you for the amazing service, food, and drinks!! Everything was cooked just right and very delicious. The bar was a great place to be, very friendly and great bartender. The tea was so good too.Parking: It wasn't hard to find parking nearby.“
“Such a cute little spot! I thought they had a really nice variety of dumplings, soups and small plates. I loved everything I ordered. I got the chicken sticky rice, Chinese broccoli and sesame tofu. The music and atmosphere is really lovely. Perfect place for a low key peaceful meal.“
“Everything we ordered was Amazing from the broccoli and bok choy to the pork soup dumplings and all the other dumplings we ordered. the shumai was the best we've ever had!!! we will for sure be coming back to Brooklyn for more soup dumplings!!!“
“Xi'an famous Foods gained notoriety for its quality hand pulled noodles and bold flavors. This location in Brooklyn upholds that same quality and flavor in a no frills environment. Upon entering, you order from a kiosk and within minutes are served your food of choice! On this visit, I opted for the spicy cumin lamb noodles and they didn't disappoint. During your visit, you'll see a sign that mentions ordering the food "not spicy" would tremendously alter the flavor and I agree. I would recommend trying to bear the spice even if you aren't a big fan of spicy foods because they add a tremendous amount of flavor. The noodles were bouncy yet firm with each bite. The lamb was tender and coated with cumin to add additional flavor to the spicy soup. Overall, Xi'an Famous foods is a must try if you're looking for hand pulled noodles and can brave some spice. PSA: make sure to grab an abundance of napkins as the soup can splash and stain and become a nightmare if you're wearing a white shirt!“
“everything was excellent! I had a tremendous lunch with my wife for $11.99 per person. When you enter you go to the buffet and take a plastic snack (there you will see them on the buffet), you can take as much as you want until the food is full and "it can close well.", then you pay and that's it! only $11.99 per (person/meal).I HOW did you hear! and I was fine! ??I fully recommend this place! It is fine and economical and you eat very tasty!“
“The food here is delicious! Some of my personal favorites are the chicken chasew, pad see ew, Tom yum, and Ricepot pad Thai. Every time I try something from this place I am always served amazing food. Give this place a chance, their food is of great quality !!“
“Stopped in for a quick lunch. I had the tofu bahn mi. Service was quick, friendly, and helpful. Solid bahn mi. I added some sriracha to give it some extra spice! There was one gender neutral restroom. The staff didn't rush me out after finishing and kindly pointed out that they have free wifi.“
“My friend and I were at the NYC transit museum nearby and stumbled in here on a rainy day. The food was absolutely incredible, specifically the chive pancakes and cashew nut saute which we got with steamed tofu. Also their lunch special has a phenomenal vegetable soup. Servers are very kind and food came out quickly. Very much recommend.“
“Overall rating: 4.5I didn’t realize this was a chain when I visited. Clean area and nice service. Not a place to sit down, but rather to go. I had the Szechuan braised beef and it is SPICY. I wasn’t prepared how spicy. On the first day, the broth just tasted like hot water. It was missing the flavor or fullness of broth. But on the second day, I added some soy and a few other Asian spices & it got so much better. Surprisingly day 2 was better than day 1. I could come back to try another, less spicy dish, if I’m in the area.Definitely more a lunch to-go spot, than anything else. Recommend giving it a try.“
“One of my favorite Thai places in the neighborhood! Everything was made with love, including the papaya salad, green curry, and vegetables basil. My favorite dish of my visit was the pa kee mao with the tofu. The noodles were so chewy and the tofu was so flavorful! Plus the staff was thr nicest person I’ve ever met!“
“Finally able to get the Thai flavors i have been looking all over nyc for. Not overly sweet or bland with too much fish sauce. The beef salad was perfect, if you're into that. The tom ka gai was finally not sweet like other places! Thank you Thai Ros Thip, i am you new regular “
“Absolutely delicious hidden gem. Vibrant and fragrant dishes from the Xi’ang region. Lots of cumin and peppers ! I heard they were most celebrated for their cumin lamb pulled noodles which were absolutely delicious. I got “regular” spice and it was pretty spicy , but enjoyable ! There is an option to tone down the spice if you prefer but I recommend eating them how the house classically prepares them!I also got the cucumbers which were crunchy spicy and addicting.I will absolutely be returning , my food was ready quickly“
