“This place is amazing! I’ve been here many times with my family and friend and honestly, I had a blast every time I came here! The fee to play is very affordable and their wide selection of games can never leave me feeling bored! Their boba tea is really good and really cute!! My friend and I came here and I can’t help but die of laughter being here! The atmosphere is very warm and nice and the interior design is just so cute! Would come again and play some more!“
“The waffle was freshly baked, loved the cinnamon take on the batter too. The pistachio gelato was delicious, very natural and not overly sugary. Such an unexpected find in that neighborhood. Definitely worth to check it out!Parking: Parking will be challenging but there are meters available.“
“I LOVE Lady Moo Moo, and it's such a great addition to the Bed-Stuy neighborhood. Their tropical flavors especially were SUCH a gamechanger in the killer heat this summer. I really enjoyed their passionfruit and coconut offerings, but there wasn't a single person upset about any of the flavors they were slinging by the scoop. They have the best Lady Moo Moo mural and multi-colored decor surrounding the hole-in-the-wall shop, and they even had a bowl for thirsty doggos. This establishment goes to show that it's always going to be quality over quantity. The staff was lovely, efficient, and explanatory. In terms of parking, it's New York: it's easier to bike or walk.“
“Seeking last minute ice cream for a toddlers birthday party, I yelped the top places in Brooklyn and dove into the reviews. Arriving at the ice cream parlor I was greeted with smiles and a chill of excitement for the samples... unfortunately you only get three samples so I had to fine tune my decision. I locked in the Beet Ginger, the vegan version, and the Soursop (google it). The beet was subtle and the ginger surprisingly sweet, it was a great unexpected medley of flavor; obviously I left with a pint. The other choice was the Strawberry, the safe but decadent choice for a kids party... who doesn't like strawberries right. The staff were informative, knowledgeable, and were split in the decision of me wearing crocks in March . Service: 5/5 Options/Variety: 5/5 Flavor: 5/5 Price: 5/5 Location: 5/5 Well worth the trip from Newark.“
“Brix Haus is a great addition to this corner of Williamsburg. I stopped in for a latte and scoop of ice cream -- both were fantastic. The salad and sandwich options looked great too. The staff were friendly and the space was welcoming. I would recommend this spot to anyone in the neighborhood.“
“This is my families favorite bah mi place in Brooklyn (and we have tried a bunch)! We get the chicken bah mi. All the ingredients are fresh and perfectly seasoned, each bite is so flavorful! The bread is the right balance of crunchy and soft too, which is something I am very picky about. lmpressively, I believe they make their own pate and mayo - which is so delicious!!I also LOVE their andes mint hot chocolate!!Couldn't recommend the place enough - are excited to try more things on the menu!“
“The food here was AMAZING! And the atmosphere is great. Overall a wonderful place for a bite to eat! We had the Hawaiian torta and the birria burrito and both were absolutely amazing and super filling!!! Plus they had a bunch of Mexican snacks/drinks and it looks like they also have Mexican ice cream. I’m definitely coming back !“
“As an offshoot/sequel to the redoubtable Ample Hills, it should be no surprise that the ice cream is superb: thick, rich, inventive, creamy, and perhaps my favorite in New York’s five mighty boroughs. I always go ooey gooey butter cake or peppermint pattie (or both), but there are delights to suit every taste. (Note well: I was so excited about the ice cream that I forgot to take a photo until after a few bites. A cone offers more than pictured here.)“
“Came after a dinner date. We were stuffed so We just ordered a double scoop sundae (cherry chocolate chip ice cream) and a chocolate chip cookie to share. The sundae was quite good. The cherry chocolate chip ice cream was nice and enjoyable. Had a good flavor with nice huge chunks of chocolate chip. A good amount of whipped cream on top. Even though we ordered a double scoop, I thought it was quite small. The chocolate chip cookie was warm and gooey. It was good and satisfying without being too heavy.“
“The staff are always welcoming, willing to provide tastes and informing of new flavors as soon as you walk in unless it is uber busy. The variety in flavors is good enough, and the tastes are awesome. Prices are, of course, higher than your chains, but the uality and vegan options are worth the cost. On warm Sunday afternoon, sitting on the bench outside with your favorite vegan icee in Bed Stizzy is happiness.“
“Wow! I'm so happy I found this place. It is such a cute and comfortable atmosphere. The guy that helped me was very nice. Their selection is wonderful (I went in around 6 or 7 on a Sunday and they had so much goodies left). I got a few items to take to hang out with friends and there wasn't a crumb left after we tried everything. Not a single disappointing thing in the box. The brown butter and Chai cookies really blew my mind. Prices are great considering the excellent quality of everything and the packaging they put they put the items in. Can't wait to go back!“
