“Stopped by on a lazy Sunday afternoon and ended up enjoying one of the most comforting meals I’ve had in a while. The tortilla soup completely stole the show — rich, flavorful, perfectly thick, and packed with crispy blue corn tortilla pieces in every bite. Honestly wished they had a bigger bowl because it disappeared fast.

Tried the bean & epazote tetelas on the side and they paired so well with the soup. Also shared the black bean avocado tlayudita and chilaquiles — both fresh, satisfying, and full of flavor. The chilaquiles do get a bit pricey once you add the extras, but the taste made it worth it for us.

Came around 2 PM on a Sunday and still found outdoor seating easily, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and unhurried. Great food, warm atmosphere, and one of those places you leave already thinking about coming back to.“

“We went to the Tartinery Cafe at Columbus Circle for a quick bite before a 7 PM show at Lincoln Center. It was a perfect pre-theatre experience. Beautiful setting with great views of Central Park, great service, and delicious food at a nice price point. The open-face club sandwich (topped with brie) was nicely prepared and delicious. “Came in on a Sunday afternoon and had a pleasant experience. They have fast, free wifi and reasonable drink prices. I opted for the iced matcha latte (per usual), and they sweetened it with honey for free which was nice. The matcha was very smooth and yummy.

I felt so bad because I spilled my drink when moving seats to get closer to an outlet, and there was still at least half of the drink left. They kindly cleaned up the mess and even made me another drink, despite me insisting it was okay. Really appreciated it :)

Solid spot to work from home, as there were several others also on their computers. I also really appreciate that they don’t have a laptop weekend policy, which is pretty rare! Definitely would come back to support“

“Miss Barbs is a Crown Heights establishment of the highest degree.

Their coffee and pastries are my favorites in the area, and it's a great space to hang out or work.

All the staff is super friendly and the owners are just the best.

My favorite thing about Miss Barbs is how integrated they are with the community. They run events all the time, and they're all super fun, like the spelling bee or the trash pick-up days or the little markets.

They've also got great vibes at night and it's an awesome place to get a glass of wine or two. Karaoke is my favorite thing ever and sometimes they've got a karaoke night. You can check their insta for the calendar of events.

The food was truly amazing from start to finish. My personal favorites were the heirloom tomato & melon salad, sweet crab & pepper mille-feuille, lobster cannelloni, and the squab! A massive shout-out to the chefs!
