We decided to go during the week Prima collaborated with L’Attache Paris and couldn’t have been happier. The dishes were perfect from presentation to flavor and portion. “The food is incredible and service is top-notch! The staff is all friendly and patient—they operate like a family having a good time while also managing everything efficiently and smoothly as a team. I specifically have to give Miss Audrey her flowers. She was so very attentive and kind to my uncle, who needed assistance with ordering. The chicken was tender and flavorful, and the sides (crispy potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and green bean tomato salad) tasted better than some of the more upscale spots in NYC. Our jaws dropped when we tried the crullers, and we ended up coming back the next morning for breakfast. The coffee is fantastic too, and the vibe of the establishment is both cozy and clean. The line often goes out the door (although it does move quickly). The crullers are a must-try!“

The ginger latte had the right amount of sweetness. The ginger flavour was good and it wasn’t the strong kind that would stick to your throat for a while.

“A nice and inexpensive cafe to go grab coffee. I'm not a coffee fan, I expected that there would be fresh juices or lemonades, but unfortunately there is only watermelon fresh lemonade, which is not so much to my taste, but there is a small refrigerator where few types of bottled lemonades and energy drinks, which pleased me.“

“Delicious drinks and good food. I tried their o captain my captain cocktail which was very well balanced with a slight kick and the golden cocktail which was also very good on the sweeter side. The burrata small plate is good as well as the white bean dip and eggplant Parm. There are cozy outdoor seats as well. Servers are friendly.“

Good Atmosphere, if there was a Michelin star for Matcha they would received it (my girlfriend disagrees due to the graininess of the Matcha but that is what Matcha is supposed to be like, she’s a sweet girl so she likes the sweet stuff). “This is me and my girlfriend's favorite restaurant/cafe in Brooklyn. Love the food, staff and atmosphere. The lattes are great, and there are at least 4 dishes on the menu I love. Also, from time to time they have a cheese grits with shrimp dish that is da bomb!!! It can be crowded sometimes, but never have waited to long to find a seat. There's just a good flow of people coming in and out. Been coming here for at least a year. Part of my morning routine was grabbing coffee there and then periodically throughout the week we'd come in and eat. Great spot!!!“

“Everything I've tried from Daytime has been top notch, but recently the staff has been noticeably unfriendly. I stopped in three times last week and had the same experience each time: The staff was chatting in a friendly manner to each other but as soon as they had to face a customer (me), their face completely changed. I greeted them with a friendly "Hey, how's it going??" And didn't even get a response. The last time it happened I just said I'll be back later and left without purchasing anything. I went around the corner to Sam's deli and had a great breakfast sandwich for $6 and was reminded what neighbors are really like: Sam, the owner, was communicating with a customer about helping them move their car later that day. Another person came in just to say hi and compliment Sam on the new freezer he had for the ice cream selection.

So if you're looking for a specific dish or pastry or a coffee drink from Daytime, go for it - but if you're feeling a little put out by the staff, don't forget: there's a really lovely deli that's been in the neighborhood for over 15 years right around the corner.“

“A neighborhood treat, and they have really good espresso too! I also love the fresh vibes of this small and upbeat coffee shop.

I almost exclusively drink espresso and not everyone delivers the consistency and flavor for an enjoyable shot. Hibiscus does without any frills or pretense - their well sourced, roasted and fresh beans, attentive brewing and friendly attitude delight me every time.

Come here for your caffeine fix in any form, on-the-go to the part or train, or sip it in the cosy corner table by the storefront window.

“Planted is one of the best food options in downtown Brooklyn, especially if you are vegan and gluten free. The food is delicious and very fresh. The summer rolls and jackfruit tacos are amazing! They also have lots of yummie guilt free desserts. The atmosphere is relaxed and laid back. Very Zen. They even have a sauna in the back garden. Can’t say enough good things. I highly recommend it.“

“Adorable shop. The hot chocolate was my favorite I've had in the area, and very affordable even with an alt milk. They had hooks to keep my dog leashed outside, and little tables and chairs set up outside for us to enjoy. Very friendly staff, as well. Definitely recommend.“

Personally I love the Parisian sandwich. Bread is always on point (which is increasingly hard to find), and the sandwich is simple yet incredibly flavorful, which I often put down to the quality of ingredients.

“I always go for the lentil pakoras and vegetable samosas. The owners know us because we always come here, and they’re always happy to see us back. On my birthday, they gave me a free special dish. I’m not sure what it was called, but it was one of the best things I’ve ever tried, and they really didn’t have to do that. They’re very generous, and the food is soooo affordable.

“My opinion is 9.3/10. This is a plov, my first one. Wow was it good the meat was soooo tender. The flavors mixed together so well. Only downside is the rice could be left out making it a little chewy but the meat reintroduced moisture into the rice and was sooooo worth it. “Quaint spot in Clinton Hill with a very nice backyard. I went on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't too crowded. The bartender at the time was very nice. I asked him what was on the menu and was closest to an old fashioned. He said there was nothing but he could make me one. I had mine made with bourbon and it was one of the best I've ever had.“