“Fantastic on every level! Each dish we tried was a masterpiece and absolutely delicious. The service was outstanding beginning with the warm welcome we received, to the expert advice from the owners, and culminating with the attentive service from the wait staff. The wine, custom cocktail, and beer lists were interesting and eclectic, and we loved the wines and cocktails recommended by our server. All in all, we enjoyed a wonderful dining experience in a beautiful restaurant. I highly recommend Rangoon!“
“This is another hole in wall place that we found and thought was a gem. Everything was so good. Basically a hot bowl of noodles soup. They bring everything out in their own little bowl and then you put them all in the boiling soup. You can also ask them to cook everything before bringing it out. We ordered their frice rice which we very nice too. Rice was very fresh and has a nice aroma. The place is small but clean. Better get there early or plan to wait. You go up to order and they will bring to you but tip is not required.“
“Very impressed by their flavorful curry dishes, and very friendly service! Would absolutely come back to try more of their menu!4.5/5 Massaman Curry -- loved the spices in this curry (very mildly spicy - especially great for those who have a lower spice tolerance), roasted peanuts and fried onions were a very nice touch as well.4.2/5 Penang Curry -- also very flavorful, 2/5 on the spicy scale, tons of beef and veggiesBarstool counter seating with quick service and attentive staff members!“
“Oh Dumplings is a casual, fast, counter service Chinese restaurant specializing in tasty morsels of dough wrapped goodness. The menu has multiple varieties of dumplings, congee, and bubble tea. There are a handful of counter stools to eat quickly and go. Perfect for a cheap, quick, and high quality meal or snack.“
“Couldn't figure out what to eat as there were loads of options. Was also looking for something quick and kid friendly. Stumbled upon this place towards the back of the market hall and decided to try it out. Prices were also reasonable so why not. It was pleasantly nice, made fresh to order. The noodle had a nice bite to it and the combo of meat and fresh veggies went quite well together. Definitely should try if you are looking for Chinese food whilst at DeKalb market.“
“I like e noodle for their HK style food. I feel like everyone's preference for soup dumplings are different. There are some days I crave a thicker skin but, e noodle makes thin skinned XLB!! It makes me feel less guilty eating so many !!! They're filled with soup and pork. I also like their stir fry beef flat noodles. Another must get is the peanut noodle and hoisin rice noodle rolls, I loveeeee this!!!“
“Food is great! Tom kha could use more vegetables. There weren't mushrooms or tomatoes in mine. Only onions. But it tasted good. Veggie rolls were fine. A bit overdone, but for the price were okay. Overall liked the food. Had it via delivery, so it might be 5 stars in person.“
“A nice local pub. The food I had before they replaced the kitchen was always on point but haven't had anything since then. The staff has always been welcoming and friendly. Drink prices and in line with the area. A good hangout spot to catch up with friends.“
“Good atmosphere and spacious location. They got the food out super fast, and it was really good. This will only make sense if you try them but the chicken wings taste like they used to be bread that made a deal with the devil to become chicken wings instead of bread but they were super good, again that probably sounds insane if you haven't tried them.Dietary restrictions: There is allergy info on the menu“
“Me & my family just ordered a delivery. I've read the reviews and i wanted to give them a try and I'm so glad I did. The food is really delicious (really fresh), the hospitality 5 star, Linda took care of me from the phone call to the delivery. And I work in the Marriott Marquis Hotel, I know quality and the whole staff is very welcoming. I ordered 12 fried wings, Lg lo mein, Shrimp & Broccoli, and shrimp egg rolls. Let me tell y'all; everything was cooked perfectly. This is my new delivery spot. And I almost forgot they are thoughtful and gave me a 2024 calendar which I thought was so sweet.“
“I am probably at 4.5 but rounding up. We really enjoyed Link Thai! My vegetarian daughter lives in Williamsburg and has been on the lookout for a top notch pad Thai with tofu and Link hit the spot. I tend to judge Thai restaurants by their Pad See Ew and I was not disappointed! My husband loved his seafood soup and it had plenty of seafood. My son decided to go with the barbecue steak. He is very picky but he devoured his entire dish. If you find yourself in Williamsburg, I would absolutely recommend Link Thai!“
