“Pho Table in Bensonhurst is a welcoming Vietnamese restaurant that offers comforting and flavorful dishes in a relaxed neighborhood setting. The space is simple and clean, with a casual atmosphere that makes it a good spot for both quick meals and relaxed dinners with friends or family.
The pho is the highlight of the menu, featuring a clear and aromatic broth that tastes rich without being overly heavy. The noodles are tender, and the toppings like sliced beef, herbs, and bean sprouts add freshness and balance to the bowl. Other Vietnamese favorites such as spring rolls and rice dishes are also well-prepared and satisfying.
Service is usually friendly and efficient, helping create an easy and comfortable dining experience. Overall, Pho Table is a reliable place to enjoy authentic Vietnamese flavors, especially if you’re craving a warm and satisfying bowl of pho in Brooklyn.“

“The food is fresh and amazing. So happy there’s a Vietnamese spot in the neighborhood. Yay for bun Bo hue (and everything else; their Vietnamese iced coffee has sustained the addiction I acquired while in Vietnam wonderfully). Cocktails very good as well“

“Their grilled pork bahn mi (extra meat, extra mayo) is still the best banh mi I’ve had in the city after 5+ years here. Doesn’t hurt too that the staff is so kind and the prices are great! Really a takeout/delivery spot - there’s not a lot of seating. You won’t be disappointed!“

“Hola la Pho is a health conscious and vegetarian’s dream! This is going to be a place I look forward to ordering from again and again.
I ordered the Pho Chay to go and it was EXCELLENT! They package everything separately with care keeping the broth separate from the noodles, veggies and noodles and toppings as well as a great selection of sauces and toppings were included.
The broth is so flavorful and the vegetables are crisp and fresh. The portions were generous. I am over the moon with how excellent the food is!
Picking up my order the restaurant was clean and service was nice and prompt. I loved it here and will be back thank you!“

“Mekong is a neighborhood favorite of mine. And with their extensive menu and very helpful staff, no matter the season I always find something that really hits the spot. In the winter, the Iron Pot Lemongrass Curry w/ Tofu is such delicious comfort food. In the warmer months, I like doing the Bun vermicelli w/ pork and Khanh Hoa Farmer's Egg Noodles as a one-two punch.
You'll also notice that Mekong has one of the coolest interiors of any restaurant in the neighborhood. This place just oozes a welcoming and comforting vibe that you will be in no hurry to leave.“

“Found this spot and was satisfied. Enjoyed their vegan bahn mi. The bread was good and it was a good size. You can definitely share it if you’re not that hungry. Had their fresh roll as well. Small cafe so seating is limited. Glad to have found this spot in an area of mostly fried chicken and pizza. Friendly staff. Vegan and vegetarian options. Just a heads up we were told the vegan pho is not entirely vegan. The soup is meat broth. Other than that, food was good and fair price.“

“If you're here for a very good sandwich I cannot recommend this place ENOUGH! They just opened and I wish to see a lot more people in the store for the quality and quantity of food you get for the price. I just had their grilled pork Banhmi sandwich and wow was I blown away by how good it was. I have yet to pick an item off the menu that was underwhelming. If you're ever passing by or doing errands, please take the time to stop by this store. I promise it will be worth your money!“

“First week it opened sat down and food was amazing. I’ve ordered a handful of times since and not as good, but not bad.
Please add option on uber eats to include sauce with Bah mi sandwiches. I have to call every time and tell them, not sure why it just doesn’t automatically come with sauce packets…“

“I've been coming here for a few years and they have yet to disappoint, knock on wood!! They are like my second family at this point. Their Vietnamese coffee is to die for and I absolutely love their recipe for the Bun Bo Hue. The quality has NOT changed at all and I am grateful and also thankful they do not skimp out on the quality of their dishes. I really do hope and pray this place stays open for a long time.“

