“I was walking by and figured I'd try something sweet and I'm glad I did. I bought a banana walnut muffin and a blueberry and cheese croissant. The croissant was amazing. “Very cute and clean spot! Everything we got was delicious & we would 100% get it again!
-the croffles are perfect chewiness & texture, and they are the right level of sweet without being overpowering
-the Kagoshima match latte was nice and rich....and the strawberry cream just made it even better
- the pandan latte was amazing! Just the right amount of pandan and espresso, both flavors came through without one dominating the other

“My staff, friends and I have been to this place years ago and that the staff ordered grilled chicken sandwich from this store. The service was wonderful, and the atmosphere was that there were people watching the tv, helping, out, and many other things.“

“Stopped by on a lazy Sunday afternoon and ended up enjoying one of the most comforting meals I’ve had in a while. The tortilla soup completely stole the show — rich, flavorful, perfectly thick, and packed with crispy blue corn tortilla pieces in every bite. Honestly wished they had a bigger bowl because it disappeared fast.

Tried the bean & epazote tetelas on the side and they paired so well with the soup. Also shared the black bean avocado tlayudita and chilaquiles — both fresh, satisfying, and full of flavor. The chilaquiles do get a bit pricey once you add the extras, but the taste made it worth it for us.

Came around 2 PM on a Sunday and still found outdoor seating easily, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and unhurried. Great food, warm atmosphere, and one of those places you leave already thinking about coming back to.“

“Loved every dish- fluke with black tea, mint and peach(who knew raw fish and fruit went so well together?), amazing grilled artichokes and grilled eggplant. Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

“I went there for breakfast on a Thursday morning. The croque madame was perfection! Great service, good vibe. Be aware that you have to pay for each cup of coffee (vs. getting free refills, which is typical for breakfast service at most restaurants). The upside is the coffee is fantastic and relatively inexpensive for NYC.“

“We came here for dessert after having brunch at a different restaurant. The wait was about 50 minutes without a reservation for seating at the bar. For the future I will definitely be making a reservation as we walked the whole store in about 15 mins. The dessert was amazing and so was the Cocopolitan. My favorite was the Tiramisu 'Montenapoleone' we also ordered the Strawberry Charlotte and the Chocolate Monogram. Will definitely be going back!“

“Wow. I have to say that I found this place on a whim working around the area, and this place is a gem! Want to thank my girl, Naya, for being sweet for getting my food done near closing. Plus major compliments to the Chef because my chickgrilla sandwich was everything I imagined it to be—coming from someone who doesn’t prefer grilled chicken on her sandwiches, the chickgrilla was very flavorful and moist (not soggy tho!!!). Waffles N Sip Cafe is an absolute hidden gem! The Belgian waffles were perfectly fluffy, fresh, and delicious. Their specialty lattes are truly unique and full of flavor—the Lotus Latte is an absolute must-try and was one of the best specialty coffee drinks I’ve had.

The atmosphere is welcoming, the food is delectable, and the service was wonderful. If you’re looking for a great brunch spot with amazing waffles and creative coffee selections, I highly recommend Waffles N Sip Cafe.

“Miss Barbs is a Crown Heights establishment of the highest degree.

Their coffee and pastries are my favorites in the area, and it's a great space to hang out or work.

All the staff is super friendly and the owners are just the best.

My favorite thing about Miss Barbs is how integrated they are with the community. They run events all the time, and they're all super fun, like the spelling bee or the trash pick-up days or the little markets.

They've also got great vibes at night and it's an awesome place to get a glass of wine or two. Karaoke is my favorite thing ever and sometimes they've got a karaoke night. You can check their insta for the calendar of events.

“I decided to try a new coffee spot today and walked into Tenpa’s. I ordered a 16oz iced latte with almond milk and raspberry flavoring. I should’ve taken a picture before I mixed it all up because it was pretty and layered. The raspberry flavoring isn’t very strong, but the quality of the coffee is REALLY good. You can tell it’s good just by the color of it, that perfect toasty brown. Not too milky :)
These guys are fast and efficient! Don’t be worried about a line because it’s moving FAST. The employees are nice and pleasant and everyone’s smiling. There’s definitely regulars that go in because the person making the drinks was calling out their orders before they even ordered them lol the pastries looked delicious so I’ll be ordering one next time I go in. There’s some nice seating and looks like people enjoy going in there to work. I was in and out of there in less than 5min. Looking forward to another visit :)“

I got the cream tart and the pork bun. Both were really good.

Only downside is the entire place was full of people sitting with their laptops so wasnt able to sit anywhere inside.“

Chicken was fall off the bone tender and melted in my mouth, with a kick of flavor from house-made salsa verde and some heat for good measure. I ordered the avocado toast with egg and cheese and to say that sounds like OK yeah whatever, however, at the proprietors recommendation, I got that and so began my ascent into culinary Shangri-La! We also got two of the fresh juices, the anti-inflammatory and the veggie lovers and these were also next level delicious very large and everything was completely reasonably priced. There was only a raised counter with no barstools and a bench with no table, so it’s not a place to study or get work done, but it’s an excellent spot to stop and chat with friends, or take a quiet moment for yourself.