“Expect the servers to be loud women from Hong Kong. That's your only warning.I ordered the wonton noodles, choy sum, and hot tea.The wontons are 30% bigger than the other places I go to, but only 4 come in each bowl. They're fresh and flavorful. The shrimp are crisp, and they snap when you bite into them. They're delicious. The portion of noodles were a bit lacking so if you're a big eater, pay the extra $2 and get more noodles. Choy sum were pretty standard boiled with oyster sauce. Wish they put extra sauce. The tea is a teabag and not a tea pot. Be aware before you get the tea.Total came out to $15.70. Not a bad price.Parking: Not recommended to drive in this area. It's a nightmare.“
“I get take out from Miss Noodle often and it *never* disappoints. My standard order is wonton in chili oil, braised beef noodle soup, and my absolute favorite egg and milk in fermented rice wine. This combo hits especially well if one is hung over. But in general I love this spot. If it was easier for me to get to I would check it out in person. But the take out is always packaged well, priced fairly and the portions are a great size.“
“My go-to spot for noodles! All the dishes are under $15 and the portions are huge. The staff are always very nice and orders come out fast.Best things to order are their specialty Fish maw and chicken noodles, sauerkraut pig intestine noodles, cold cut chicken. Their chicken is so tender and has no bones - reminds me of hainanese chicken“
“Update: I came in the next day and the manager said he processed a refund and he gave me lunch on the house. Apparently a technical glitch allowed me to order when they are closed. I appreciate them making it right. I enjoyed the food, especially the tofu and vegetables with brown rice which was served promptly and piping hot. I wasn’t as impressed by the fries but many reviewers seem to enjoy them so maybe it’s a matter of taste.Original: Ordered for pickup. Walked over with wife and kids and the restaurant is closed and there’s a church service going on inside. No one answers the phone and there’s no instant refund like Seamless. Hopefully I get my money back tomorrow.Vegetarian options: Tofu and vegetables was delicious“
“Today is the day I revisited restaurants from my Elite Events that took place in Williamsburg last year or.more. I had a craving for a Bahn Mi sandwich which I haven't had since you guessed it... last year at Lucy's Bed Stuy, Brooklyn location. That was a great event! I was pleased to spend a warm spring like day in Williamsburg especially eateries that are close to Domino Park like Lucy's. I entered and could smell the freshly toasted bread. I placed my order and remembered my 10% Yelp check in discount, perks my friend, perks! I found a seat near the window that had cushions and a nice view to people watch. My Bahn Mi was served to me table side, love that! I unwrapped my sandwich and took a good look at my delicious Bahn Mi that was about to be devoured: the chicken with the lemongrass flavor, oodles of cilantro, cucumbers.. is my sandwich seeping into your consciousness yet?...carrots on that heavenly toasted bread. Yowza indeed! I was a bit more daring today and squeezed the hot chili sauce and it gave it a spicy kick. The black iced tea served as my fire extinguisher. All in all a delicious cheat! This location is much smaller than Bed Stuy but it still packs a great punch: nice service, chill vibe ( love the picnic tables and cushions) and more importantly the food is delicious. Consistency keeps me loyal.. thus if a restaurant can still wow me with their food and service, then I'm your customer for a long time. If you read my previous review of Lucy's Vietnamese Elite Event it started like this: I love Lucy and she loves me, I'm so happy with my Lemongrass Chicken Bahn Mi. I still love Lucy and if you haven't tried the establishment all I can say is you need a good dose of Vitavitavegamin( (for all you I Love Lucy fans!)“
“Came here for a birthday dinner and absolutely loved it! Because we had a large group we did the pre-fixe menu and it comes with a tonnnn of food, all amazing! I wish I had taken more pictures but standouts include the cold sesame noodles, popcorn chicken, and lettuce wraps among others. The service was excellent and their drink selection is quite good! I wish I had tried some of the cocktails but I was also perfectly content with my glasses of orange wine. I would love to come back again and try out other items on the menu!“