“This is a hyper local spot for me and a super frequent lunch/ dinner. Is the pho at 5ive spice, also hyper local, perhaps a tad better? Yes. Why, then do I choose Pho Bar the majority of the time?
1) The portions at pho bar are more reasonable and leave you sated, not roly polying home. There are options to mix and match items/ portions. The lunch special is very good and a great price.
2) The vibes- everybody is having fun at pho bar. Lots of friends but also couples and solo eaters at the bar; I don’t think anybody is having a bad time. I’m not sure why that is. It might be the amount of love and effort given to the decor, which is always cute, always seasonal and homey. It’s colorful and well maintained, inviting.
3) While both spots are cash only, which can be a nuisance (though I get it), pho bar has an atm within. I’m more drawn to this spot because I don’t have to leave the restaurant to get cash.
I think that sums it up. Thank you Pho Bar- please never leave!“

“I usually get grilled pork banh mi to go. The grilled porks good but a bit dry. Love how much pickled carrot and daikon there is. Not the best banh mi I’ve had but given the lack of banh mi shops in this neighborhood I think this is great and reasonably priced around $13-$15 for one“

“This is the place I always want to go when I’m in Park Slope. The vegetarian pho is beautiful, the ambiance is warm and cozy, and it’s the perfect spot for lunch with a friend. The doors, the natural light, and the breeze make the whole space feel so inviting. I first went many years ago, and it continues to be consistently wonderful.“

“Small shop, priced well. Got the classic banhmi and a Vietnamese iced coffee. $15 before tip. The last banhmi & ca phê sữa đá I ate was in Ha Noi so I tempered my expectations but was pleasantly surprised. They seem to have made a very good effort with the resources available. The ground pork on the sandwich was heavier/greasier than what you’d expect but the essence and core flavors are captured quite well. The iced coffee misses the trademark bitterness of real Vietnamese coffee but again is quite close for the other side of the planet. I will be eating here again.“

“I ordered takeout outside of lunch/dinner hours - can't comment on the atmosphere but the food was ready quickly. I ordered the portobello mushroom salad and the veggie chicken bánh mì. The salad was a hearty size and while a couple of bites were a bit on the spicy side despite ordering the mild option, overall the bánh mì was excellent. Seemed good value for the money, just hope in the future they can offer a veg phở option rather than the current beef broth varieties.
Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options *other than* the phở. I think they just opened though so hopefully they'll offer a veg recipe at some point soon! Also like that they specified how to make something vegan and offered that customization.“

“Been wanting to try this highly rated Banh Mi shop and finally had a chance to pick up a Mr. Banh Mi and a Vietnamese iced coffee to go. Gentleman handling our order was polite and friendly. Glad to see it’s a small locally owned family business. The banh mi was fresh and well prepared overall. The bread is made in house from my understanding which is impressive. In terms of texture and taste of the bread it’s about average and I’ve had better at a couple of other Brooklyn Banh Mi spots. The veggies are finely shredded which is different than other spots however I did find it lacking a bit of zest. The minced BBQ pork filling is a take from the OG Banh Mi spot that’s been around 40 years in Chinatown. Speaking about filling/cold cuts - it’s your usual except banh mi filling just a tad less amount wise compared to others. The traditional mayo and pate was definitely on the light side or lacking. On to the iced Vietnamese coffee pretty decent taste as some decent spots. Overall I give them kudos for baking their own bread and for prep/presentation but price is a factor comparing other banh mi spots in Asian areas as $13 for a banh mi in Bensonhurst vs $8 to $9.50 in Bensonhurst/Sunset Park/Bay Ridge is a tough bite to digest unless possibly yours is significantly better/bigger than the others. But I still wish their shop to prosper.“

“We recently celebrated one of dearest friends birthday here and it was amazing. The ambiance is very nice, calm, private which allow us to catch up with our friends. The food is very authentic, and the drinks are very well crafted. Food and drinks tastes as good as it looks!. The staff's service were beyond expectations... Yangi, she was so attentive! I dropped my chopsticks, didn't expect anyone to notice but, she rush to give me a new set within a second. If you're looking for a good atmosphere, authentic vietnamese fresh food, and great service, definitely check this place out. You won't be disappointed.“

“Stumbled upon this cozy and delightful resto. Got one of the lunch specials - a Banh Mi roasted pork sandwich and mint tea. Perfect on a blustery fall day. Every yummy sandwich starts with good bread and theirs is freshly baked and slightly crusty and holds up to the meat and veggies in between. They don’t hold back either. My sandwich had a generous amount of savory and flavorful roasted pork along with the julienne carrots and other veggies. And service was kind and efficient. Could smell the deliciousness of my sandwich on my R train back to manhattan. I really enjoyed this sandwich and will definitely stop in again.“

