It was my 1st time to Coney Island this summer and my husband and I wanted a distinctly Coney Island eating experience. As we don't eat hot dogs (and weren't about to wait in the long Nathan's lines anyway), we were attracted to Ruby's instead. Frozen margaritas? Check. A full bar in fact. The food hit the spot, but what really gives Ruby’s five stars is the service! We came on a Saturday afternoon, it’s busy, but a staff member (maybe the manager or owner) helped our group of 7 people find two tables we could put together, after we said no, it’s okay we will just stand. He went above and beyond!!

We stopped by on Father’s Day around 5pm and had a beer. Great friendly environment with a jukebox-playing classic rock. We can’t wait to come back and be able to sit-relax and have a few beers.
