“Stopped by on a lazy Sunday afternoon and ended up enjoying one of the most comforting meals I’ve had in a while. The tortilla soup completely stole the show — rich, flavorful, perfectly thick, and packed with crispy blue corn tortilla pieces in every bite. Honestly wished they had a bigger bowl because it disappeared fast.

Tried the bean & epazote tetelas on the side and they paired so well with the soup. Also shared the black bean avocado tlayudita and chilaquiles — both fresh, satisfying, and full of flavor. The chilaquiles do get a bit pricey once you add the extras, but the taste made it worth it for us.

Came around 2 PM on a Sunday and still found outdoor seating easily, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and unhurried. Great food, warm atmosphere, and one of those places you leave already thinking about coming back to.“

“Miss Barbs is a Crown Heights establishment of the highest degree.

Their coffee and pastries are my favorites in the area, and it's a great space to hang out or work.

All the staff is super friendly and the owners are just the best.

My favorite thing about Miss Barbs is how integrated they are with the community. They run events all the time, and they're all super fun, like the spelling bee or the trash pick-up days or the little markets.

They've also got great vibes at night and it's an awesome place to get a glass of wine or two. Karaoke is my favorite thing ever and sometimes they've got a karaoke night. You can check their insta for the calendar of events.

For coffee, I got a spanish latte. It's good! The ferrero rocher latte visits me in my dreams. I don't have enough of a sweet tooth to order it, even when I crave it!“

“After researching where to find great pancakes, Colina Cuervo kept coming up, and they absolutely did not disappoint. The pancakes were fluffy, delicious, and honestly some of the best I've had. Every bite was wonderful. They came with an amazing dulce de leche sauce and syrup that made them even more irresistible.
Alex, who took my order, was incredibly kind and greeted me with a beautiful smile. The entire atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, and I truly believe the warmth of a place says a lot about the food being served. Everything felt made with care.

“Fusion Korean/Japanese/American deli with fresh food, bubble tea, dry goods, and seating. Best spot in the neighborhood for riceballs! Prices are reasonable, portions are generous, and the owners are kind and friendly people. I bring out-of-town friends here and everytime they come back to the city they ask if we can go to the riceball place again! I always recommend the buttermilk chicken riceball. The chicken teriyaki over rice is also a great lunch deal.“

Great place to read / work / write on weekdays (no laptops on weekends). They are truly a community hub, with rotating art exhibits and phenomenal programming / events. “I love dilly dally!!! The name really embodies the experience: you don't want to leave. I have been many times, and the food is always high quality and delicious. The aesthetic and the staff make you feel at home there. I recently spent many hours there working during the day. There was wifi and many outlets available. I got the breakfast burrito, which was incredible, and sustained me to do hours of work. If you haven't been, you are missing out!“

All the staff were super friendly snd nice, recommended some sightseeing here in Brooklyn (my wife and I were visiting). Cug popped by, super chill dude, had a small convo. This place has such a great vibe—cozy, relaxed, and always welcoming. The baristas and staff are super friendly, and even the other customers make it feel like a little community. I stop by most mornings for my espresso, and it never disappoints. There are a bunch of cafés nearby, but the coffee here really stands out. Easily one of the best in the area!“

“Love this place it’s so convenient, but the baristas are not consistent! Idol is the best at making coffee when he is there and definitely worth stopping by, but the other baristas tend to make some really bitter and burnt drinks so keep an eye out!“
