“Huge selection of board games. Catan, Wingspan, Coup, Heat, Betrayal, Exploding Kittens to name a few of my favorites that I saw. Shout out to Aron for suggesting some new stuff and chatting with me about pokemon he knows his stuff, super friendly! Also alot of tgc being magic and Pokemon alot of the new sets too. Good vibes and energy here.“

“Stopped by on a lazy Sunday afternoon and ended up enjoying one of the most comforting meals I’ve had in a while. The tortilla soup completely stole the show — rich, flavorful, perfectly thick, and packed with crispy blue corn tortilla pieces in every bite. Honestly wished they had a bigger bowl because it disappeared fast.

Tried the bean & epazote tetelas on the side and they paired so well with the soup. Also shared the black bean avocado tlayudita and chilaquiles — both fresh, satisfying, and full of flavor. The chilaquiles do get a bit pricey once you add the extras, but the taste made it worth it for us.

Came around 2 PM on a Sunday and still found outdoor seating easily, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and unhurried. Great food, warm atmosphere, and one of those places you leave already thinking about coming back to.“

“Nice environment, relaxing music, love the chicken sandwich and lamb Haneeth sandwich waffle fries are delicious I’m hooked on brown sugar cardemon iced coffee and service is always with a Smile no indoor seating yet but they do have limited outdoor seating a must try other foods and beverages available 😃“

“Wow. I have to say that I found this place on a whim working around the area, and this place is a gem! Want to thank my girl, Naya, for being sweet for getting my food done near closing. Plus major compliments to the Chef because my chickgrilla sandwich was everything I imagined it to be—coming from someone who doesn’t prefer grilled chicken on her sandwiches, the chickgrilla was very flavorful and moist (not soggy tho!!!). The goat cheese was a perfect compliment and not overpowering at all. I literally ate my sandwich on the commute back home 😂 Looking forward to coming back and trying the others~ yummy 🥪“

“Nice spot in the neighborhood, the sushi burrito is definitely worth the price. As I got the shrimp tempura and it filled me with just one half of the burrito and had the other half remaining. The passion fruit tea with lychee jelly was great choice.

They also have quite a few things you can purchase plus an arcade machine towards the back by the seating.“

“I am obsessed with Café Miguel's café de olla. I have been chasing the taste of that Mexican coffee since first trying it in Mexico City years ago, and theirs is incredible. The brunch line can be long, but it's worth it; the chilaquiles are delicious. I have no idea how they make so many different things so fast in that tiny, open air kitchen.“

“Absolutely incredible space. Came for Nickelodeon night and it was amazing to watch the entire bar recite lines, sing intro songs, and laugh together. Never seen a crowd come together so seamlessly on a regular Wednesday night. Brandon & Shay do such a good job of bringing warmth and make the space welcoming from the moment you step in. “Padmores is hands down my favorite coffee shop in the neighborhood. The staff are genuinely some of the nicest people you’ll meet. Not fake nice — real, warm, remember-your-order type of nice. They’re attentive without hovering, and every drink is made fresh from scratch and always hits. The menu is just right — no fluff, just solid options.

I love the different seating setups too — cozy bench vibes, round tables for catching up, long shared tables when I need to cowork. There’s always a spot that fits my mood.

And the music? That’s my favorite part. As a Bed-Stuy native, it’s easy to feel out of place in a neighborhood you grew up in because of how much gentrification has changed things. But Padmores blends old and new Brooklyn so well. On certain days they’re playing real throwback Hip-Hop, R&B, and Soul — the classics. It feels familiar. It feels like home. I really hope they never lose that vibe. There are plenty of cafés around here, but I’ll choose Padmores every time.“

There was only a raised counter with no barstools and a bench with no table, so it’s not a place to study or get work done, but it’s an excellent spot to stop and chat with friends, or take a quiet moment for yourself. “We came to ACRE on a Saturday late afternoon. It was around 3 pm, and the restaurant was still bustling with a hefty lunch crowd. Upon entering the storefront, you are greeted by a bunch of home good offerings, like bowls and chopstick holders. There’s a cashier at the front taking orders. After placing an order, we grabbed our hojicha latte and yuzu poundcake from the front and then waited at the back for a table to open up. It took less than 10 minutes for a two-top to be available, but if you have a bigger party, it will probably take you longer than 10 minutes to grab a table. We ordered the pork katsu bento box and egg salad sandwich to share between two of us. The pork katsu was juicy and the sauce on top had just the right amount of tang! The purple rice was cooked perfectly, and the brussel sprouts were well-seasoned. The bun of the egg salad sandwich was super fluffy and buttery, and the egg salad was creamy and tasted amazing! The atmosphere is bustling and the staff are super kind. I would love to return sometime and try all the offerings on the menu.“

“Small lovely cafe in Brooklyn. Went there for brunch. Service was really good. Food had fresh ingredients and was very well prepared. Coffee was OK though they offered a nice hibiscus drink. The only issue is there are only few tables and it’s not very convenient for 4 person party like us. Still would go there again“

“Love this warm comfortable corner to relax with family or friends, there's always something good on the menu although I feel they could expand on the menu adding non sourdough items or croutons that are not bread that needs washing for. Some good soups would be a good idea or small comfort dishes. On the whole this is a great place any time of the day. Service is next level and home delivery is above and beyond. My latte arrived hot even though I live other end of store.“

“I stopped in this cute halal cafe for a quick beverage and was pleasantly surprised to see such an interesting and extensive menu they have for both food and drink and everything is reasonably priced. I got the pistachio iced latte and it was really good.

They have a lot of space indoors for dining, but the tables are small. The staff is kind and friendly and the establishment is clean. I really liked the vibe and will definitely stop by again in the future.“

The pancakes were delicious but would suggest having a non pork side options. Loved the tacos, very flavourful and filling. I hadn’t dined in here before and we were very pleased.“