“Definitely worth trying if you are familiar/curious about desi flavours in ice cream! We sampled a bunch of flavours and I found some of the descriptions spot on, and some of them to be a little generous. I also like that the flavours they highlight are more bougie/elevated--you won't find your conventional "Parle g" and "gulab jamun" that you can find at any Desi creamery these days.“
“Very good ice cream with very good prices ($6 for 2 scoops), generous portions, decent number of classical options (10 with 3 vegan). They allow sampling and also have soft serve, sundaes, shakes, egg cream, brownies etc.Our favorite was the chocolate lovers (chocolate ice cream with brownies and fudge) which was exceptional with great texture and richness. They also have some limited space inside.“
“Sweet Dynasty in Sunset Park of Brooklyn is where I get all my birthday cakes since I first found them. This time they worked out a master plan with me to bring an ice cream cake to my wedding banquet. Everyone was hesitant at first about it thinking it was a typical sponge cake, but after the first bite, all that was left was the plate. They enjoyed it so much, some even reached out to ask where I got it. Don’t miss out!“
“Get their vegan banana bread and pair it with their Island Coconut ice cream - heaven on earth! I’m not even remotely vegan. Seems they have wide variety of seasonal flavors, so I tried this combo a few months back but forgot to post about it. Returned again today for a pint to go, sorrel rum is one of my favorites here but I decided to try the black cake flavor just because I picked up a slice of black cake from Royal Bakery down the street… ended up pairing very nicely!! Was pleasantly surprised by the generous chunks of black cake in the ice cream… arguably as good or better than Royal Bakery (our little secret!). Never tried a flavor I didn’t like, and they’ll kindly let you try a few before deciding, and give good personalized recommendations. Small counter with a bench and bistro table outside to enjoy on a nice day. Please support these lovely people on Nostrand Ave.“
“You'll see it, this place was populated even on a weeknight. There isn't an inside, so you'll most likely expect a line.I had trouble choosing because most of the flavors all sounded chocolatey, too sweet, or if they weren't, they were sorbet. Luckily, the worker was patient and offered suggestions. I picked the Kid size Hazelnut one, which she said was their post popular, on a Cone ($6). The ice cream tasted like a creamier Ferrero Rocher, ice cream version. I felt like a kid eating chocolate again. The Kid size was also enough after a filling dinner. This was a solid creamy gelato, I'd recommend if you're in the area and in the mood for good dessert.“
“We decided to grab some dessert after eating some sushi next door. There’s a lot of flavors to choose from here from Cookie Monster to Mango Colada to Ube Pandan Coconut. I decided to go with strawberry shortcake and Thai tea while my bf went with ube pandan coconut and mango colada. We personally have never tried pandan before but it was pretty good. Our server was also really nice and helpful and allowed us to sample different flavors. We didn’t get the donut ice cream sandwich but maybe we will next time! Highly recommend this spot if you’re craving something sweet! 10/10 would come back again! (I also love how the spoons chance colors based on temperature!)“
“was lured into @tipsyscoop by the pretty boozy cocktail photos, but ended up with the flight because I couldn't decide...what a great idea! I ended up choosing the Clausmopolitan, chocolate-mint martini, mango margarita, vanilla bourbon. I don't usually go for the cosmos but that turned out to be my favorite flavor! The vanilla ice cream was the least boozy but still a great dessert! Anyone prderjng thr sundaes can keep the glass and they have pints ready for takeaway as well!“
“For sure a place for delicious ice cream! Creamy, rich and thick. Flavors with chocolate chip was great. My personal favorite: ?Coconut Almond Chip. But I had gram crackers chip and dulce de leche?Dietary restrictions: Vegan ice cream flavors“
“I went yesterday with my 2 grandchildren. . Marie was sooooooo kind, related to the kids, made us feel so comfortable even with the stroller taking up room. The ice cream was amazing! Best hot fudge I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back:)“
“One Of my go to spots since I was a kid! Grapenut is my absolute fave!!!!! It's always packed with people but that's a good thing, the ice cream is always yummy!!! The vibe is like any ice cream shop you would find in the heart of Flatbush!“
“I was a little hesitant on trying raw desserts but I absolutely loved them! I am gluten free and alsosugar free (processed sugar/added sugar). I love that the desserts are made with natural sugar from plants and didn’t taste overly sweet. I’ll definitely be coming here again.“
“You get to look at the Brooklyn Bridge with a waterfront view and enjoy delicious ice cream when you come here. Got the banana split, with chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla chocolate chunk ice cream topped with hot fudge. Hard to pick a favorite flavor, might as well get experimental here. Highly doubt you’ll go wrong with whatever you order. The service was incredibly helpful in deciding my flavors, as someone who can be indecisive.Kid-friendliness: Hard to imagine a kid not loving this place! It’s very family friendly“
