“I don't live in the neighborhood but every so often one of my regular clients hits me up and BKLYN Blend happened to be nearby so I am very glad I stopped in.Client facing staff is beyond professional and affable. The young woman at the counter today deftly handled an unfortunate situation where a man was being less the charitable and kind to his girlfriend. The young man working the smoothie bar was even asked by who appeared to be a regular what the 'usual' fruit he puts in her smoothie was and the chef cooly came out to ensure service was running smoothly. Looking around I was thinking everyone employed here seemed not only happy to be at work, but also overqualified. That's a sign of a great team and in turn a great boss.The place is very well kept, clean and welcoming with lots of plants, comfortable seating and a decent bar area. You can tell the owners care about aesthetics and their patron's comfort. It's in a great corner spot and both gets a lot of light but provides shade in certain parts of the cafe.If you go, do yourself a favor and try the Brooklyn Ru-blend and the Kyoto Cherry Rose Tea with a splash of milk. The sandwich came out warm, crunchy and not as oily as most Ruben's do, with a satisfying chew and a fragrant hint of spices, likely from the turmeric bread. The tea was smooth, silky and surprisingly sweet, though that could have been the lactose, and was very satisfying. Some of the reviews mentioned the wait time and would say that good things are worth waiting for.My only regret is I cannot come back here as often as I'd like to try the rest of the delicious items on the menu. I've got my eyes on that Salmon pattie and the Brownsville NutBKLYN Blend is a great example of when passion meets entrepreneurship and is exactly the kind of business that will get passed down for many generations.”

“They have a lot of different bowls and wraps. I ordered the chicken pesto bowl with quinoa (you can also create your own). It reminds me of Sweet green, but the portion was huge! It's enough for 2 people. They have a variety of smoothies too. I ordered the tutti fruitti smoothie which has strawberry, mango, pineapple, and orange juice. It was quite tasty and filling.”

Plus they've got a selection of yummy drinks (if you get a fruity tea add the strawberry bone trust me!!) and usually feature some kind of deal too which is fun.Better yet their service is great. I ordered sushi and tea once but only tea arrived (oops), but when the restaurant caught wind of it they gave me a generous gift card for my next meal on top of what Uber gave me AND when I placed my next order they called me and were so sweet AND offered to throw in a dessert on top. ? My favorite is the Tropical Blast, but I switch out the bananas for raspberries or strawberries. I love that they let you customize the smoothies to your liking. They also have a great selection of Mexican snacks and candies that you probably wouldn't find at your local Brooklyn convenience or grocery store. With the service and quality of food that they serve, you can tell how much they care about serving the community down here.”

I had the Canarsie Cranberry smoothie I believe and it was one of the best smoothies I ever had in my life!! The ingredient say that they use agave and honey as a sweetener which was pleasing but it was so sweet that I'm. not sure if they used something more than that. But it was still a 10/10 honestly!! I also had the Navy Yard Tuna Steak Sandwich and it was honestly a 5/10. Flavorful and the sauces were very good but the tuna was kinda dry. Prices feel a little steep but I would definitely return here again!”

Been here way too many times but I'll comment on the Philly cheesesteak and the double stack burger. Both were really good although would probably put the cheese steak above the burger w/o question. The burger is $9 for a double and although it's a premade patty it's decent for a deli burger. There breakfast sandwiches are money. Usually get the BLT. No pork is served so the bacon is actually beef bacon which is an absolute star. I'd eat that on its own. I actually think that is the secret to their breakfast sandwiches over traditional bacon. The deli sells high quality and high end products. Obviously will go again.”
