This was our first time eating Ital food and it was nothing short of heavenly. It’s a cute tiny shop with vegan ice cream and vegan savory ital food. A few small tables outside. You get a bang for your buck here! If we lived here we would come every single week.
In celebration of National Ice Cream Day, I am writing about Scoops Ice Cream Parlor which is all about its dairy-free ice cream AND its vegan Caribbean-style comfort food.If it’s available, get the calaloo, my favorite. Get it on a bed of rice and peas or on black rice, with a side of black-eyed peas or lentils. When the calaloo is not available, I’ve gotten the stewed fish steak. Great Vegan ice cream & vegan lasagna! Staff does not always have a pleasant disposition. Call before you go, they have a tendency to randomly close at times, with no advanced notice.