“Delicious ice cream! The matcha green tea and strawberry mango in a tayaki cone are the best. Indoor seating is limited. Usually a line of people outside but it goes pretty quickly. This location doesn't serve the souffle pancakes anymore, but the ice cream is well worth it.“
“The staff are very friendly. The chocolate cookies are famous, so I went to Dumbogan Kim and they were really rich and delicious. The chocolate cookies were thin and chewy. It is more luxurious compared to Starbucks. I've had Starbucks cookies before, so there was a lot of comparison.More than anything!!! This is a great hot chocolate restaurant. I didn't know and just ordered one, but it tasted like melted chocolate. I think it will be remembered as the best hot chocolate in my life. Be sure to try it!“
“I won't discuss the behind the scened politics and ownership issues that have been going on for years here. I will simply say this has consistently been my absolutely favorite local ice cream company since moving to Brooklyn 5+ years ago. Well thought out flavors never dissapoint. Currently I'm gorging on a pint of brown sugar pecan pie- scrumptious!“
“A small cafe providing coffee and boba to the surrounding neighborhood. Ample space to sit inside if you choose to. Ordered a jasmine milk tea with boba. Jasmine was a bit more subtle than I would've liked, but the small bit of fragrance to it was nice. The boba was chewy and sweetened so having the drink less sweet was perfect. A friendly neighborhood spot on par with chain milk tea places.“
“Very great atmosphere. Love the ice cream. My favorite is the Cinnamon Toast Crunch ice cream with the Nilla wafers on top! Johnny is a very nice guy, a real gentleman. He goes above and beyond to ensure a wonderful experience. This is my go too when I have a sweet tooth. Will definitely be back and look forward to another memorable visit. ♥️ PS. Would have took a photo of my ice cream but I’ve already eaten it within a few minutes ?“
“An excellent store. They KNOW how to retail properly. Even when there is only one person ahead of you on line and the boss is sitting down in back, he gets up to serve. No one waits long here. Store is always very clean. Staff is always very personable and friendly. They even managed to do Covid right, with a line outside. I love a place where you are treated as if you are valued.Vegetarian options: I guess. It’s ice cream.Dietary restrictions: Kinda toughParking: It’s worth the search.Kid-friendliness: Very friendlyWheelchair accessibility: The store is accessible“
“Great place for authentic Italian gelato. This place goes straight in the top 5 gelato places in the city, period.Quality is still consistent since the opening. One of my go to combos is pistachio (pistakkio) and Crema Antica.Try stracciatella of you don't know what it is.They have a seating area serving cups, a must from Italy.“
“Food was good; we were 8 women, I ordered a fresh salad but it was so expensive (I ordered a regular container for 1 person-which included lettuce, 2 different colored peppers, olives, tomatoes and a few other items added- it was very expensive....“
“Best neighborhood café. Drinks are tasty, good food options, fair prices. Warm ambiance inside, simple but pleasant decor. Non-pretentious. I enjoy spending time here, staff are pleasant and always prepare my order with care.Kid-friendliness: Often many children here after school hours on weekdays“
“My favorite place. I come here when I’m happy, when I’m sad, when I’m anxious and when I want to celebrate. I love it. My favorite crepe is the Tokyo Sakura and what I like the most is the Green Hulk ice cream. All the staff is friendly, and its a cozy place“
“I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!. it's a nice place outside u can sit and eat ur ICE-CREAM/SHAKE. And I love that they have banana icecream like I always be craving banana ice cream and I always go there but it's 1000 times better when u ask them u make it into a shake "banana shake" GENIUS other than that the workers are nice. I wish every carvel had banana icecream. ❤️❤️“
“Been looking everywhere for some Turkish baklavas after trying them for the first time in Berlin, really glad to have finally found some here in Brooklyn where most other baklava joints I’ve tried carry the Syrian/non-Turkish kind.I tried a few samples before proceeding to buy 2 pounds of the pistachio baklava ($14/lb)— Reema was very friendly and answered all my questions attentively. Not to mention she added on a couple of free samples ?.I think Antepli has just become my Baklava place in the city ??.“
“Dolce Brooklyn was on my list of gelato experiences on our visit to NYC. And I did travel over 2,500 miles just to order one simple scoop. I had great expectations to taste a most delicious gelato. It was indeed very good. The quantity however, felt like it was lacking for the price. Many artisanal gelato establishments I’ve frequented offer a more generous amount in a cup. Basically, I finished my order within nine bites. Apart from that, the owner’s daughter and her friend were very sweet, helpful, and kind. I am confident that it will just keep getting better and better.“
“Always love how refreshing the bowls are! Very filling while also not feeling too heavy, and everything tastes freshly made. I work nearby so it was very important that the order was ready on time, and it was a pleasant and swift pickup. Thanks!“
