“We ate "outside" in an enclosed and heated structure. Absolutely delightful. Sorry to hear they're being dismantled.
The food was a delight and service was friendly and just the right level of attentiveness. The menu is great for sharing. You can't go wrong.“

“Had the best experience at this Rooftop with my friends and family. I did my proposal here and every person that worked there was so helpful and kind with setting up and during our time there, the service was more than we could have asked for. Would definitely book a table/private event again here knowing I would be in great hands with the staff accommodating to the guests. We truly had the best time here and they did a great job making us feel special.“

“It’s such a pity, I really wanted to like this place but was let down for some reason.Ambience was great for casual dining, super hip decor, noises from tables reverberating around the small, cavern like inner room.Food was good as well. But it was so so slow. We wanted to order starters first, see how we feel before ordering mains. We were told it has to be all at once.Even though they took our orders from the start, we had to wait an hour for the mains to arrive (same for the table beside us). The service staff did come by and apologise twice, so I’m guessing the slow service is not usually the norm.“

“An upmarket restaurant in Williamsburg serving Peruvian cuisine. The staff is helpful. There are a few vegetarian options besides the meat and fish dishes. The wine list is good along with spirits, cocktails and beer. The restaurant is popular so if you are visiting after 7 pm do make a reservation.
We had lamb sausages and beet salad with goat cheese and a Peruvian lagar.“

“The service is so good here at every level and the bar selection and cocktail menu had some fantastic choices! Any place that has Vin Santo is already good in my book - then add not one but FIVE house-made 'cellos (lemon, lime, orange, orange cream, and grapefruit as far as I can remember) and I'm home. Very much looking forward to the Fall cocktail menu!
The new dinner menu has a lot more to offer to the vegetarians among us which grabbed my interest after admittedly kind of writing it off when Gus's originally opened. The sungold and corn rigatoni and special duchess potatoes have me excited for the future veg offerings!
Vegetarian options: There were at least two vegetarian pastas and multiple vegetarian starters and sides to choose from“

“Just exceptional. In a city of amazing bars, some of the best in the world, we can’t think of one we’ve enjoyed more. Explore every cocktail on the menu. They’re delicious, and also perfectly prepared and all photo worthy. But don’t miss the best part: the vermouths. The best selection of vermouths that we know of in America. Many of them have everything an excellent cocktail has to offer right in themselves with a little ice. And if you have the good luck to have Diego manning the bar, just ask him what you should have.
A marvelous experience not to be missed. 15 minutes from midtown Manhattan.“

“The first time I heard about this place was when I saw their huge sign while driving. My friends and I decided to give it a try and enjoy the food. Since they were running late (or maybe I just arrived too early!), I ended up sitting at the bar and ordered a happy hour margarita with chamoy and Tajín on the rim. For $20, it included chips and guac or salsa—not bad at all. The margarita was delicious, and the chips were fresh.
Once my friends arrived, we ordered a few dishes to share: the enchiladas, tacos a la barbacoa, and tres leches cake. Everything was good, though the food itself wasn’t something we’d rave about, but we definitely enjoyed the overall vibe. I do want to mention that the staff was fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable.“

“We love Achilles Heel and make a point to visit every time we come to New York City. Great service, friendly staff, and really good food. It's a little off the beaten path for us since we typically stay in Manhattan, but it's definitely worth a visit. It's super cute.“

“After having this restaurant on our must visit list for months, we finally made it. Our family was running late, and the staff happily allowed us to push our reservation by 45 minutes.
The food was excellent! Very fresh and full of flavor with decent portion sizes.
Kid-friendliness: Saw plenty of kids there… the staff was very accommodating to my picky children“

“Went here on a friday night and it was empty at first. Very open spaced bar and has lots of seating. I had their frozen espresso martini which is best tackling the New York heat. At around 10:30, more people started coming in and it was pretty busy. Also ordered the truffle fries and brussel sprouts, great great bar food.“

“The food was out of this world. Very fast service and attentive staff.
The restaurant is fairly small, so tables are close to each other and we overheard the conversation of other guests. It didn’t bother us too much but perhaps this is something to keep in mind if you come here for a business meeting.
Overall, very enjoyable dining experience.“