“Pho Vietnam — Avenue U, Brooklyn
In the lively stretch of Avenue U in South Brooklyn, where bakeries, noodle shops, and dim sum parlors compete for attention, Pho Vietnam quietly holds its own as a neighborhood favorite for Vietnamese comfort food. It’s not flashy, and that’s part of its charm. The dining room is simple and relaxed—exactly the kind of place where locals drop in for a warm bowl of pho on a cold Brooklyn evening.
The menu leans classic: steaming bowls of pho with fragrant broth, crisp spring rolls, and the familiar staples of Vietnamese street-style cooking. The pho itself is dependable and deeply comforting—clear broth layered with star anise, beef, and herbs, served with a generous plate of basil, lime, and bean sprouts.
But the real standout here isn’t only the pho.
It’s the Vietnamese pork chop over rice.
The plate arrives with a beautifully grilled pork chop—caramelized at the edges, smoky from the grill, and resting over a bed of fluffy jasmine rice with fresh vegetables on the side. The meat is juicy and savory, but what elevates the dish is the house fish sauce dressing. Instead of the usual small dipping cup, the restaurant places the sauce in a bottle right on the table, letting diners pour as much as they want.
And once you start pouring, it’s hard to stop.
The sweet-savory sauce soaks into the rice, brightened with garlic and a hint of acidity, turning every bite into something addictive. It’s one of those small but thoughtful touches that makes the meal feel generous and personal—exactly the type of detail that keeps neighborhood regulars coming back.
Service is friendly and unfussy, and the pace is quick enough for a casual lunch or weeknight dinner. While Avenue U has no shortage of dining options, Pho Vietnam stands out for its honest cooking and comforting flavors.
Come for the pho, stay for the pork chop rice—and don’t hold back on that sauce.“

“Tried the traditional banh mi sandwich today. I enjoy spicy food so I requested for extra spicy. Was surprised that it actually had a good kick to it via some jalapeños and a spicy mayo type of sauce. Not ridiculously spicy but honestly spicier than I expected from food from this neighborhood (no shade)
I would’ve rated the sandwich 5 stars if it wasn’t for the pickled veggies being chopped into small chunks vs the long crunchy julienned style that I usually find and enjoy. This one was a bit mushy ear in texture due to how they cut it and perhaps prepared it. Usually the veggies are my fav part of the sandwich though 🥲
However, the service was great. The male cashier was giving family owned business from the way He was so attentive and monitoring all the tables, proactively offering extra utensils and paper plates when those dining in needed it. Nothing fancy but I really appreciate when customer service is on point.
Overall I’d come back here when I’m craving a viet sandwich but if you want a really great one you gotta go deeper into Brooklyn (try 8th ave - ba xuyen) or of course make the venture into Chinatown which is closer to downtown bklyn“

“I have been here many times over many years since I was a teen for the delicious pho, Vietnamese coffee, seafood rice dishes and most especially…. The Vietnamese spring rolls. Guys please understand and listen to me when I tell you that these are the best Vietnamese spring rolls I have ever had. I think about them all the time. These are not from a box from Costco.
These are fresh, handmade delicious crispy juicy Vietnamese spring rolls. I have tried having at other places and the flavor doesn’t even come CLOSE. I hope this place stays open my whole life so I can always have those delicious spring rolls.
The pho is also my favorite pho I had anywhere. The prices can’t be beat as well :)“

“A great little outpost on 7th Avenue...not necessarily authentic Vietnamese Banh Mi as the owners are not from Vietnam, but the sandwich with pulled chicken was quite good and the bread crusty. Nice people and staff and worth another visit when I'm in the area.“

“the Banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich) is very good and their other things are also pretty good, I heard, but it is a long wait, usually about 10 minutes if not busy and 20 minutes when there is a few people there. Also there is no dine in since the place in extremely small. So you order, wait outside, get your food, and leave. but definitely worth the wait if you have the time“