“Saw the store while driving down Troy and decided to stop in. The owner allowed me to try a bunch of flavors while they were all delicious the caramel scotch infused vanilla ice cream was particularly delightful. Furthermore the owner was a very nice guy who truly loves what he does, is creative and he’s creating a new idea in the kosher ice cream business. I definitely plan on returning to try other stuff and will recommend to my friends!!“
“If you want to know how good this store is, just visit the one on 5th & 69th and you'll see the difference, the 69th street are thieves literally (they charge $20 for an Ice Cream Sandwich pack).I love this branch, all the staff are really nice and friendly, they make you wanting to go back to their store.Thank you for being decent human beings.“
“The crepes were so delicious. Passed by this place a few times but decided to skip but was looking for something sweet this time. I like how you can create your own crepe and it allows you to put so much toppings on it. The crepe is a little pricey but it was pretty big. Although it was a bit of a wait for them to make it but that only means it’s super fresh and it’s not just something that has been sitting around. Definitely craving for another one right now.“
“Culture is incredible! It’s my new go-to dessert spot. The yogurt is soooo flavorful and high quality. Best part is it’s diabetic friendly, they always have a no sugar added option for my husband to get. The options always rotate to keep things fresh. Highly recommend?Dietary restrictions: Diabetic friendly, no sugar added“
“Wow, I'm a tough ice cream critic and have to say this is the spot. They have such unique flavors and now I'm hooked. I got the carrot cake butter cream and my boyfriend got the chocolate fried cheesecake and no complaints here from either of us. We will be back for sure!“
“This is such a solid hole in the wall! If you're walking around in the area and you want a sweet treat make sure to visit their window! The service is so lovely, they really make you feel like a kid again. The ice cream itself is pretty standard, they have fun flavors which is the best part. It's nothing high end or gourmet but I don't really think that's necessary for a spot like this. It does the trick and is a tasty sweet treat!“
“I am so glad I stopped in! I had a Scoop of Mud Pie on a delightful Fruity Pebbles cone. Everyone I passed on Fulton St was in love with me and this cone! So good, should have gotten two scoops, but the cone was a nice touch to my cravings. Will be back...?“
“LOVE the yogurt drinks, order twice back to back in a few days. Really love the chewiness of the purple rice with the thick yogurt.I tried the Yomie purple rice yogurt and lychee yogurt (added purple rice). Both are great, the lychee flavor is subtle and not overpowering/too sweet, but it is slightly less thick than original yogurt.Highly recommended. Will have to other flavors and the oat tougher as well.“
“Total mainstay in the neighborhood. Can't walk past without my sons begging for a visit. Phenomenal selection of international treats, as well as old classic sweets (think Sugar Daddies and Salt Taffy).Complete local family shop. Can sometimes catch the owner's young kids stocking the shelves, which is adorable.“
“Fruitti Yummi frozen yogurt is sooo good. There aren’t a large variety of fro-yo flavors, but they have all the solid ones here, and a large array of toppings. It is a self-serve location (and they’re covid conscious), providing you with gloves and hand sanitizer to use before serving yourself. I liked that, it made you feel as though the establishment cares about keeping covid at bay.The place is squeaky clean by the way. Everything is tidy, the machines are clean (been to some spots with dirty ones), and the area for toppings was so perfectly organized that me and my boyfriend barely wanted to touch it lol. There was one young lady at the register over-seeing everything, who gave us a friendly greeting when we came in, so that was nice.Other than that there’s not too much to say about a frozen yogurt spot, but this is definitely one of the better locations. You can tell the difference in the quality of flavor, so I highly recommend stopping by.“
“Love this location!! It opened about a year ago new into my neighborhood and it’s changed my life!! The cinnabon is always fresh and the ice cream is always super sweet and tasty!! The atmosphere is also very welcoming and warm as well as an awesome staff who always do their best to help you out when you need it! They also make custom cakes and print photos onto them and they always look great!! I recently purchased a cake for my both my brother and sister’s birthdays and they did an amazing job!! I definitely recommend this location if you happen to be in the area or are just craving something sweet to eat!!Dietary restrictions: Kosher and Halal so everyone can enjoy!“
“Truly this is one of my favorite spots in Sunset Park. I usually like to try something new each time I go to a restaurant, but I got the burrito with Birria and now this is my weekly splurge. Staff is always friendly, place is clean, leans into the millennial pink aesthetic with games for groups and a beach adjacent theme. But it’s all about the food and I’m sold. ?“
“such a cute family owned thai restaurant!! really tasty curry, dessert menu goes insane, and they make the ice cream themselves like omg! thai tea nd coffee were sweet and delicious too, so happy about that. swing by for a pint or to catch their $14 lunch special!!“
