“The “Golden Boy” was delicious, with very fresh mozzarella cheese. Even the small sandwich is quite filling—you could probably feed two people with it! The restaurant is cash-only, but they do have an ATM inside, which is convenient. Service was pretty quick, and the staff were friendly and polite. Definitely worth trying!“

“Little Honey has fabulous food, a fabulous clean and bright vibe, and incredibly courteous and qualified staff. On two separate occasions, they not only accommodated our large family for brunch, they also cheerfully rearranged tables to fit our group plus the stroller for our daughter's infant daughter. “I read the service loan not because the service staff was an issue, but I am sick and tired of being penalized for using cash. I didn’t realize I went to the counter. I made my order selected everything and then I was told if I need to pay cash. I need to go to a kiosk. Annoying because now I have to go through all these menus to figure out what I just ordered feed cash into machine wait for that to come out. Totally unnecessary step and unfortunately something that would make me not want to stop here because they added a layer of complexity. It wasn’t necessary. Now I’m sure by the tone of my review that you could probably tell how old I am but that’s fine by me. I like walking into an establishment explaining what I want paying cash and walking out. It’s that simple but yet this isn’t. That being said, the food is fabulous so if the kiosk doesn’t bother you and you never pay cash then so be it.“

“Classic Brooklyn joint serving one of the best roast beef sandwiches in town! But I would have to say the western burger also packs a solid punch. You can’t go wrong with any of the items here honestly. But our go to’s are always the roast beef sandwich, western beef burger, crown fritters, chicken wings, and orangeade drink! You also have the option to put cheese on anything! If you have a young one, ask one of the cashiers for a free ballon. If happens to be your birthday, you get to spin the giant wheel for a chance to win $5-$20 prize for next time use. Also, if you spend more than $45 per order, you can get a free pizza. The inside dining area seems like it’s still stuck in the 1990s, but I’m fine with that!“

“Finally made it .. after a few weeks trying to go when it wasn't crowded ( yes it does get crowded) .. pickup a Tori katsu Sando .. which was amazing,the bread was soft , Tori katsu was moist and the sauce simply amazing.. now I would have given a 5 stars if they would have sprinkle dashi furikake ( which they did offer it to ) on the ribbon fried potato 😢 .. non the less I will return for that tamago Sando .“

“This is ✨THE BEST✨ bagel sandwich I’ve ever had!!! I cannot emphasize enough what a picky, particular person I am, especially when it comes to food. Prior to finding Shelsky’s, I had basically given up ordering lox bagels because either the quality of salmon wasn’t up to par or the ratio of ingredients was off (WAY too much cream cheese, not enough salmon, etc.). I am a small woman, and I find that most bagel sandwiches are also way too huge to comfortably fit in my mouth lol and/or everything slips out and becomes annoying and messy to eat.

As soon as I tried a lox bagel from Shelsky’s, I new this would be the only place I could ever order one from again 🥲 Their bagels are slightly smaller than the average giant NY/NJ ones in a way that I find makes it easier to eat, perfectly chewy but also still crisp enough on the outside. Their smoked salmon is truly the best I’ve ever tasted and is as smooth as butter. The ratio of cream cheese to salmon to has been mastered, and the red onion is sliced thin enough to make Paulie from Goodfellas proud. It’s the attention to these small details that truly creates the ideal sandwich. My only wish is that they had a location in NJ where I live! As a central Jersey resident, I also appreciate them using the proper name of porkroll for their breakfast sandwich 😊

PS the manager Ethan runs a tight ship (compliment)! He is competent, charismatic, and clearly cares about what he does. I think that makes a huge difference from the top down in a food establishment. I have enjoyed chatting with him ☺“

“Great sandwich spot! They had a whole section of the menu that was tomato forward for tomato season. I got the BLT, uma (caprese on a roll, essentially), and turkey club. Everything was great!! Bread was delicious. The tomato sandwiches were awesome, with thick slices of tomato. The turkey club was very standard with shredded lettuce and not as much tomato as the others but it was for a child so it was perfect for him. Service was very nice and quick!“

The menu is pretty large and can be a little overwhelming but they have great recommendations and you really can’t go wrong! I like to get the smokehouse turkey sandwich! This is an iconic Jewel that for me was a foodie destination of a lifetime. Maybe things have changed recently, we went a few years ago but do you really finish one of those sandwiches?“
