“101 is the last true dive bar! The final frontier of bar hopping. Of course it’s rough around the edges but that’s the character I seek! It’s welcoming once you’re comfortable there, the drinks are abundant and strong. The vibe are always so incredibly positive and strong. The dancing and climbing around the wooden furniture is such a whimsical experience. At a certain point everyone’s on a vibe together. The dark haired bartender with tattoos is one of the free-est most unique individuals I’ve ever met. I am a big fan of the energy and personality in this bar.“

The bartender was really chill and hooked us up with a beer and shot special for 8 bucks. This place also has a really chill and hospitable back patio area, very large, with a bocce ball court and a bunch of tables and chairs. Super cool. I would return as soon as possible.“

“One of the best dive bars in Brooklyn. Prices are great, the energy is good, tons of sports on tv, pool table, big outdoor area, and nice clean bathrooms. Plus they have a touch tune machine so you can play your own music And they’re very flexible with it too, not like other establishments where they shut off the music after a while or lower it cause they don’t like something that you played. On top of all this, the owner and the staff are really incredibly nice. Would highly recommend this place.“
