5 Best Cafes near Jamaica

“First off the food here is AMAZING! I stop by at least once a week to get my favorite acai bowl: “The Boratella”. The flavors blend so well together in your mouth and it always makes you want more. The atmosphere is very modern and they keep the place very clean and tidy. Often times I dine in but recently i’ve been opting for take out/ delivery because of a faint “clean” smell in the back of the restaurant. Im not sure where it’s coming from but its off putting for me, hopefully they can work that out in the near future, other than that 10/10 establishment!“

“You have to buy a pound of thier freshly roasted Spanish roast coffee to bring home. The staff is super friendly and a great work ethic. Carmen is awesome and fully attentive to her customers, staff and business. The food is fresh and delicious. It's an out of the way place but worth it.“

“Small cafe across from the hospital with a vast menu. In the afternoon buffet opens up and food is priced by the pound. Been here a few times for the lunch buffet and you can get a decent meal for $8 if you pick mostly protein and salad off the buffet. Sandwiches, salads and ramen soups are also on the menu and the prices are steep for the neighborhood standards. Overall a standout on the block in comparison to other restaurants.“

“I absolutely love this place & their delicious food! I work at the hospital across the street, so I go there frequently for lunch. On the days that I bring lunch from home, I still go to this store to buy my peach Canada Dry drink, that isn’t sold at many delis. The owner and the staff are very friendly & polite. They make me feel good about spending my money there! They are also very attentive! One day I walked in and browsed the Naked smoothies & I didn’t see the one I liked. They asked what flavor I wanted so I showed them a picture. That very same week, they ordered the flavor for me. This place has truly made me feel valued as a customer! I’d recommend anyone that lives or work in the area to check them out!“