“We’ve had the pleasure of visiting Maison Premiere twice, and each time provided a unique and satisfying experience. During our first visit, we arrived too late for the kitchen and oyster bar, so we opted to enjoy some cocktails instead. The menu was distinct, capturing an authentic Prohibition-era ambiance, which I hadn't encountered before in New York. For our second visit, we made sure to arrive before the kitchen closed, and the effort truly paid off! As avid oyster lovers, we were excited by the wide and varied selection, featuring oysters from the East and West Coasts, Japan, and British Columbia. After much deliberation, we chose our favorites, and every one was outstanding. I’m already looking forward to going back! A delightful surprise was that the oysters we handpicked based on regions turned out to be the chef’s choices for the evening. Though I typically steer clear of vodka, I paired the oysters with a dirty vodka martini, and to my surprise, it was perfectly balanced and thoroughly enjoyable. In all, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend Maison Premiere for an intimate, charming date night—10/10!“

“Surprised we haven’t heard of this spot till now! Such a nice outdoor rooftop with space for big groups which NYC doesn’t have enough of. I booked two large tables for my husband’s birthday of 20+ people ($200). It ended up raining a little so we actually didn’t need the reservation but the peace of mind is worth it. We had a covered section of the patio with heaters practically to ourselves. Staff were friendly, cocktails were tasty, beer shot combo was solid, and many friends ordered food but I personally didn’t try it. Loved the Montego Slay and Sunnyboy drinks. There’s a $25 clean up fee if you bring in a birthday cake. Overall a great place to hang out with a huge group and I’m surprise it isn’t more packed on a Saturday.PS - there is an elevator so you don’t have to walk up 4 flights of stairs like we did ?“

“It was an incredible experience yesterday when my wife and I finally got to go out after having our baby. We were looking for a place with great ambiance, good music, and refreshing drinks, and we got all that and more. The atmosphere was just perfect, with a warm and inviting vibe that made us feel right at home. The music was spot on, and we couldn't help but sway to the beat. The drinks were crafted to perfection, and we savored every sip. Overall, it was an unforgettable evening that we will cherish for a long time to come.“

“I went to the Summer Thunder event to catch the legendary Kid Congo Powers perform a free(!) show. I do wish that the venue was clear about the music starting 2 hours after the doors opened, because I would’ve arrived a bit later, but the show was great. I got a whiskey sour inside and it was delicious, as well as a steak tostada from the taco truck in the backyard. It hit the spot and I wish I had another, two days later. I ate it too quickly to remember to take a photo. Bring cash for the truck!
Vegetarian options: Quesadillas, veggie tacos/tostadas“

“Had the fingerling potatoes and breakfast burrito. Burrito had a lot of flavor but but a little sloppy near the end. It’s tough getting that moisture out when doing breakfast burritos but those that do, it’s much better and not as messy. The rosemary fingerling potatoes were absolutely amazing. Would get those every time I come here.
For a drink I had a Le mone spritz. I think it’s ok. Not as citrus forward as I would have hoped so might as well go with a normal spritz while here.“

“What an incredible first time at Eavesdrop for our anniversary. Cocktails were excellent, food was delicious, but the vibe, sounds, conversation and tasty bonus sips from bartender (Gideon) made the evening above and beyond. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu, will hopefully be back soon!“

“We waited, and waited, and waited outside. We weren’t able to get in for either set. I’m not sure how they manage allowing guests to only assist one set but very few people seemed to have left after the first set and before the second. A waitress came outside and told us we’d all be seated soon and 30 minutes later, we were still waiting in line outside with the horrendous stench of decomposing rodents and trash. We dipped. Either you take reservations or make sure people in the first set don’t stay for the second. If you get inside, the ambience is lovely.“

“We love Kent Ale House! We went here for a small "afterparty" after our wedding. We had coordinated with Clive ahead of time, who was flexible, understanding, and so kind. When it became clear that we weren't going to have more than about 15 people, Clive suggested that we should NOT rent the back room, but just hang out in the main area; that is, he did the OPPOSITE of upselling us. They kindly turned on a Yankee game from a few days prior so we could watch it. The food was delicious, the people were great, and we were so happy to be there. Clive even wrote us a note the following day congratulating us on our wedding!“

“My boyfriend and I dined at the bar here on November 2. Food was great and the vibes were great. Alessandro, the owner, is very welcoming. However they didn’t serve us our bread and were going to serve it after the last course but I told them not to bother. They also were very slow to refill our waters. Other than that, it was great.“
